04/10/2026: We discovered wines perfectly suited to the exceptional dishes. However, due to spilled liquid during service, it should be noted that the table was not cleaned several times throughout the meal. We were also slightly disappointed with the quail dish, which lacked flavor in our opinion, as well as the sea bream. For a one-Michelin-starred restaurant, we expected more culinary discoveries. But overall, we were delighted; our taste buds appreciated the cheese tasting, the bread, and the various petits fours and other offerings.

14/08/2026: Wow. For me one of the special elements to visiting France is cafe life. Pavement coffees. The versatility of the French Cafe, where coffee expands into beer, food, good wine and culture. In Rouen there is no better cafe that the gorgeous art deco Metropole. Atmospheric, lovely coffee & food and a wonderful people watching spot as locals and tourists alike come & go from the close by station. The Croque Monsieur is superb. If you are in town this is a must sit and experience.

05/08/2026: Wednesday, August 5th, 5pm. You sit down, the waitress looks at you, you stay for 10 minutes, she doesn't come to see you... You leave!

14/10/2026: The brasserie is well located and the portions are very generous, which makes up for the price, but there's a real problem with the furniture/table layout. The tables are too close together, making it difficult to move around the booths and reach your seat.

14/10/2026: We always enjoy coming to this restaurant for lunch or dinner. The food is good, home-style, and the price is reasonable. The service and welcome are always excellent.

16/10/2026: The seats are rather mediocre. Admittedly, the prices are reasonable, but the quality reflects that. We waited 40 minutes for fries and a piece of meat; they must have forgotten about us. It would be better if they argued amongst themselves. I think they are sorely lacking in organization.

12/09/2026: Quiet place, just steps from the center; exceptional food. We had a full menu for two, with legume tart as an appetizer, vegetarian lasagna, and house cake: everything was special! Free water. All-inclusive €21 for two. Highly recommended!

14/09/2026: The food was very good, the portions were large, and the coffee was fantastic! Unfortunately, we came with a larger group (10 people), and the employee was quite surprised, making us feel unwelcome. We ordered six avocado toasts. We couldn't get the seventh because they were out of bread. We didn't arrive before closing, but only an hour and a half after opening. The wait wasn't long, but it wasn't short either. We asked about the wait time, and the waiter claimed he didn't know. Later, our order was forgotten, and we had to ask. The lack of a restroom was also disappointing. The cafe was clearly not prepared for so many people. It's understandable, but the feeling of being unwelcome stayed with us for a long time. Surely it's a good thing they're making more money...?

21/09/2026: We had a lovely evening. The service was a little slow. The restaurant's decor is very pretty. The food is good. The amuse-bouche was excellent. The starter was good but nothing extraordinary. The fish and its sauce were very good. My partner loved the French toast dessert. It was a pleasant evening.

18/10/2026: We're not huge fans of galettes, but they had a great variety and the service was quick. Despite that, they were good. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating on a charming little terrace.

03/10/2026: Horrible experience. A 45-minute wait only to be told that what we had chosen from the set menu wasn't available. So we ordered à la carte. The wine we selected wasn't available either. The waiter suggested sweetbreads. Okay, what would be served with them? His response: I don't know. Oh, by the way, sweetbreads are obviously on the set menu. So we left without dinner. What a shame.

19/10/2026: A warm welcome and simply exquisite cuisine. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, and expertly prepared. We will definitely return on our next visit to Rouen.

17/10/2026: A warm and inviting atmosphere. Pleasant and friendly staff. The food is delicious. The beef tartare is excellent. Special mention for the chocolate dessert; after that, you won't be hungry at all.

02/11/2026: Food: I ordered beef tartare with fries; the fries were cold. Service: I entered the restaurant, and the waiter (in a blue shirt) was busy with his tasks instead of attending to me… Absolutely terrible customer service… + excessively long wait for the food (40 minutes) + no smiles from the servers at the entrance
