24/07/2026: I'm literally eating carbonara pasta with burnt bacon. It has absolutely no taste except for the burnt flavor. It's infested. The burrata is tasteless, saltless, and breadless, served with a single arugula leaf and four cherry tomatoes for €9… I might as well go to Carrefour at that price. Even if we use Uber, we're still customers…

18/07/2026: I just ordered a pizza and was very well received. I haven't tasted it yet, but I've heard good things about it. I asked the waitress if it was normal that the menu wasn't online; she was surprised and passed the information along. So, I'd like to request that the menu be posted here as a photo.

27/08/2026: The seller was super nice, I highly recommend them, and the crepe was very filling.

26/08/2026: Excellent location. The kittens definitely add to the charm. The service was very friendly, although it would have been nice if they had let us know they were about to close when we sat down. Having to rush our beers for fear of holding them up slightly spoiled the experience.

02/06/2026: I came yesterday (Monday) for a smoothie; it was perfect in this heat! The service, like the smoothie itself, was excellent. They gave me time to choose without any pressure, and there was a wide selection of ingredients (for both milkshakes and smoothies) and products, both hot and cold! It was served quickly in a large glass. I couldn't resist tasting it before taking the picture! Even though there weren't many customers, the atmosphere was still pleasant, and the decor was great. You can sit inside in armchairs or chairs, as well as on high stools, or sit outside or in the vestibule. I came back the next day (Tuesday) to try the crepes and milkshakes. The service was the same, they gave me time to choose, and while it was busier this time, the service was still just as fast! The crepe was delicious and generously smothered in Nutella. The plate was slightly damaged, probably due to wear and tear, which I didn't particularly like, but it didn't stop me from devouring my crepe! The milkshake was good; I had the banana and white chocolate version. Perhaps it was the combination that didn't quite work for me, but I preferred yesterday's smoothie! The music wasn't too loud, but it was perfect for working while enjoying a treat. There was also Wi-Fi available. I'll definitely be back! (Probably tomorrow!) :) I highly recommend it!

30/05/2026: A warm welcome and impeccable cuisine. I've been a regular at this establishment for four years, having previously worked as a waiter. If I return with my wife, it's because we've always been so well received. I've worked with professionals, and hospitality is paramount, which is exactly what I found at this establishment.

01/09/2026: A good restaurant with reasonable prices. The menu is quite varied, and the ingredients are high quality; the dishes we tried were good. The service is particularly quick, and the servers are very responsive. This might seem a bit fast if you like to take your time, but it's a real advantage if you're on your lunch break or don't have much time. The staff is pleasant, and the service is excellent. A decent place that I recommend, especially for a quick and efficient lunch.

31/08/2026: Disappointed by the particularly greasy fries. The mayonnaise on the eggs as a starter had a bit too much mustard flavor. And the pulled pork wasn't great.

30/08/2026: A very bad experience at the Cocorico restaurant in Rouen. We were there on a Saturday evening around 8 pm, and despite the time, the restaurant was practically empty. The dining room was cold, which was really unpleasant for dining. The menu also offered very few choices, which is quite disappointing considering the prices. As for the meat, it was a huge disappointment: it was very tough, difficult to chew, and clearly undercooked. It didn't seem fresh and even looked like it might be past its expiration date. For a restaurant charging these prices, this is simply unacceptable. I had to change my order completely, for fear of getting sick. The service was absolutely not up to the price. The staff wasn't particularly customer-oriented, and despite our dissatisfaction, no compensation was offered. Yet, this is the very least one could expect in such a situation. In the end, the value for money was very poor: disappointing food, a cold dining room, a limited menu, inadequate service, and no gesture of goodwill. An experience we will not repeat and an establishment we do not recommend.

06/07/2026: I would like to sincerely thank the waitress for her warm welcome and professionalism. Despite my late arrival, she greeted me with a smile and great kindness. I enjoyed a delicious Caesar salad, served in a pleasant atmosphere. Thank you so much for this lovely welcome; I will gladly return!

13/05/2026: My husband and I had lunch here today and we won't be back. We ordered grilled andouillette sausage with mustard sauce. The andouillette was so overcooked it was black with a crust on top; it was inedible, and the owner told us it was normal, lol. He always served it like that. You should think about cleaning your grill. It's not the first time I've had grilled andouillette, and it's never been that black. Furthermore, the mustard sauce had no flavor. You should add mustard and seasoning to the sauce. It was better before, when the other owner was there. He's terrible and not at all customer-oriented. I don't recommend it; avoid it.

22/08/2026: The food is very good, Samba is very kind, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I highly recommend it!

17/08/2026: The restaurant is very well located in the old town and the food is excellent. The waiters were incredibly friendly, offering us the desserts from the next table who had left before they could enjoy them.

10/08/2026: Very good food, fast service, nice atmosphere

06/08/2026: We were seated on the terrace... The table was wobbly, the waiter had to stabilize it, and we felt like we were asking for a favor. The tablecloth was stained, a glass was chipped... The scene was set, and we should have left then and there because what followed was disastrous... We were immediately served bread and fish rillettes to appease us. Then we waited quite a while for our aperitif... Our order was taken for a "main course and dessert" set menu. The waiter didn't write it down: a fillet of pollock with coconut curry sauce. The main course was served after an interminable wait, with us being given "cocottes" (small casseroles)!?... "Coconut" sauce and "cocotte" if you're not paying attention... Why not!... So, surprise, it had nothing to do with the fish or the curry sauce. We started eating, of course. We had to try it!... The sauce was greasy and tasteless, and the fish didn't taste like fish at all. And for good reason: the waiter, having failed to note our order, served us calf's head with gribiche sauce in a casserole dish... We realized what had happened when we consulted the menu again to choose our dessert. This time, a waitress asked if everything was alright... We expressed our doubts about this dish, which we barely touched and barely touched. Another waiter came to apologize, and the one who took our order simply told us that the mistake was ours! We tasted it, so no changes were made. Then came dessert, and more waiting... We went to pay the bill, which we checked, and to our astonishment, we were charged for dishes from the menu, including a veal sweetbread at €30.50 and a dessert at €10 instead of the €26.50 set menu price. A heated argument ensued. This same gentleman kept interrupting us, insisting that we had to pay for what we ate... Okay, but first, the main course was wrong, and second, the bill was incorrect. He had a complicated explanation and even suggested we call the police. What business is it of the police?!... A real nightmare. The bottom line is we'll never go back and we'll let everyone we know about how we were treated.

15/08/2026: The pain au chocolat and croissant didn't seem fresh at 7:30 in the morning. They were flat and greasy. The bread (traditional baguette) had an undercooked crumb. I'm not a professional, just someone who appreciates good pastries and bread, and this bakery doesn't reflect what makes our fine French bakeries so special. A shame, especially in the heart of this beautiful city of Rouen…

15/08/2026: The sandwiches could make you sick. The bread is of average quality. The pastries, however, are decent.

07/08/2026: Suffice it to say, everything is done to rush you out the door, but the worst part was the food. Sorry, but the white Normandy escalope was dry, practically cooked from the day before! When we tried to explain, the waitress got offended. The goat burger was cold... tasteless... the cheese wasn't melted... In short, sloppy food, limited and oppressive service. And the hygiene? Mediocre. Oh yes, and double-check your bill; they charge for children's drinks not included in the set menu. They really need to rethink the condition of the plates.

06/08/2026: Small restaurant in the city center with a terrace on a pedestrian street, ideal for a lunch break. Quick service, very friendly staff. Simple menu, good value for money.

07/02/2026: The first floor is cramped and noisy. This Friday, February 6th, at lunchtime, there were 28 covers despite the posted capacity of 19 (a safety measure?). Cleanliness needs improvement; the cutlery was dirty. The food quality could be better. Aside from the location... a place to avoid.

28/12/2025: Excellent brasserie! Lunch for four as a family. Aperitif with a spritz, a glass of white wine, and two sodas. Two set menus (starter, main course, dessert), with a poached egg with Camembert as a starter. For the main course, chicken casserole with Maroilles cheese and homemade fries, and tarte tatin for dessert. For the children, a burger and a flank steak with homemade fries. All the dishes were delicious. Sanitation is well-maintained, and the food is both tasty and plentiful for a very reasonable price (€99.70). All this with a magnificent view of the Rouen courthouse (absolutely beautiful). Friendly and efficient service. Well done and thank you!
