16/05/2026: A restaurant that doesn't look like much from the outside. But it turns out to be very cozy inside. Simple but very good food, no frills. Perfect service: a single woman expertly manages a full dining room! Very pleasant.

14/03/2026: The hosts are absolutely charming. The homemade breakfasts are hearty and delicious. The sauna offers a perfect moment of relaxation, and the property is beautifully surrounded by nature. The ski slopes are just a 10-minute drive away. A farm is only 3 minutes away, offering delicious local produce, and a beautiful lake is right next door. Lake Gérardmer is also very close. Honestly, a top-notch place!

02/06/2026: Even though the place could use a little updating, this aparthotel is ideally located, with a lovely view of the lake. The apartment was very clean, spacious, and very quiet. We would have preferred a shower instead of a bathtub. The breakfast delivered to the room was a great touch; it was perfect.

29/05/2026: First stay at the Lido, just one night with my dog, and it was very pleasant! Very clean, nice decor, and very comfortable bedding. 👌 The staff were also very friendly and accommodating because I made a mistake with my reservation. The restaurant was closed, so we were able to enjoy the peace and quiet of the beach in the evening and again in the morning when we woke up – pure bliss! Breakfast was fantastic! Having your carefully prepared little box delivered was a lovely touch; I appreciated being able to eat with that view (the oranges were delicious). The setting is really nice, and you also have access to the path around the lake. Thank you, and I look forward to coming back.

02/03/2026: A short stay at the Auberge du Saut des Cuves: simple but very clean accommodation, easily accessible and located in a quiet area, with a pleasant river below. Suitable for families, offering good value for money.

26/02/2026: A comment unrelated to the hostel's operations: My wife brought my daughter in for an urgent need to use the restroom. The woman there gave my wife a very cold reception and refused to let my daughter go ("if everyone does that, we'll never get anywhere"). While I can understand this for an adult, it's much less acceptable for a 4-year-old. I don't know what the hostel is like, but this was enough for me.

29/04/2026: We organized a meal for 29 people, with a quote stating: price per person (DRINKS INCLUDED) €40... to our surprise, at the end of the meal, we were presented with an additional bill for €80 for our wine consumption during the meal (not excessive), without an invoice, without details, and without proof of consumption... it's appalling, we won't be going back!!

18/04/2026: We arrived very early for lunch. At first, we felt like we were bothering them, but then the staff smiled and we ate on the terrace, enjoying the sunshine. Even though there wasn't a huge selection on the menu, we ate very well; the food was high quality. We had a great time overall, and I recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a place to eat.

22/02/2026: We hadn't even stepped inside before being accosted by an incredibly rude woman. No greeting, nothing, we were simply assaulted. Just enough time to explore, to dry off... in short, don't stop there if you want to have a good time on your first day of skiing.

21/02/2026: Although the restaurant is self-service, the food is very good (local dishes) and competitively priced. The setting is pleasant and decorated like a barn/chalet. A great stop in the middle of a day of skiing or hiking.

07/05/2026: We spent one night at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the room, the meal, and the breakfast. We have absolutely no complaints and highly recommend this hotel. The staff were very courteous and friendly. Well done to you all, and we look forward to returning.

15/12/2025: Simple, generous, and expertly prepared cuisine. The manager is particularly pleasant, and the service is quick and efficient. The dining room offers a calm, sometimes very peaceful atmosphere when it's not full, in a pleasant setting nonetheless.

07/05/2026: A nice little shop with products from their own garden. Small but lovely, run by a lady all by herself.

11/04/2026: I've never eaten there, what a strange idea to come when I'd just eaten there… ;) but I've always been warmly welcomed. This little slice of life on the Laxet field is wonderful. I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!
