29/03/2026: We had a decent lunch, but it's a shame the fries weren't homemade for this type of brasserie… And we waited an hour for our food even though the restaurant wasn't very busy…
24/03/2026: The welcome was adequate, the service a bit casual, and the food good but not refined. It must have been a great establishment that has lost its luster.

07/02/2026: The first floor is cramped and noisy. This Friday, February 6th, at lunchtime, there were 28 covers despite the posted capacity of 19 (a safety measure?).
Cleanliness needs improvement; the cutlery was dirty.
The food quality could be better. Aside from the location... a place to avoid.

Lunch for four as a family.
Aperitif with a spritz, a glass of white wine, and two sodas.
Two set menus (starter, main course, dessert), with a poached egg with Camembert as a starter.
For the main course, chicken casserole with Maroilles cheese and homemade fries, and tarte tatin for dessert.
For the children, a burger and a flank steak with homemade fries.
All the dishes were delicious.
Sanitation is well-maintained,
and the food is both tasty and plentiful for a very reasonable price (€99.70).
All this with a magnificent view of the Rouen courthouse (absolutely beautiful).
Friendly and efficient service.

03/03/2026: I came to eat lunch with my wife today. The staff were unfriendly, except for the young waitress/cook who acted like she was in charge. The meal was unappetizing: the andouillette sausage was undercooked, the butcher's meat was overcooked on top and cold inside, and the fries were overcooked and inedible. Avoid this place; I do not recommend it.

02/02/2026: I worked at the Christmas market two years ago. Every morning, before opening the stall, I'd have my coffee and play Amigo.
I won over 500 euros, but in my haste, I misplaced my ticket.
The manager and staff went out of their way to help me find it, despite how busy it was that morning.
I was running late, so I left... disappointed.
That evening, I went back without much hope. When the person saw me, they proudly held up a small white ticket... it was tucked away in a gap under the cash register. So, a little belatedly, I wanted to thank you gentlemen for your honesty and empathy. A big thank you, and see you next Christmas.

29/08/2024: Auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant sind wir beim CanCan stehen geblieben, das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unser Hund wurde nett behandelt. Das Essen hat uns dann sehr positiv überrascht und die Präsentationen der Gänge war erfrischend anders. Absolute ein toller Abend mit leckerem Essen auf der Terrasse und Blick auf das Treiben am Platz.. Empfehlenswert.

We came on December 1st. The professionalism of the young girls impressed me so much, the hard work with a smile and the attention to everyone.
The playlist is chosen with taste by a saleswoman who works here and that's good. Because music accompanies the presence of visitors, gives an atmosphere. Well done to you.

09/06/2024: Saturday evening spent in this establishment, obviously after probable recent change of owner because decoration and menu different from those announced on the internet.
Layout of the room in complete white quite modest. Heartwarming welcome.
Menu composed of simple dishes, half based on fried poultry.
Disappointment with the basic, tasteless canteen-style cuisine (chicken leg without sauce with fries). At that price it's quite astonishing. Dessert small piece of tasteless cold apple pie, certainly frozen.
Despite everything, the meal was OK but the bill was rather high.
