29/06/2026: My wife and I dined at Le Haut Jardin two nights in a row, and both were evenings of exceptional cuisine. The ingredients were of the highest quality, primarily local, showcased through expert cooking techniques, boundless creativity, an explosion of flavors, unexpected yet wonderful combinations, and attentive yet friendly service. The chef's passion is truly evident in every dish. As for the accommodations, the chalets are beautifully laid out and equipped, with a private garden, a lovely terrace, and a jacuzzi. A true haven of peace, both relaxing and rejuvenating. I highly recommend it.

13/07/2026: A wine list that will make your head spin. Philippe runs the service with a master's touch, always with the right words and thoughtful touches. Stunning cuisine in an exceptional setting. Savor every step of the meal: the amuse-bouches, the appetizers, the olive bread with its semi-salted butter, the cheese trolley with its almost creaking little wheels, and the main courses, starters, and desserts. You'll fall asleep sitting up, but you'll fall asleep with a smile. Big shout-out to the table under the giant chandelier. The table to be at. You feel like the King of England, but better because it's in France. One day I went in with a migraine and left cured—no exaggeration, I promise. Unforgettable moments.

20/05/2026: We were a group of over 40 for a club event. We received a very warm welcome, enjoyed good food, and stayed in a lovely hotel with a bar, small outdoor pool, parking, and a variety of rooms. It's ideal for groups, quiet, and offered an excellent and varied breakfast.

15/04/2026: Quiet stay but uneven amenities (3/5) We had a very quiet and clean stay, which was much appreciated. However, several points need improvement: - The room and bedding: The room is spacious. While the bedding seemed comfortable the first day, we discovered a "bump" in the middle of the mattress and indentations on either side the very next day, suggesting it had been flipped just before our arrival. Furthermore, only one very flat pillow per person is insufficient. - The bathroom: Large but impractical. There is no hand shower (only a fixed rain shower head), and the shower lacks a fixed faucet for the bathtub. The absence of a shower screen or curtain floods the bathroom; a squeegee would be necessary to remove the water. Note: access is impossible with assistive devices (the door is too narrow). - Breakfast: Not very substantial in our opinion: half a baguette (small), a croissant, very little butter/jam, only one coffee, and an orange juice. Scrambled eggs are available upon request, but the rest is insufficient. Reception: Please note that there is no reception area to drop off luggage before arrival time, nor access to restrooms. In short, the hotel is quiet and clean, but the comfort of the bedding and the functionality of the amenities need improvement.

17/08/2026: Warm welcome, friendly owner, delicious food – in short, a very pleasant time spent

17/08/2026: If you're hungry, keep walking… I ordered a burger, and I got a handful of fries, while my daughter, who had a kids' meal, got twice as many fries as me! What's more, the burger bun was pre-made, toasted, and served with very little salad. In short, for €18, it's a rip-off. I asked the waitress for more fries, which she did immediately. But then, to my surprise, when it came time to pay, the fries were charged at €3. I told the owner, who said it was a generous portion—we clearly have different ideas about what constitutes a generous plate! But he did refund my €3 anyway… Another negative point: the desserts look appetizing in the display case, but when they're served, the cream has an off taste; I think they were already two or three days old. In short, avoid this place. You'll find better elsewhere!

19/06/2026: Great hotel on the lake. Wonderful! Place to stay in the summer to have a swim and to walk the tour around the lake. The rooms are really nice. I will come back again someday.

15/07/2026: It had been a while since I'd ordered, so we got two cakes for my daughter's communion. She chose what she wanted, and I wasn't a fan of her choices, but in the end, I loved the desserts. You can go there without hesitation; it's top-notch! The best in the business, without a doubt.

03/08/2026: Hello, our experience at this establishment today was particularly unpleasant. My in-laws ordered a rooster, which was very undercooked, to the point of being inedible: impossible to carve. Instead of apologizing or offering any compensation, the waitress decided to tell us that this was normal and to start a dispute. No high chairs were available. I do not recommend this establishment; disappointment guaranteed!

03/08/2026: The evening started well, as the staff did their best to seat us on the terrace despite the crowds—thank you for that! My parents ordered the rooster—you had to carve it yourself, but it was so tough that one of the two pieces was inedible. We immediately mentioned it to the waitress, but she explained that it was normal. We brought it up again at the end of the meal, but she showed no understanding whatsoever about the fact that the rooster was inedible. The rest of the meal was okay, but nothing extraordinary (tuna tataki with absolutely no Asian flavor shouldn't be called tataki at all...). In short, avoid it at all costs.

22/08/2026: The welcome was quite friendly, and the dishes were varied. I've been twice with my wife and haven't been too disappointed, but unfortunately, the same dishes were served each time. It would be better to have some side dishes like vegetables or pasta to accompany the main courses, and a bit more choice in the desserts. Otherwise, overall it's fine ☺️ (the only downside is the person at the grill is unpleasant).
