31/08/2024: Cette station balnéaire populaire tient une adresse qui fait le grand écart. Prix contenus, clientèle familiale, ambiance joyeuse et carte élastique. Sans concession sur la qualité, on s'en lèche les doigts! Réservation indispensable, la brasserie est réputée.

30/08/2024: Très bien accueilli, le restaurant est très agréable et les tables sont montées avec soin. Le repas que nous avons choisi était de très grande qualité et copieux. Ça fait une dizaine d'années que nous venons passer nos vacances en Vendée et nous profitons pour manger régulièrement au restaurant et "Chez Bastien" était notre 1ère fois et vraiment très contente d'y être allé et nous reviendrons l'année prochaine. Les serveurs étaient très agréables et à nos soins, et à défaut de beaucoup de restaurants "Chez Bastien" ils prennent les tickets restaurants sans maximum 👍.

30/09/2025: A wonderful discovery! We had a wonderful evening, very warmly welcomed by the co-manager. Quality service, thanks to Paco for his professionalism, who paid us a lot of attention and explained the dishes very well. We had selected the five-course menu, it was simply fantastic! And a big thank you to the Chef and his team for delighting our taste buds. I 100% recommend the place, it's very clean and tastefully decorated. 24/10/2025: I want to thank the waiter who refused to serve us two miserable beers when we were thirsty and everything was closed in the area, a mandatory holiday. It's true that we are guilty of daring to ask for drinks when we were in "service hours", understand by that that they serve food. It's true that we don't like working in this country, our bad. We criticize our neighbors a lot, but from experience, I have never been so badly received as in France. The guy dares to pretend to us about these damn service hours, and what's more he was waiting for loads of people. Poof, oh la la, at least half of Paris, suburbs included. There were 3 tables occupied, at the most. We would have stayed 20 minutes. So if the boss reads this comment, it would be good for him to remember, and to communicate to his overwhelmed waiters, that a customer received and served can not only order more than expected, but also snowball. What hospitality, it's scary to see.

26/01/2026: Lunch today, a party of four. There were about a dozen of us in the dining room, arriving at different times. We had to wait an hour and fifteen minutes for our hot meals. First, two were served, then the third, and the last person served received a cold dish 😒. So, back to the kitchen it went. We didn't understand the small chalkboard menu with only three or four choices for starters and main courses; it should have been quick! The excuse was that a new chef was getting settled in! With so few people, it was incredibly slow, and we waited even longer for dessert, which they could have just plated. Very disappointed. The food wasn't very good, but the wait was long, and there was no compensation or apology. We won't be going back. No wait for a table, but a very long wait to be served...

19/01/2026: We booked for four people for 12:00, it was 12:05 and still not open, and no one answered the phone to ask if they were opening, so we went to another restaurant.

05/09/2024: Très déçus...étions venus dans cet établissement il y a quelques années et en gardions un bon souvenir... Nous commençons par un kit pétillant pêche pas très pétillant et pas très frais(alors que l'on m'avait assuré de sa fraicheur)..même chose pour le vin blanc....les "grillons" de ris de veau baignaient dans la sauce insipide,et la pièce de bœuf était à peine tendre,avec une sauce fond brun pas savoureuse...bon point pour une farandole des desserts et l'amabilité du personnel...
