05/05/2024: We were always enthusiastic about the restaurant and a visit to Colmar was a must. Unfortunately this time it was a disappointment. We wanted an appetizer, a simple salad or a soup. No, it does not exist. The garden herb salad in one starter only had 2 leaves with herbs. Okay, we only ordered 2 main courses. 1× duck and 1× lamb. Since we hadn't chosen a starter, we had to wait about 80 minutes for our food. The table was booked for 7pm and the food arrived at around 8:20pm after we threatened to leave if we didn't get our food in 5 minutes. The duck was cooked souvide, there was a beetroot mash and halved small turnips. I ate it, but it lacked sophistication. My husband couldn't eat the lamb. It was coated in grains with lots of garlic. He returned the plate and we got up and left. His food was not charged. We are amateur cooks and would have prepared the food better. We will not visit the restaurant again.

29/04/2024: Colmariens having a short list of restaurants and cafes, we were surprised by both the cuisine and the service. The setting is also very pleasant, classic and warm.

05/04/2024: A very good professional meal shared at the Auberge du Hirtz. The service was impeccable as were the dishes served. In addition, we were able to share beautiful walks in the neighboring forests.

26/03/2024: Second visit to the Hirtz estate, a place full of serenity, surrounded by nature, committed to the protection of our beautiful planet. The lodge is magnificent, comfortable. You feel like you're in a cocoon. The sauna and jacuzzi on the terrace are really appreciated after a magnificent walk to the waterfall. Thank you to the whole team for the attention left in the lodge (coffee, tea) and for the beautiful bouquet of natural flowers. It is certain, a next stay is essential to recharge your batteries.

04/05/2024: Tea Time is Excellent. Everything is well worked and precise. The flavors are quite surprising I find. A very nice surprise. This is a place to recommend to all lovers of great pastries. You can also buy pastries in addition to tea time (which are not all in tea time). I also liked the fact that the chef adapted his preparations to our vegetarian diet.

03/04/2024: We had an enjoyable stay at this typical Elzas style luxury hotel.. the slightly overpriced room is nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed and bathroom facilities The breakfast was excellent with a large selection of fresh products. We had a tasty dinner in the Winstub

03/04/2024: We had an excellent meal there today. Everyone tried very hard to speak German or English to us. Super friendly! Definitely try it out! Thank you very much! We were very satisfied!

29/03/2024: An old bistro atmosphere which is very pleasant. The food is very good and the dishes are more than well stocked. I recommend not only for the setting but also for the dishes as well as the attentive staff.

06/04/2024: Sorry for this comment but I've known better!!! I would no longer move from a new village to Guebwiller for that!!! Experience a bit of noise in the room 😃 but the meal was worth it!!! To this day having eaten yesterday what a disappointment fried carp ooh the just soft potato 😟 and burnt carp mayonnaise no taste!!! As a bonus it was my birthday and in my memories just excellent carp preferred coming to Guebwiller than to the Sundgau 😕 what a disappointment!!! Put it back. YOU. In question !! I have much more delicious memories 🤐😉

01/04/2024: An absolutely wonderful place!! It is super nice and welcoming and the service is perfect, in addition to being super attentive and kind to customers. We loved it!!! We have gone to dinner there 3 times these days because we loved the location, the decoration, the food, the waiters and the owner!

29/03/2024: A very nice place with spectacular views and a very cozy atmosphere. The staff very friendly and willing to help. Please note that reservations cannot be made and the hours are quite limited (compared to Spanish hours). The food is typical Alsatian, obviously different from what the palate of someone who is not used to, but I recommend that you try.
