11/07/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant. Impeccable service, very friendly and polite. They were very attentive to our requests. The cuisine was excellent, refined, and delicious. A very pleasant surprise.
01/07/2026: For us, a stay in Bagnoles-de-l'Orne without having lunch at Le Comptoir is unthinkable.
For the view of the lake, of course, but not only that.
The staff is welcoming and efficient.
We've tried different dishes and desserts and have never been disappointed.
It's easy to park nearby, which is a bonus.

14/06/2026: We'll be returning to this place very soon for another weekend getaway because we loved everything about it. The hotel, the food, the location, and of course, the staff. A bonus is that pets are allowed. Parking is easy, and the Montligeon Basilica is a masterpiece nearby. I highly recommend it.

16/05/2026: A pleasant experience during my visit to Alençon... it was very busy because of the rain (and even snow!), so the service was a little slow, but the smiles made up for it, which was more than enough 😊! The only slight downside was that the tart was a bit overcooked and therefore a little hard, but it was still very enjoyable.
I'll be back :)
25/04/2026: The pastries are really good and original. The cookies make a great gift to bring to family, for example, and the service is always friendly. I highly recommend it!

25/05/2026: A truly exceptional lunch. We opted for the four-course menu, and the entire meal was beautiful, delicious, and expertly executed, with inventive petit fours. Special mention goes to the service, which exceeded the expectations of a one-Michelin-starred restaurant. The dining room was a delightful surprise, opening onto the garden and offering the option of enjoying aperitifs and coffee outdoors. A fine selection of wines is available in the cellar for those who wish to indulge.

A simple place for a quick meal, but don't expect much…
The service, however, was pleasant and efficient from the two waiters!
