On the other hand, calling rougail sausage a rice dish with tomato sauce, onions and some sausages when the taste has nothing to do with the real thing. I think it’s enough to turn some Reunion residents in their graves because we’re so completely off base. The service is okay. In short, we won't come back

14/08/2024: In the quiet of rue Toulouse Lautrec, a small restaurant offering fresh produce and great value for money. No-fuss, simple and relaxed welcome. A good time spent in an Albigensian restaurant which is becoming more and more rare.

27/08/2024: A little tapenade was served to us as an aperitif. I had the summer salad (the menu changes every season) for €14. Unfortunately, it was mostly green salad (of which a few rare leaves were starting to rot), a 6th of a melon, 3 or 4 cubes of watermelon, a slice of smoked ham, 2 or 3 cherry tomatoes and a piece of toast (too hard to my taste) with hot goat cheese (without honey, this had probably been poured on the salad by accident). The €4 dessert in this formula consisted of a good strawberry emulsion with whipped cream and meringue. A rather decent menu but nothing transcendent for this price (I am of Alsatian origin, my opinion may be biased) Concerning the atmosphere, we were on the terrace with a beautiful view of the Albi cathedral. The only downside is the road right next to it, fortunately not very busy.
