01/07/2024: Très bon accueil . Une cuisine « fait maison » et une carte pas trop pléthorique. Je recommande les frites bien cuite. Le patron est très sympathique.

31/08/2024: We came on a Saturday evening to this restaurant that we have known since it opened.
Quality and quantity are unfortunately no longer there.
We were especially ill after this dinner: terrible bars in our stomachs and trips to the toilet as soon as we returned home.
We warned the manager who looked down on us.
A report was made to the DGCCRF.
The staff is not rude but expeditious.
The place is noisy but well located.
We won't come back again.

29/08/2024: Auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant sind wir beim CanCan stehen geblieben, das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unser Hund wurde nett behandelt. Das Essen hat uns dann sehr positiv überrascht und die Präsentationen der Gänge war erfrischend anders. Absolute ein toller Abend mit leckerem Essen auf der Terrasse und Blick auf das Treiben am Platz.. Empfehlenswert.

10/09/2024: Tea room in the historic center of Rouen, right in front of the side portal known as the Booksellers of Rouen Cathedral. Seats on tables and chairs are quite comfortable although the rooms on the ground floor and first floor are not very large. Huge choice of variations of tea and various cakes and biscuits. Fast and kind service. Prices normal considering the context. Paid parking nearby.
08/09/2024: Very good as far as the pastry is concerned, however the drinks are disappointing, the strawberry milk does not taste like it, because of a layer of strawberry syrup at the bottom of the glass.

09/06/2024: Saturday evening spent in this establishment, obviously after probable recent change of owner because decoration and menu different from those announced on the internet.
Layout of the room in complete white quite modest. Heartwarming welcome.
Menu composed of simple dishes, half based on fried poultry.
Disappointment with the basic, tasteless canteen-style cuisine (chicken leg without sauce with fries). At that price it's quite astonishing. Dessert small piece of tasteless cold apple pie, certainly frozen.
Despite everything, the meal was OK but the bill was rather high.

28/05/2024: Traveling through Rouen and stopped for some cappuccinos with our new friends! A bit chilly for sitting outside, but the coffee warmed us right-up!
03/04/2024: Brasserie near the station, pleasant and good.
Dish + coffee for €17 or on menu maxi €20.
New boss, very pleasant as well as the waitresses.
Very good cook in the kitchen.
Go with confidence.

14/09/2024: I have been a customer of this brasserie since the takeover by the new owner. I don't have much to say, but I simply want to highlight the epicurean, simple and authentic side of the establishment, without false note. I recommend you try the mozzarella croque-monsieur, prepared with real brioche bread, generous and delicious. Not even to mention the fries, as good as those I only taste at my grandmother's. I would like to point out that my opinion is completely objective and sincere! Thanks to the waiter, always very pleasant. Recently, this brasserie has become my canteen. See you soon !

09/09/2024: Stay here for a genuine Rouen French experience. It is an old historic building, with charming courtyard. It is wonderfully quirky. Rooms small and old but that is part of the charm. If you like anonymous chain hotels this may not be for you. But if you enjoy humanity in all its variety and splendour then enjoy here. The location in Rouen is perfect right in the heart of the old city, all major sights in easy reach. Some great restaurants close by.
08/06/2024: The room was probably the smallest, but you always make it work. The holder for the shower head was almost broken off, but at least it lasted our stay. We experienced that the room was not washed and thus towels were not changed 2/5 days. Nevertheless, it is a very cozy hotel which is very centrally located in the city and which has a lovely and old feel about it. All in all I had a nice stay.

cappucino met heel veel cacao zonder te vragen. Dus geen melkschuim want dat lost op in cacao. Zo jammer dat je dat in horeca niet begrijpt.

Servizio ai tavoli esterni ottimo.
Ottime insalate e buonissima tarte salate.
Ingredienti freschi e buoni.
Ottima scelta se passate da qui.

26/09/2024: This is a café that lives up to its name. Everything is “in its own juice”. The atmosphere is very friendly. We meet again for a timeless consumption. It’s a place that you absolutely must discover!
10/09/2024: Kind and polite like all French people, in Italy we have lost a lot of courtesy and respect for others... I had the best coffee compared to the others and it is not easy to find it good.

26/08/2024: Restaurant réputé mais vraiment pas au niveau.
La salade Paul, qui est quand même à plus de 14 € contenait beaucoup de salade, quelques tranches de chèvre cendré et quelques petits morceaux de magret de canard...pour un plat principal, c'était vraiment très juste...le poulet normand bien dur et surtout pour finir, la coupe normande avec trois petites boules de glace, l'une sur l'autre sans aucune présentation. Une honte pour un restaurant de ce niveau. A éviter. Trop touristique.

11/07/2024: Nous avons mangé 1 crepe là bas et la propriaitaire nous a très mal parlé en nous disant d'acheter + de choses. Car 1 crêpe n'étais pas assez. Puis elle parle très mal au serveur, les seuls personnes aimable dans ce ''bar à chat'' sont les chats. Mais pour un bar un chat on en voit 3 + pas le droit de les caressé car comme à dit la dame ''vous venez pour manger pas pour les chats'' ma question c'est pourquoi appelez ça un bar à chat alors ? Puis elle nous a humilié devant tout les clients en disant qu'on ''ne comprenez rien'' donc n'allez pas ici sauf si vous voulez être humilié par cette propriétaire.
31/05/2024: J'ai mis 2 étoiles pour les serveurs qui sont adorables et la déco kitch plutôt sympa .
Sinon la patronne et le patron sont plus que désagréables je ne comprends même pas qu'ils travaillent dans le commerce . Ils sont très antipathiques et nous reçoivent comme des chiens .
Effectivement c'est un bar à chat enfin c'est surtout leurs 3 chats donc pas de chat à adopter et je trouve qu'il leur manque vraiment un coin pour eux 🥺.
En tout cas ce n'est pas un endroit où je retournerai pour remplir leur portefeuille .

06/09/2024: VERY long wait for a time when there is no one. Dish that arrives after 35 minutes for a raw Tartare and a salad. It's tiny, a tartar that's the size of the circumference of the glasses, tiny, in 3 mouthfuls I finished it. Not a lot of fries. Poor quality meat, a tartare is supposed to be tender, requiring good chewing. For the sickening salad, the bacon is the same, chew well. Very expensive for what it is, I feel like I'm eating at Flunch with these portions, but unlike Flunch, the vegetables and fries are not unlimited. Oh and €4 for a 20cl coke in a glass with 5cl of ice.
