The added bonus: a team of wonderful people who offer a warm welcome, quality service, and regional cuisine at reasonable prices in a very pleasant working atmosphere. In short! A must-visit! 26/01/2026: The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming; you feel right at home in this typically Basque restaurant, just like the building itself. The ambiance is very friendly, with an owner who has a great sense of humor, and it's excellent! And what can I say about the food: everything was excellent! The fish soup was a delight, the calamari delicious, the axoa excellent, and the koka fantastic! Next time, we'll book 24 hours in advance to try the Ttoro. We had a wonderful time.

The tuna steak and tuna tataki were highlights. Would definitely recommend for anyone searching for dinner in Saint Jean de Luz!

15/01/2026: We visited La Boete in Saint-Jean-de-Luz and loved the experience. It's a nautical bistro right in the city center, with a very special atmosphere where the Atlantic is present in everything, even the details of the place. We tried several dishes to share, and they were all excellent: haddock tartare, house-made foie gras, tuna ham with hummus, herring tartare with beetroot and capers, and a truly delicious fish and chips with homemade tartar sauce. For dessert, we ordered their crème brûlée "their way," with pineapple at the base. It's a different take on the classic, interesting and well-executed. If you're in Saint-Jean-de-Luz and enjoy good food, this is a highly recommended stop. Good ingredients, excellent preparation, and a lovely atmosphere.

07/07/2025: Very friendly little restaurant. From the €25 menu, I had mussels à la diva as a starter; excellent. However, the main course was squid. A huge surprise, really very little in the pan. Nothing to eat. And for dessert, a homemade tiramisu, which was also a real disappointment. Otherwise, the waiters and waitresses were very decent.

16/11/2025: The setting was very pleasant. The food was good, but on the day of our visit, the service was very slow. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes to get our main course, without a starter, and with four children.

Les poissons sont frais et les plats copieux, et le conseil est lá pour nous éviter de surconsommer au vu des tentations de la carte proposée. Bref ! Nous y reviendrons c’est certain !

09/09/2024: Si vous recherchez un restaurant de poissons et crustacés courrez y !! Les cuissons parfaites, le produit très frais est respecté. Un délice ! Rapport qualité prix au top. La parrillada avec des supions délicieux, des gambas gouteuses et un poisson parfait. En entrée des couteaux très tendres... J en ai rarement mangés d'aussi bons. Les desserts ; je recommande la glace au pamplemousse. Nous reviendrons.

26/12/2025: Charming little restaurant, delicious bobun, exquisite poached pear, very charming young woman serving – in short, a very pleasant evening. The only slight drawback was that we almost didn't go because the restaurant's website stated that it was fully booked until July 2026… luckily we called and were told there was a problem and to disregard the website. In any case, a great find.

30/11/2025: We came specifically because the menu offered vegetarian/vegan dishes, and we were extremely pleased with the options! The food was original, well-seasoned, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was warm, simple, and efficient. We will gladly return.

07/07/2025: June 24th at lunch, my birthday lunch. No ventilation or air conditioning that day. Very hot outside. 58 euro menu, probably a poor choice on my part, the free-range egg. Vomiting and nausea 2 hours after the meal. A distant welcome.

10/12/2025: Excellent experience at this hotel. Spacious and well-maintained room. Top-notch bedding. Very friendly and welcoming staff, especially Julien. We felt right at home. I'll be back soon.

10/12/2025: Everyone was very friendly, overall a very good experience but a big negative point is the jacuzzi which is really not at the right temperature, same for the pool, so we did not take advantage of the wellness area which was the reason why we preferred this hotel.

17/09/2025: Popped in here for a coffee and decided to come back for some food. The coffee was very good, the food was simple and very tasty. Add to that really good service and I'd say this is worth a visit 😀
