10/01/2026: We spent two nights at the Auberge du Saut des Cuves. Excellent stay, very friendly owners, very good value for money, close to the center of Gérardmer and the ski slopes. Large free parking area.

17/11/2025: I'm staying one night for work. When I booked, I was expecting a modest 2-star hotel, but it turned out to be an excellent 3-star. The hotel and restaurant were all top-notch, with friendly service. And all at a reasonable price.

We received a very warm welcome from the owner (I assume), and the cook was efficient! The restrooms were spotless—what more could you ask for? 👌👌

26/08/2025: I found this place by chance, a very pleasant discovery. The salads were really good, the sandwiches were large. The lady who served us was friendly, and the bathroom was clean.

06/01/2026: Excellent find! A charming little restaurant with a very warm and friendly welcome. You immediately feel at ease. The cuisine is traditional, but subtly enhanced and expertly prepared: flavorful, well-cooked dishes with beautiful combinations and true skill. Everything was absolutely delicious. An authentic, welcoming place where the food is excellent. We will definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant.

10/12/2024: Nice little restaurant, unfortunately if you don't have a reservation or are not part of the hotel we place you in the breakfast room.. we ate well, nothing extraordinary but overall it was good.

09/12/2025: The classic chicken was rather dry, the Émile Bonheur was better thanks to the avocado and egg. The fries were too thick, making them a bit heavy and suffocating. The restrooms weren't very clean. The waitresses were efficient and polite.

21/08/2025: I don't understand the last comment. We came a year ago and were satisfied. We came back today. A quiche as a starter, coq au vin as a main course and cream puffs for dessert. Super good quantity and quality. For 13 euros, a half for 2.50 euros and a kir for 3.50 euros. The lady is friendly. We will come back.

21/10/2025: While taking a spa treatment in La Vôge-les-Bains and celebrating our 47th wedding anniversary, a break today introduced us to this inn, which is well worth a visit. It offers excellent value for money, with welcoming staff and a friendly atmosphere, which we loved. We'll be back, and all the best.

14/09/2025: Very disappointed. I very rarely give negative reviews, but following the owner's disrespect, I can't keep quiet. Admittedly, I wasn't informed before entering, but this isn't a restaurant, but a canteen with self-service (as mentioned by a customer I knew who had finished eating). The owner gave us this information before we sat down to eat. It's also true to say that after a phone call, we were able to eat at 1:30 p.m. This is very rare in a restaurant, but more common in a canteen. So, we faced self-service (from starter to dessert), aperitif, wine, coffee, and digestif for a total of around €50 per person (we were also charged for an extra digestif...). At the end of the meal, the owner's daughter asked us if it had been okay. I said yes, except for the service (knowing that we were the ones serving, self-service is required), my dining companion added (clearing the dishes was not done properly). This same friend who came to the rescue helped an elderly person who had fallen (with the help of the owner and her daughter) to their feet (a dangerous or poorly marked stair step). The owner arrived like a fury (following our comments), showing us a very disrespectful attitude for a "wink" remark. Conclusion: Weekday restaurant for workers or anyone looking for a good price, but of average quality. I won't be going back there again under these conditions.

08/02/2026: We arrived at 4:10 PM and sat at a table in front of the bar. Thirty-five minutes later, there was still no one to take our order. I understand it was busy, but several tables that arrived after us were served before us. So, I'd say it was either a poor welcome or poor service management, especially since the waiters still had time to be grumpy.
