15/03/2026: The place is cozy, simple, and tasteful. You feel comfortable as soon as you arrive. Not too many tables, so plenty of space between them—ah… a meal without the chatter of your neighbors! The welcome is warm and friendly; no stern-faced "Madame" here, just smiles and courtesy. As for the meal, we chose the set menu of starter, fish, meat, and dessert, but just reading the menu makes you want to come back. Served on beautiful plates, we were delighted to rediscover the true taste of food. Excellent ingredients are prepared right in front of you if you glance behind the counter. A touch of refined subtlety enhances the dish without overpowering it—it's perfect. At this price, the quality-to-price ratio is excellent. See you very soon!

17/04/2026: A lovely and delicious spot in Bordeaux, recently awarded a Bib Gourmand. The concept of sharing plates is a success. Each dish has its own unique character, and the flavors are spot on. However, while it's marketed as a wine bar, the selection of wines by the glass is limited (though the prices are very reasonable). The wine glasses aren't changed, whether it's white over red or red over rosé. A minor drawback. There are two servers: one with long, tied-back hair, very friendly, and another a bit more reserved, but still professional. A great place, highly recommended!

23/04/2026: This was my first experience at Le Chapon Fin, and we were far from disappointed. My friend and I came one evening for the six-course tasting menu with wine pairings, and we left feeling satisfied and very happy with our meal. The flavors were varied, and the pairings were perfectly chosen. The dining room wasn't too noisy, and the decor was beautiful. The servers and sommelier took excellent care of us, and the head waiter was also very pleasant! The service was well-paced, with a detailed explanation of each course and dessert. A truly wonderful experience for us; we weren't disappointed at all, and we wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. Thank you to the Chef, the Pastry Chef, and the entire team for this lovely evening.
