13/07/2026: Too much quantity, not enough quality. Overall, it's acceptable, but several aspects are disappointing. For adults, the salads are far too large: this leads to a lot of waste, and the sheer volume on the plate isn't very appealing. For children, it's a shame to serve such a processed meal. Reducing the portion sizes for some to improve the quality for others would be a good idea.

18/03/2026: Despite the bartender's disparaging remarks about the slow mobility of an elderly person with a disability (suggesting next time she should come with wheels, and ranting, in shorts behind the bar, that it delayed his run and he should already be back), we had a very good meal. The presentation was excellent, the foie gras perfect, the duck cooked to perfection, and let's not forget the delicious calf's head. The service was quick and efficient, provided by Anne, our waitress, who was attentive and genuinely kind. I'm keeping the bill high, considering that management shouldn't have to suffer the consequences of its employees' actions. A lovely setting in front of the cathedral. I recommend this establishment.

14/03/2026: A sure bet in Saint-Dié! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everything was impeccable: a warm welcome and perfect service. The dishes are of high quality with excellent value for money. Special mention for the pace of service, neither too slow nor too fast. I highly recommend it!

16/05/2026: Passing through the region with our family, we received a very warm welcome for lunch. The reception was excellent, the children were very welcome and well looked after! The meals were generous and of high quality, everything was perfect!

29/03/2026: We arrived by chance and were very well received; the food is simple and good, plentiful and inexpensive, perfect for a break on the way home; however, the wine was too old (Pinot Gris) and, above all, the young waitress should tie back her hair because it literally hangs in the dishes, which is a deal-breaker; the coffee was water; yes, we could have mentioned it directly, but we didn't want to make a fuss; it's good that other tourists find it worthwhile.

18/07/2026: A timeless journey and an explosion of flavors! I hope I can find the right words to describe this fabulous moment. We had lunch outside in the garden. The setting is magnificent, Annie is warm and incredibly kind, and her cuisine is simply exceptional. Reservations are essential, and you should choose your main course at the same time, as she works alone and manages everything from start to finish, so there's no set menu. However, you can order appetizers and desserts. The ingredients are fresh, very fresh, and of the highest quality, all beautifully prepared by the chef. In short, the setting is idyllic, the cuisine sumptuous, a truly delightful experience.

21/06/2026: We went to this rather unique restaurant to celebrate a birthday. It's the kind of place you find increasingly rarely, far from tourist traps and the mass-produced junk food found in most restaurants. The owner, who runs the establishment single-handedly, is absolutely charming, and we easily forgave her for the relatively slow service, which is understandable if you want homemade food prepared to order. We were even treated to an incredibly generous amount of whipped cream, made fresh just for us, with our dessert—a real treat! Another lovely touch was the flower given to the birthday person. We wouldn't have received such a thoughtful gesture anywhere else. We ate very well in this timeless place, which should absolutely be preserved; we loved it from beginning to end. If only other restaurateurs could take note… Thank you, please don't change a thing.

Special mention for the evening meal and breakfast: fresh, delicious local products. I highly recommend it!
