15/05/2024: Lors d'un court séjour au Pays Basque nous sommes allés manger au restaurant La MARIPOSA .Dès la porte franchie un super accueil vous met dans le ton de la soirée ,un service irréprochable fait de conseils, gentillesse et pointe d'humour nous a permis de faire les bons choix .Un pavé d'Espadon pour mon épouse et pour moi une Parillada de poissons .Quel régal cuisson parfaite (merci au cuisinier) et plat copieux et succulents le tout complété de desserts dont le gâteau Basque incontournable. Nous avons quitté ce restaurant enchanté de notre soirée n'était pas là l'essentiel. Merci encore à tout les deux . Philippe et Catherine

18/05/2024: We enjoyed the staff as well as the beautiful food. We found them Michelin formal and Basque friendly; from our perspective, a perfect combination. Between the three of us, we experienced both lunch menus. We also added a cheese plate before dessert. I recommend only ordering one cheese plate if you decide to add this to your experience. 15/05/2024: Très belle découverte, délicieux plats (menu à 90€) fins, goûteux, gourmands , de jolis paysages dans l assiette ou les légumes de saison ont une jolie place. Personnel de salle aux petits soins, prix attractif. Conseillé.

05/04/2024: Small restaurant 2 steps from the beach. Pleasant welcome. Menu of the day, starter, main course, dessert for €22. Very good value for money. The kitchen is very good.

02/04/2024: Great place that we discovered. The cuisine is a treat for the taste buds. The waiter advised us and it was a marvel. The decor is excellent, I recommend +++++++++++++++++

19/05/2024: The three ingredients of a successful restaurant are the setting, the service and what you find on the plate. We might as well tell you that these three ingredients are much more than combined at Boëte. A daring and subtle cuisine that remains in generous portions. Impeccable service from Hervé, who gives the “La” to your meal. Finally, the setting which immerses you in a fisherman's cabin. The freshness and very reasonable prices for a restaurant with a gastronomic influence make it an excellent address, very consistent as it is unfortunately rare to find today. We went back twice during our stay in Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Anthony

10/06/2024: Very carefully prepared food of good quality. Refined creations, but without too much chic. Interesting wines by the glass at attractive prices. The atmosphere: rather conventional/cosy. On the other hand, serving flambéed marshmallows as an après dessert - you have to think of that first!

05/05/2024: The stay has been perfect!! both the room and the hotel staff, 10!! The spa included in the price of the room is a plus to take into account after a day of excursion. We will repeat and recommend without a doubt.

02/04/2024: The dishes in this cozy restaurant are very delicious. Homemade and prepared dishes in an informal atmosphere. Quite economical considering where it is located. Seasonal menu that changes. The service is a little slow.

01/04/2024: Slow service, you also have to make several requests since the first ones are not listened to. One of the waiters (I assume the boss) is not pleasant and has a condescending tone at times. The quality of the dishes is quite mixed (some dishes very good, others nothing special).

01/05/2024: Je suis venu ici il y tres longtemps peut-être avant le bistrotpunk. Anyways je suis revenue avec un vieil ami New Yorkais avec qui j’ai fréquenté CBGB’s en 1977. J’ai trouvé rien de punk mais plutôt une cuisine presque bourgeoise surtout en ce qui concerne le prix. 40€ pour entrée + plat et le moitié des offres ont des suppléments en prix de 6-10 euros. Mon entrée de porc ibérique avec une purée de pomme de terre était froid au milieu et la serveuse ( très sympathique) a du le remporter à la cuisine pour une autre dose de micro onde. La bavette était bien. La brandade d’haddock de mon ami n’a jamais trouvé le capitaine. La carte des vins est bien fourni mais quasi rien de moins de 40€. J’attendais mieux et ne retournerai pas fidèle à mon antécédents punk.

24/04/2024: Seit vielen Jahren stützen wir uns auf die Tipps von Michelin ab und wurden auch noch nie enttäuscht. Wie es dieses Restaurant auf die Empfehlung von Michelin geschafft hat ist uns ein Rätsel. Der Service nicht wirklich professionell. Das Essen war auf dem Niveau eines schlechten Touristenrestaurants. Die Vorspeise war kalt (Wurde wohl schon länger vorher vorbereitet und kaltgestellt. Somit war nicht wirklich ein Geschmack erkennbar. Beim Hauptgang (Flank-Steak mit Kartoffelstock) war alles mit einer braunen Sauce übergossen und darüber war noch Rucola-Salat. Rein optisch unappetitlich und auch im Gaumen nicht wirklich was man in einem guten Restaurant erwartet. Die Weinkarte ist ebenfalls sehr schlecht. Wir hatten einen Wein für rund 50 Euro. Zuhause würde ich mit diesem Wein nicht einmal kochen.
