31/03/2026: I, Sir Ludovic de Téléton, knight and connoisseur of the meats and fine foods of our region, had the honor and pleasure of feasting at the noble Restaurant Des Amis in the village of Moncy. There, I was served a dish worthy of the finest lords: veal chop with crispy chanterelles and butternut squash, potato gratin, and broccoli flan—a dish both flavorful and exquisitely elegant. Before raising my fork to my mouth, I carefully examined each element: the veal chop, tender and juicy, cooked to perfection according to the ancient art of roasting; the fresh chanterelles, fragrant with the aroma of the nearby woods and skillfully prepared; the crisp butternut squash, expertly grated; the delicate and airy broccoli flan; and finally, the golden and refined potato gratin. Each bite was a perfect harmony, reflecting the excellence of the region's produce and the chef's expert hand. I can assure you, without vanity but with truth, that no knight or lord could find fault with this feast: I am highly knowledgeable about food and textures, and no artifice could deceive me. The cooking was precise, the flavors balanced, and the presentation worthy of the grandest royal banquets. Therefore, I praise and recommend, in my own name and that of my noble lineage, Restaurant Des Amis to anyone seeking a noble and refined meal, where one can savor the bounty of our land and the virtuosity of our chefs. May the wine be plentiful and the table laden, for such is the merit of this establishment.

01/06/2025: A comfortable, well-renovated hotel. The welcome is very friendly. We arrived by motorcycle and were very well received. Parking is available in front of the hotel. The restaurant is worth a visit with its delicious and creative menu. The hotel is close to the abbey ruins and the leisure center, making it a pleasant walk.
