11/08/2026: Family meal outdoors. Excellent meal (set menu) and reasonable price 👌 The round table was very pleasant for conversation.

11/08/2026: We came on Saturday, August 8th, for a table of 11 on the terrace for a local event and were disappointed that the staff spoiled our evening. We had a reservation for 9:30 pm and arrived at 9:32 pm. The first words from the waitress who served us were, "Ah, we were expecting you, but not exactly eagerly." We tried to lighten the mood with a few jokes, but she didn't want to hear us and politely brushed us off. One of my friends, not having any water for his aperitif, politely asked the waitress if he could have some, and she replied, "I'll take care of it in a bit." I won't go into all the details, but I think that's enough. It's a real shame considering the beautiful setting and the quality of the food. We were thinking of promoting your restaurant because we have 150,000 followers on our social media and like to share our experiences when we visit, but I think it would be better to refrain because you don't deserve a bad review based on just one evening a year.

25/08/2026: Beware of the prices, as they are inflated with incomprehensible extras. The owner gave a convoluted explanation to justify the price increase, then the manager forced us to change tables, and finally forced me to leave under the violent threat of "not giving me time to finish my burger." Between the rudeness, bad faith, and aggression of the manager, I strongly advise against this place.

17/08/2026: Passing through Noirmoutier, we discovered La P'tite Cuisine. Fast but high-quality food, everything is homemade, right down to the burger sauce—delicious! The fries were amazing (and we're picky eaters from the North of France!!! 😅). The burgers and kebabs were top-notch! The owners are welcoming and friendly. We'll be back! 😉

13/09/2026: Note that even though the quality was there, the price didn't reflect it. We paid 70 euros for two people and left hungry. Six sardines at most, a small pot of fries for my husband. I had mussels with Roquefort cheese; the quantity and quality were fine, but the small pot of homemade fries was a bit much. The real kicker was the 1-liter plastic bottle of Evian for 6 euros, plus the carafe of wine, which wasn't cheap. A shame, because the service was decent.

05/09/2026: Excellent restaurant! The dishes (mussels) and dessert (chocolate fondant, to die for!) were perfect! The waitresses were very friendly. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to the area.

21/09/2026: We used L'Étang Moderne for our wedding reception. The team was fantastic, the organization perfect, and the food perfect! I highly recommend them, don't change a thing!

15/09/2026: Appetizing starter buffet The portions are generous And a wide selection of desserts And everything is delicious to top it all off. All for a very reasonable price of less than €15

28/08/2026: A wonderful discovery at Le Poisson Rouge! We had a delicious meal, with high-quality dishes and excellent value for money. Special mention goes to the service, which truly made all the difference: a warm welcome, smiling, attentive, and very pleasant staff from beginning to end. You immediately feel welcome, and that's rare enough to be worth highlighting. A fantastic place that we highly recommend!

28/08/2026: Not very welcoming, slightly aggressive when you speak to them, the food was good but nothing special. Personally, I wouldn't recommend it.

28/09/2026: A wonderful discovery. Thank you for the warm welcome and kindness, especially considering my husband's disability. The seafood sauerkraut and Vendée salad were very good. Just a little too much crouton and salad. There was no salmon in the sauerkraut; I assume it was replaced with haddock or another fish.

03/09/2026: I was invited to a wedding anniversary dinner. The hosts choose the menu, but I wanted to thank the restaurant manager for making the effort to inform me about the vegetarian options available for the appetizers and throughout the meal. The dishes were tasty and delicious.

24/05/2026: Why am I so enthusiastic? I spent the Pentecost weekend (Saturday and Sunday) at this establishment located on the banks of the Vendée River. If you love nature, you'll be delighted by this completely natural and unspoiled environment, listening to the birdsong: wood pigeons, domestic pigeons, golden orioles—that rare migratory bird with its distinctive call—and the countless frogs croaking in unison until the end of the night. The welcome was warm and empathetic, the room and its adjoining rooms offered simple comfort but were remarkably clean and furnished with very comfortable furniture. The food was outstanding; the dishes weren't sophisticated but were well-prepared and delicious. The appetizers are fantastic. The wines: excellent choices at very reasonable prices. The service, assisted by apprentices from the hotel school, is impeccable, presenting the dishes with the academic flair of a Michelin-starred restaurant, though with occasional minor imperfections that bring a smile to the face of a seasoned diner who, without any hint of malice, shares his experience with them, demonstrating the pedagogical skill befitting these dedicated young women who could be...his grandchildren. In conclusion: an establishment worth discovering, and "quality/price"? Nowhere else...👏👏
