21/09/2025: It was a wonderful experience with French cuisine. The dishes are delicious and very reasonably priced. The sauces, in particular, dance harmoniously in your mouth.

18/09/2025: Brilliant place but get there for opening time otherwise you might not get a table. The service was excellent, the food brilliant as they only have a set menu but don't let that put you off going, you will not be disappointed. The only thing is that serve wine by the glass and not as most restaurants in a piche or caraf.

04/06/2026: I've booked at this B&B several times and honestly, I've never had any problems. The rooms are very nice and clean (they just need a small bin in the room because the one in the bathroom isn't big enough), the staff are always very kind and welcoming. The hotel is well located. No problems at all 🤗

04/04/2026: I booked a table at this restaurant because it had good reviews, so I could eat with my wife, and what a disappointment! A waiter greeted us and seated us, and that's when the awkwardness began: crude, off-color jokes... We then waited 20 minutes without anything—no bottled water, no bread, and most importantly, no one came to take our order. A second waitress walked past our empty table several times without even saying hello. Yet the restaurant wasn't full. The food must be good, but the mediocrity and lack of professionalism in the dining room prevented us from knowing. After waiting for over 20 minutes, we left without having eaten. 👍 Absolutely avoid this place.

19/05/2026: I was worried this would be a stuffy dining experience and I was pleasantly surprised! The main dining room was homey with a gorgeous 1300’s fireplace. The service was jovial and non-judgmental. We didn’t order the duck but was got to watch it being prepared twice. What a treat! The food was phenomenal! It did take nearly 3 hours for the full four course service and it was worth the time and the $$. It’s soooo much more than ‘Julia Childs’ inspiration’.

13/06/2025: A pleasant brasserie for dining in Rouen. The fish and chips are good, although a little light. The chocolate fondant isn't amazing. It gets the job done for a pretty decent price. The menu selection is limited, but it's sufficient. It's more suitable for a drink than a meal, though.

05/05/2026: I'm going to be very clear and extremely frank. The food is very good, the place is very nice, the waiter and the cooks are absolutely perfect, very kind and top-notch! However, the owner, if you don't like your job, then don't do it, but please, don't spread your bad mood to others. I've never seen anyone so awful. I went in with my bags and suitcase to get something to eat and drink while waiting for my boyfriend to finish. He was extremely unpleasant and aggressive towards me. He told me it wasn't daycare, that we couldn't wait, etc., but in an extremely aggressive way. When I then asked if I could get something to eat, there was no response. He politely told me to go to hell…

05/05/2026: Very good restaurant. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. Perfect welcome. Professional and friendly staff. The set menu (pictured, with starter, main course, and dessert) that I ordered was very good but quite generous. Fish as a starter and andouillette sausage as a main course is a lot. There were no vegetables (apart from the fries) or fruit (for dessert), which is a shame. It would be good to revise the set menu and make it more balanced; I think that's important. 08/04/2026: A meal with two of my sons, who are usually picky eaters. Everyone was happy. The dining room is quiet, the service excellent, quick, and above all, friendly. A restaurant I highly recommend for the quality of its menu, its daily specials, and its freshness. An institution and an excellent brasserie in Rouen. Bravo! 👏👏👏
