12/07/2026: Wow... I was with the family... five people... I met the owner of the place and his wife... a Moroccan family who make the food with all their heart... what an experience and what a taste of food... the couscous is stunning and the meat is excellently prepared... yes I would go back there and visit this restaurant... thanks to the owner for the hospitality...

25/08/2026: The wait was extremely long for a quiet weeknight, despite three people in the kitchen. It took over an hour for a simple pizza. We didn't order dessert because the wait time was just as long as it had been for the pizza when we asked. It's clear that management isn't keeping up and isn't motivating its staff.

02/08/2026: We were a group of 10, 4 adults and 6 kids. Since the minute we were checking the displayed menu, the waiter was being passive aggressive asking the kids not to touch the table before we sat down. Then while ordering the food, The same waiter wouldn’t accept one of the kids not ordering out of the group of 10. “Not hungry-not possible” she said in a passive aggressive French accent. We walked out and left of course while the older gentleman “manager/ owner” watched without even blinking. Least friendly staff and worst experience ever before even trying the food. Stay away from that place

04/06/2026: Great value for money, both cheap and delicious. I highly recommend the main ingredient, the pickled cabbage; it's really good. No reservation needed, just go at 6:30 and you're good to go.

14/08/2026: We ordered a cold buffet for adults and a hot meal for children (20 people) for a birthday party, and everything was fresh, excellent, the portions generous, and the dishes beautifully presented. Thank you again for a wonderful culinary evening that took us on a little culinary journey.

24/08/2026: Always happy to go to Subway again because they don't have them in Belgium anymore ÷) Especially the honey sandwiches and honey mustard sauce are a must, delicious together with a Teriyaki chicken ÷) Definitely get a menu then you get a delicious cookie and drink with it ÷) Very friendly service!

31/07/2026: What a disappointment! This place has become a tourist trap (we live just a few minutes' walk away). The welcome was mediocre at best, despite having booked a reservation for the "second seating." The meal was low-quality and poorly executed. The price was far too high for what you get (we ordered medium-rare, but it was rare. The dish was average in both quality and presentation). And to top it all off, the waiter added €2.50 to the bill without even asking! We've known this establishment since it opened, and this is the last time... In short, we were disappointed and we do not recommend this place.

17/07/2026: A lovely place to satisfy your ice cream cravings. In my opinion, they have the best tubs: vanilla tonka bean, chocolate sorbet, strawberry verbena, rocher style... and more. I just regret not being able to find the chocolate sorbet anymore (my favorite, which makes me travel 30 km each way!), and the saleswoman told me I can't even order it before coming to the shop... so disappointing!!

03/07/2026: Today, the store manager decided not to open the tasting area. She was overwhelmed by three customers in her store and closed the area for eating in. How clever! All those customers left disappointed. And what business acumen! Bravo, madam, I congratulate you! 🤔😈

13/08/2026: A very good restaurant in a small space. The service was friendly and respectful, explaining the dishes and answering questions.

06/08/2026: We visited A l'Echevin for lunch today as a family, and honestly, it was one of the worst dining experiences we've had in France. The service was neglectful from start to finish. Staff took time to carefully explain every dish to the table next to us, but when our food arrived, they simply put it down without a word and walked off. When clearing bread crumbs from our table, they brushed carelessly in a couple of quick swipes, leaving crumbs scattered everywhere. On top of that, flies were buzzing around our table the entire meal, and even the sign next to one of the mains was chipped and worn looking. The overall attitude and attention to detail were poor. The food was just as disappointing. The chicken was very dry, overcooked, and nearly flavourless, genuinely one of the worst chicken dishes I've ever eaten. Our ice cream had already melted into a puddle by the time it reached us, and later when I raised this with staff, all we got was "Sorry, there is nothing we can do." No replacement, no effort to fix it, they didn't care. For a restaurant that's supposedly Michelin recommended, this was a huge letdown, worse than plenty of ordinary restaurants we've eaten at. We wouldn't recommend it and won't be going back. NOT RECOMMENDED, REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE.

25/08/2026: Very disappointed with this restaurant. The staff, who were lovely, did their best to make things right, but our lunch was a terrible experience. We ate very poorly: sauerkraut with tasteless cabbage and an inedible rum baba. To top it all off, the prices are worthy of a luxury hotel. For example, the children's menu is €18 for two sausages, and desserts are €9.50… outrageous. Thank you for your gesture of goodwill when we expressed our disappointment, but please change your chef or your recipes and lower your prices.
