26/01/2026: The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming; you feel right at home in this typically Basque restaurant, just like the building itself. The ambiance is very friendly, with an owner who has a great sense of humor, and it's excellent! And what can I say about the food: everything was excellent! The fish soup was a delight, the calamari delicious, the axoa excellent, and the koka fantastic! Next time, we'll book 24 hours in advance to try the Ttoro. We had a wonderful time.

This restaurant, where the quality of the dishes—soup, chorizo ​​risotto, shrimp risotto, homemade Bounty ice cream—exceeded all my expectations and left me with a wonderful memory of my stay in Saint Jean. 05/03/2026: A perfect family stay in the La Rhune apartment. The apartment is of very high quality and perfectly equipped. The bedding was excellent, and there was plenty of space. The hotel is very well located, at the top of the shopping street and close to the beach. The staff is attentive and caring; a big thank you to Julien for his kindness and helpfulness.

27/02/2026: Hiking from Bidart to St Jean-de-Luz, I was so happy to find this bar open on February 26th, under summer-like weather! A very warm welcome, a fantastic location with a breathtaking sea view, and excellent food (special mention for the red berry panna cotta). I promised to leave a (good) review... and here it is!

22/02/2026: A disappointing experience from start to finish. There were two of us, and we arrived at 1:10 PM. We were told there would be a 20-minute wait; after 40 minutes, I had to remind them we were still there. We were finally seated. Another 25 minutes passed before anyone took our order. The appetizer arrived quickly, but then… more than 40 minutes of waiting without ever seeing the main course. We decided to leave and made our dissatisfaction known while paying for our appetizers and drinks. No apology, no consideration whatsoever, and to top it all off, a member of staff called me an “idiot.” I understand they were busy… but still! Lack of organization, a complete absence of professionalism, and unacceptable behavior from some staff members. Truly disappointed!
