15/12/2024: While passing through to see the Colmar Christmas market, we stopped at this restaurant without reservation. Good welcome. The meal was good overall. Fast service. The only downside, we were quite crowded with other customers

17/08/2024: We ordered pretty much standard food of biryani, butter chicken, chicken curry and Naan, by any stretch of imagination this is not difficult indian food. Biriyani was glorified yellow rice with huge lumps of salt. This was not biryani inspired from ANY part of india. It was an absolute disgrace to be eating the dish. The butter chicken could be a substitute for dessert as it was extremely sweet, and not like authentic Indian food at all. The chicken curry was absolutely horrid and was extremely sour (it should not have been sour). Calling the paratha they gave us as "naan" would be an absolute insult to actual Punjabi food. It was thin, barely had any butter, despite us ordering butter Naan and overall did not taste or look appealing. Finally, the quantity may have been the worst thing about the place. For the price, you would expect good quality and even better quantity. However, each plate only had 3 tablespoons of food MAX. Horrible experience. Let this review be a caution to anyone who wishes to dine here in the future.

14/08/2024: We wanted to have a drink there on Monday, the first thing they did was look at us as if we weren't welcome. Hopefully we asked the lady of the house to take us outside if we wanted something to drink, she gave us the card and we went outside, we didn't want to put up with so much unpleasantness, so we put the cards on the table outside. Not to mention it was 36 degrees that day. I think you're already rich enough since we were only there. Thank you very much Satsirakaal

21/09/2024: We couldn't taste the food because we weren't served. It looked okay. After we sat down, the employee told us that we had to get up because the table needed to be cleaned. Fine in itself, although the table was not actually dirty. But the tone was immediately quite unkind and forceful. Of course it would have been nicer to ask. Anyway, there's probably a lot of annoying tourists here and it's the end of the season, so it can happen. However, when we got up, she didn't come back to actually clean the table. We then sat down again after a minute and were no longer served, while she did help other new guests. When we approached her to ask if we could order, she looked at us irritated and told us to wait a moment. We then asked if she wanted to help us, and then she got angry and indicated that she indeed did not want to help us because we did not let her clean the table (which, again, was practically clean). A single experience is of course not representative, but unfortunately we had a bad experience. 🙃

14/09/2024: La Romantica was far from romantic, with outright disrespectful and aggressive staff. We were served our food after a wait time of 1 hour at the least. When asked why the delay, the answer was promptly rude citing "you ordered a starter, hence your main course is late", which is the most absurd reply I've ever received and I have dined in over 10 different countries at countless restaurants. Instead of having an apologetic tone, the waitress (blond girl with glasses) was arrogant and disrespectful, she even swore in French, not realising that we have heard her. Apart from this horror show, the food and ambience were barely mediocre at best. Nothing worked out except the wine we had. Completely disappointed and let down by such incompetent staff.

18/12/2024: On vient pour manger de la viande et il vous propose du jambon braisé trop cuit ou du poulet au secours 😡😡 Et toilettes comme le reste pas très propre 😡

15/12/2024: Restaurant à fuir, c'est ce que nous avons fait après 1/2 d'attente pour essayer d'avoir un dessert. La cuisson des viandes n'est pas respectée. La patronne fait n'importe quoi pendant le service ( le cuistot sert en salle, la patronne fait la cuisine, la plonge débarrasse la table) bref un manque d'organisation total qui fait fuir les clients. Et en plus c'est cher.
