28/01/2026: A quick stop during a romantic weekend in Tiffauges, we chose this restaurant for Sunday lunch. The welcome was very warm and the service very pleasant. The dishes were delicious and generously portioned. Special mention for the chocolate mousse. One small drawback: on Sunday at lunchtime, there's no à la carte menu, only a set menu. This might be a bit much if you're not very hungry. But the food is so delicious that you quickly forget you're full.

23/01/2026: Starter - main course - dessert - TOP NOTCH 👌 The warm welcome quickly put us at ease with smiling and very friendly staff! ☺️ To start, I succumbed to the fresh salmon, thinly sliced ​​and beautifully presented. My wife chose a well-balanced bacon salad, with vibrant color and bold flavors. These appetizing starters quickly whetted our appetites for the rest of the meal, which unfolded perfectly: Succulent burgers accompanied by a generous portion of homemade fries, and for dessert, crème brûlée - panna cotta 🤭. Refined cuisine that immediately makes you want to come back! We will!

15/02/2026: It's a shame the seafood sauerkraut wasn't up to par. There was no sirloin steak as advertised on the menu. And no homemade fries as indicated. The wait was far too long. Very disappointed.

14/02/2026: We came today as a party of four without a reservation. The welcome was pleasant, and they had a nice menu with several choices of fish and meat dishes, including a daily special. We ordered a rib of beef, steak tartare, and pink duck breast strips at 12:45 PM. An hour later, we still hadn't been served. I asked the waitress why it was taking so long, and she gave us a rather unfriendly response: "The oven isn't expandable" or "The restaurant is full," which is unjustifiable given the long wait. An hour and a half later, our dishes arrived, all good and hot, except for the duck breast strips, which were served medium-rare but inedible, with cold mashed potatoes and a sauce that wasn't the one that was supposed to go in the dish. I asked for them to be replaced, but unfortunately, they were out of duck breast strips in the kitchen, so I had no meal. We left disappointed with our meals. I would recommend this restaurant for a group with plenty of time and a lot of patience.

13/01/2026: A lovely brewery inn with meat from their own farm. Unfortunately, only one meat dish was on offer, probably due to the time of year. The fries were typically French – soggy. The ambiance was rather hall-like, but not unpleasant. Prices were moderate and reasonable. The beer was good; the Blonde and Blanche were fresh and fruity.

28/12/2025: If you're passing through, Belgian friends, please stop by! The hamburgers are delicious, the salad is wonderful, and the beers make you want to raise a glass. A must-try, or a must-return! Second visit December 2025, still just as great.

30/12/2025: An authentic address recommended by locals; we had oysters there, they were delicious and the price was quite reasonable!

04/12/2024: 2nd time for me, I took friends, my husband for whom it is difficult to please him in the restaurant, and our 5 year old daughter and everyone was won over. Very beautiful setting, welcome and very friendly team but above all very good cuisine, starter, main course and dessert nothing was left on the plate, a very good address where you can go with your eyes closed ☺️ (We are from Sables d'Olonne and we rarely have this pleasure elsewhere)
