16/06/2026: Having dined there twice, we chose La Sittelle for a birthday meal shared with friends in their small, intimate dining room. Everyone enjoyed the various dishes prepared by Florient and served by Floriane with discretion and precision. A big thank you; we will definitely return, as the menu changes regularly and all features homemade, garden-grown, and local produce.

16/07/2026: A very pleasant establishment, the food is excellent and beautifully presented, the welcome and staff are lovely. We came with our disabled grandmother, access is easy, and the manager was very patient and understanding; he even lent us a wheelchair – truly top-notch! I highly recommend it and will gladly return.

The flavorful and delicious dishes left a lingering bitter aftertaste. And what can I say about the waitresses… smiling, charming, and with such generous smiles! 20/05/2026: Impeccable service, however, the food was bland. The sea bass was well-served but slightly overcooked, accompanied by a saffron risotto that wasn't actually saffron—it was rice pasta—and a vegetable wok with no seasoning whatsoever, no spices, no salt, no pepper. The mussels marinière were too salty, and the broth was watery. A question about the daily special: mussels marinière or curry? Is it a two-day special? The menu was the same on Monday and Tuesday. 🤔 The lack of ambiance and character in the decor discourages lingering after the meal.

09/07/2026: A wonderful discovery, a little outside the city center. Several menus to choose from: simple fare and more gourmet options. A very friendly and welcoming staff. We'll definitely be back.

18/07/2026: I went to Central Bar to check out some new bars in the area (Cholet). I wasn't greeted by the staff, and no one even came to give me a menu or ask what I wanted to order. The waitress, a young blonde woman, seemed annoyed when I ordered a drink. She didn't smile at all, and I felt like I was interrupting her day. I'll ask the staff to have a word with her because her behavior seemed a bit haughty. Otherwise, the snacks and drinks were very good! I should also mention that the owner was very kind and attentive, contrary to what I've seen in some other reviews. 😁

02/07/2026: As always, for years, we go there whenever we're in the area. And we invite friends who are all unanimous in their praise. The setting is lovely, especially on the terrace, and the food is delicious. A restaurant perfect for friends or a romantic dinner 😻 We'll be back! Jacques and Anne-Marie

28/06/2026: A more mixed experience than before after returning to Baracoa. The starters were good in terms of flavor, however, my squid was overcooked and therefore no longer tender. The main courses were decent, but the pork lacked international flavor. The meat jus was well executed, however, we expected more originality in the recipe given the restaurant's focus. Overall, considering the prices, we found the portions far too small: the squid was very light, and the side dishes were meager, especially the tiny cube of polenta with the pork. It's a shame when you leave with a bill of almost €80 for two without having ordered dessert (including drinks). One small but significant point: the terrace really needs some background music!

10/07/2026: Nice setting, decent food, but I find it too expensive. We used to go once a week, but that's over. There are other equally good restaurants that are cheaper.

09/08/2026: For my first time, I'm very satisfied and pleasantly surprised. The place is lovely, and the prices are more than reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food. There's a wide selection on the menu, and the service is excellent—no complaints at all. A nice touch is that they offer doggy bags. I highly recommend it.
