12/09/2024: Un accueil des plus souriant pour un dîner de qualité. La cuisine y est excellente avec des produits de qualité et cuisinés à l’instant.
Les poissons sont frais et les plats copieux, et le conseil est lá pour nous éviter de surconsommer au vu des tentations de la carte proposée.
Bref ! Nous y reviendrons c’est certain !

Les cuissons parfaites, le produit très frais est respecté.
Un délice ! Rapport qualité prix au top. La parrillada avec des supions délicieux, des gambas gouteuses et un poisson parfait. En entrée des couteaux très tendres... J en ai rarement mangés d'aussi bons. Les desserts ; je recommande la glace au pamplemousse.
Nous reviendrons.

18/11/2024: Cela a mal commencé, 5 minutes de retard, montre en mains et nous avons été accueilli comme des chiens dans un jeu de quille : « si d autres clients arrivaient je leur aurais donné la table » ça commençait bien !
J avoue que la façon de faire du serveur est plus que douteuse, et il y a la manière de le dire !
Heureusement que les plats sont très bons et que le vin est à la hauteur , cela rattrape la chose….
Pour les sanitaires une mauvaise note, ils sont limités et dans leur jus avec une corbeille à papier déjà pleine à 12h30 ….
J avoue ne pas savoir si on peut le conseiller ou pas …..
09/11/2024: Plats de poissons copieux et savoureux, peu de couverts, restaurant typique cuisine basque et espagnole avec tables rapprochées dans espace restreint, le patron est jovial et commerçant principes ,c’est une très bonne adresse mais si vous voulez une paella il faut la commander 24 h à l’avance ! Éviter le vin au verre de base

des produits de qualité, de l'originalité, un service très pro du début a la fin du repas merci a toute l'équipe.
04/09/2024: A really brilliant place with inventive recipes mixed with the traditional. The veal starter was delicious but the best dish of all was the langoustines, a real show stopper.

23/09/2024: Had the 3 course menu. Fish soup excellent. Both the mains of veil and duck were also very flavourful. Service was efficient and very friendly. Deserts were great too. And all for a reasonable price, especially given the area. No complaints at all. Would definitely repeat.

22/09/2024: Admittedly out of season . We walked up thankfully 15 min before opening and we scored a table outside. Nothing the conga line behind us . Suggest you book . Very friendly staff rushing about . Terrific food - 4 people - we had about 3 entrees , a salad and a chuleta / chuleton steak( “for 2” ) and this was plenty . Hardly recommend - as there seems on this site a number of less well rated so called tourist traps ! Suggest you bring book!!

12/09/2024: Atención en español, servicio rápido, precios normales, atención muy buena. Las sardinas, los mejillones y el paté vasco son los imprescindibles. Se pide al entrar, te asignan mesa muy rápido, En caso de que te quedes con hambre, le puedes pedir a cualquier camarero. Sitio para comer rápido, ya que el horario de comidas y cenas es muy reducido... 100 % Recomendado...

18/12/2024: We spent an absolutely wonderful night at this beachfront hotel. The suite was stunning, spacious and perfectly decorated, offering stunning views of the ocean. Comfort was there, with quality bedding and an idyllic setting in which to relax. We enjoyed the spa, which allowed us to recharge our batteries. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, ideal for a moment as a couple. We highly recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway. It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy an unforgettable experience.

20/09/2024: I took the hummus starter and the vegetarian option of the moment (grilled vegetables on eggplant caviar, vegan version, without cheese).
The starter (vegan) was delicious. The very tasty dish (grilled vegetables).
The bill is high... for almost 0 proteins... unfortunately in the vegan options (as usual!).
The restaurant was created in 1940.
Dinner on the terrace (where we are tightly packed).

30/08/2024: The most authentic place you can find in Saint Jean de Luz. It really feels like you are eating in the living room of a French house. From the outside it feels closed but don't hesitate to walk through the door.
Whatever you do, don't leave without dessert.
Five stars because you can't add a sixth.
