10/08/2026: Delicious local specialties at reasonable prices. The foie gras is highly recommended!

10/08/2026: We were looking for authentic Alsatian tarte flambée, and we found it here. It was incredibly delicious, and for me, it was like stepping into a slice of Alsace. The service and staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely eager to please every guest. We sat outside and could enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We had special requests for our drinks, and these were fulfilled without hesitation. The prices were reasonable and absolutely justified by the quality. We'll definitely be back!

20/07/2026: The service was disastrous. Either you take the phone and put the customer on hold, or you hang up and deal with them. She finally decided to do both, so naturally she asked me to repeat my order three times… I wasn't planning on having lunch here because a year ago the same nonchalant waitress burned the pizza I ordered. Unfortunately, they offered me a second chance, and I decided to give it another go. The result: an entire afternoon spent in the bathroom, and excruciating abdominal pain. Then I remembered all those damn flies landing on the pastries… I think we should call Philippe; it would be a great first episode for a bakery nightmare.

18/07/2026: Excellent homemade Liège coffee. The furniture is a bit dated, but the welcome and service are pleasant and impeccable.

29/08/2026: They forgot one of the orders, and the rest didn't arrive at the table at the same time. Furthermore, after the mistake was corrected, there was no apology.

28/08/2026: Everything very good. Good atmosphere and very good quality food. Perfect price.

19/08/2026: Today at 9:10 PM, I went to get food. I'm allergic to tomatoes with a very severe intolerance. I asked for a goat cheese panini WITHOUT TOMATOES. Trusting my colleague, I started eating, and then I vomited. My throat was swollen. There were four whole tomatoes in it. I have a photo. So, are we going to talk about taking medication and calling emergency services because of your negligence? Shameful, thank you. I don't even know if I can work tomorrow in my condition. For a stupid panini without tomatoes, what's your conscience?

22/05/2026: Nice place, open late, they make good mojitos. It's on the pedestrian street, really nice, worth a visit. Well, a few years later, I've changed my mind. There's been violence outside the bar several times, but this time I was filming when one of the bouncers actually hit me. He had just hit a friend, which is why I filmed. And, as a little joke, he added, "We don't allow you in anymore." I'm not pressing charges because I really like Philippe, but I strongly advise many people against going there.

02/08/2026: We had a very disappointing experience at James’On Pub. We asked for a table for six people, and the waiter, a blond young man, was extremely rude. He offered us the only table in direct sunlight, even though it was 33°C outside. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the pub was about 75% empty, yet he insisted that this was the only table he could offer. There was absolutely no flexibility or willingness to help. Fortunately for us, we went to the place next door and immediately found a table for six in the shade. James’On Pub lost six customers simply because of poor customer service. A little courtesy and flexibility would have made all the difference.

31/07/2026: If you're looking for Turkish cuisine in Colmar, this is the right place. It's a family-run business, the service is excellent, and I recommend it to those who miss tea.

10/06/2026: Expensive to pay for 1 croque monsieur, 1 sandwich, 1 super mini tart (€4.35) and 3 drinks for a total of €25 and change… outrageous, and the products weren't really that great either.

08/04/2026: Super busy but food was worth the wait and staff were brilliant.

29/07/2026: The tartare was very well prepared. As for the rest of the menu…overrated. Professional service and a very nice terrace. I tried it based on social media recommendations…I expected better.

28/07/2026: Was here for dinner with my family. Expected quite s lot of the place but the food was nowhere near are expectations and didn’t match the price point at all. The waiter was rather rude and too busy with other things it seemed. Around the main course we overheard a father asking to borrow the toilet for his 3-4 year old son who seemed to need a toilet rather bad. The answer was no which for us was the tipping point. Can’t recommend this place and suggest you find something better and a better price and most likely much better service.

28/08/2026: 11:45 am McDonald's is dirty, probably not cleaned since yesterday!!! 30 minutes for service 🤦‍♀️ and as usual, things were forgotten... this McDonald's is really getting worse and dirtier.

30/08/2026: Booked at 7:30 at Winstub Bartholdi in Colmar. The food was average. The service was the real problem. Almost no one spoke English, and the manager (very young, clearly out of her depth) told us that even with a reservation, we couldn't get one of the tables in the restaurant because they were "for different people." She picked up from our first sentence that we were from the Americas. Felt petty, cheap, and discriminatory. If you are from the Americas, this is not the place. Will not return, and I would not recommend it to anyone. Reservation at 7:30 at Winstub Bartholdi in Colmar. The food was average. The service, however, was the real problem. Almost no one spoke English, and the manager (very young, clearly out of her depth) told us that even with a reservation, we couldn't get one of the tables in the dining room because they were "for other people." From our first sentence, she understood from our accent that we were from the Americas. Petty, mean-spirited, and discriminatory. If you're from the Americas, this isn't the place. 13/08/2026: Excellent food with generous portions. Young and motivated staff. Beautiful interior decor with an attractive terrace behind the restaurant.

09/06/2026: Excellent! A simple and efficient welcome, very clean and lovely rooms. The restaurant offered quick service and sufficient food so you didn't need to leave the premises. I recommend it.

05/06/2026: Excellent. Quiet. Spotless room. Friendly staff. Generous breakfast. Dinner served by the chef was a delight! In short, I highly recommend it. 👍

22/08/2026: Nice little restaurant for a quick bite in the Colmar covered market. Our dishes were tasty and generous. Quick service and a very friendly waiter. Reasonable prices.

13/05/2026: Delicious and fast. A really great caterer with the option to eat in right in the heart of the covered market. The service was quick and efficient!

19/10/2025: We only had one wine and one beer, very expensive, the service was terrible, they gave us the wrong wine and it was terrible, the only good thing was the location

22/07/2026: Well, I think that if you don't know how to make a proper flan... you should avoid selling a disgusting piece of pastry for more than 5 euros a slice... the whipped cream... no taste at all... it looks like a tourist trap.

16/07/2026: The pastries are excellent, especially the apple-almond tart, the kirsch biscuit, and the cheese biscuit... However, our last visit was disastrous. We were turned away by a waitress on the pretext that the restaurant was full. These things happen, and we should have made a reservation, but there are more polite ways and a more courteous tone to use when informing loyal Colmar customers of over 30 years. Thankfully, not all the staff are so condescending.
