24/09/2026: Everything was perfect! A reasonably priced and generous meal (very good!). The gourmet coffee was a bit pricey, but the chocolate mousse made up for it, unlike the mass-produced madeleine inside. However, over €5.50 for a half-bottle of sparkling water with syrup in a plastic bottle is expensive! Very, very expensive!!!! Having eaten in restaurants regularly, the average price for a gourmet coffee is under eight euros, and a half-bottle of sparkling water is rarely more than four euros. It's a shame, everything was good, but the glass of water was hard to swallow.

22/06/2026: Great atmosphere and a great brasserie. Over time, Denis and Corinne have become dear and caring friends, always smiling and courageous.

13/10/2026: A business dinner at this ideally located restaurant on the Place du Vieux-Marché, in the heart of Rouen's historic center. Overall, the dishes are decent and well-presented, although more refined seasoning and a few creative touches would enhance the flavors. The cuisine remains pleasant, but lacks a certain distinctiveness to truly stand out. On the other hand, special mention goes to the two young waitresses, whose professionalism, kindness, and efficiency deserve to be highlighted. Their warm welcome and attentiveness greatly contribute to the quality of the experience. The owner is also very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, which is particularly appreciated. In conclusion, a pleasant and convivial establishment with excellent service. A few improvements in the kitchen would allow this restaurant to reach the next level. A well-deserved 4/5 rating, especially thanks to the quality of the welcome and service.

30/09/2026: A café where you immediately feel at ease. The owner and staff are pleasant and attentive to the upkeep of the establishment. The homemade cuisine is high-quality and very good, with a varied menu that changes weekly. The clientele is friendly. Some evenings there are concerts by local bands to liven things up, and sometimes there are events such as clothing swaps, a carnival, etc.

02/06/2026: After descending from Sainte-Catherine Hill, we were looking for a typical Rouen spot for lunch. Our guardian angels (and the Petit Futé guidebook) guided us perfectly! A unique, wonderful place; everything enchanted and amazed us... Location, welcome, style (Mucha, Klimt!), ambiance, service, music... Real cuisine, a true chef who knows his craft; a truly excellent find. We will definitely return to this magical place. Patrick and Evelyne, Moselle

14/10/2026: The restaurant had over 700 years of history. Great atmosphere, really good menu and food. Rishad made our night, the best service we ever got in France!

13/10/2026: An hour and a half wait. No water. The waiter brought us a dish meant for another table while we'd been waiting for our starter for 50 minutes. No wine, no bread. The waiter/manager barked orders in our ears, orders meant for the trainee waiter. It was laughable, the service was so brutal. €75 for the duck (not available), then a 25-minute wait only to be told the oysters weren't available either. Everything went wrong. Unbelievable. They even put a closed bottle of wine on the table, only to take it away 30 seconds later without any idea what to do with it. They completely lost the concept of customer service. We left for a neighbor's place after eating two ridiculous amuse-bouches in 90 minutes. Out of five of us, not one of us even apologized. When you sell bottles for €1,500, you make sure you don't skimp on staff training, gentlemen. 1300 years, my ass. Not a shred of responsibility or apology. Thanks for ruining our evening, which started at around €300. Represent your region or make way for a laser tag arena.

19/10/2026: A disaster... 20 minutes to order, the appetizers arrived before the drinks, and the main courses 45 minutes later, with 5 minutes between each. The pasta was overcooked and completely tasteless. Edit following reply: There were five of us; I'm not convinced it's necessary to reserve the entire place.

18/10/2026: Brunch with family and friends was fantastic! There was an entertainer for the children, which was a huge plus! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere and staff were friendly. I highly recommend it and we'll be back!

01/10/2026: A little solo getaway to Rouen, I booked this bistro expecting to enjoy homemade food without breaking the bank... Mission accomplished!! It's true there aren't many options on the menu, but I think 4 or 5 choices are more than enough ☺️ The dishes are delicious from the appetizer to the main course and dessert 🥰 And the rosé I had was very good 😁 How much did it cost in total? €37.50!! I had an appetizer, main course, dessert, and rosé, which was definitely worth it! Don't hesitate to go 😊😊 Oh, I almost forgot to mention the lovely waitress, who was so attentive and even took my photos 🤭

26/09/2026: We came with friends and had a wonderful time. The service was perfect. Special mention to our waitress who is incredibly knowledgeable about wine and gave us excellent recommendations. The fish was cooked to perfection, pearly white – I loved it.

22/10/2026: A disgrace! Appalling service. Not a single "hello," no menu offered, and unfriendly faces from beginning to end. You clearly feel like you're bothering them. Basic politeness and customer service are completely absent from this café. Avoid at all costs!

21/10/2026: I booked the August bar for a post-thesis party. Everything was perfect, from the service and food quality to the organization throughout the evening and my rapport with Cléo, especially her helpfulness at the bar. Thank you to Cléo and the entire August team for a wonderful evening. I highly recommend August for a festive event or a private party!

31/08/2026: Nothing went right during our visit. We asked for a table on the terrace, which was apparently closed, but barely 10 minutes later people were seated. We ordered a pulp-free orange juice and were told they didn't have any, even though it was freshly squeezed and therefore contained pulp. We ordered a matcha latte and received just a latte with whipped cream, which was an extra charge. Despite that, it wasn't bad, but I can't recommend this service, especially at this price.

30/08/2026: If you like fruit-based drinks, smoothies, milkshakes, etc., you've come to the right place. The only downside is that it's very crowded, there's a bit of a wait to get a seat, and the prices are too high for my liking.

01/09/2026: I found this restaurant through an app that calculates calories by taking a picture of my plate. The tray with the brownie was good and corresponded to my remaining calorie intake. The portion of pancakes was a decent size. The service was efficient for a lunch break.
