30/08/2024: Pizza was good. After intensively studying the menu, we ordered a Pizza Caprichosa to take away. Ultimately, 2 out of 5 ingredients (ham and mushrooms) simply weren't there, even though Caprichosa was paid for. That annoyed me. Otherwise good pizza.

This restaurant is a delicacy because the flavors and tastes are perfect...a great discovery I highly recommend

29/08/2024: If you like ceviche, please order the Tuna Ceviche with Coriander. It is simply the best ceviche I had in a long time. One our first visit in Calvi, we were late for the lunch hour and this cafe was recommended and open during this time . We ordered burgers, cold cuts and the ceviche from the interim menue, and all was great quality. When we came back to Calvi, we went here again and ordered from the regular menu. Still the same great quality. And the location is also great. Highly recommend the cafe.

25/08/2024: Terrible service, waited a long time for drinks, unfriendly service, and took half an hour to pay the bill. There are many nicer places in Calvi!!

20/08/2024: I had the €20 menu with starter, main course and dessert. As a starter I chose the salad with warm goat cheese. Good choice! For the main course I chose the grilled sardines. Also great! And for dessert, vanilla/chocolate ice cream. I'm more prepared for disappointment when it comes to ice cream in a restaurant, but not here! Today was a completely delicious lunch at a very good price. And with a view of the sea. Thank you, dear Santa Maria team!

20/08/2024: De très bon plats maison , une assiette du pêcheurs fraîche et copieuse ! Les enfants ont adorés les pizzas et les ont finis c’est une première . Une assiette forestière somptueuse avec une sauce onctueuse et du goût . L’expérience est à renouveler. Une grande tablée de 10 personnes , nous conseillons vivement. Nous sommes loin de l’attrape touriste comme les restaurants que l’ont peux trouver sur la côte .

17/08/2024: Merveilleux, un régal: plat du jour daurade au four petit légumes et riz parfumé, tartare de thon suivi d’un gâteau à la châtaigne et d’un pastissou. Extra, délicieux et très bon rapport qualité prix. Service extra. Une excellent découverte🙏🏼

25/06/2024: Free pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents. Very good value for money (2 nights with motorhome and 2 adults for less than €60). Beautiful swimming pool with slides for children. Close to the city, you can do everything on foot. We already came 2 years ago and nothing has changed. Thank you and see you soon

07/09/2024: Exceptional evening! We didn't know where to eat, Françoise the owner more or less called out to us and what luck! We had a charcuterie board for two, then a beef rib's and a fish soup. We had a blast! Corsican music in the background... It was great PS: so far this is the only restaurant where we ate real Corsican charcuterie... Thank you for your welcome

06/09/2024: At first glance, the restaurant makes a nice impression with a rustic vault inside, although this has not been confirmed. The service left a lot to be desired, you had to ask for both cutlery and water glasses. There are no tablecloths or sets. The quality of the cuisine was also very mediocre. I had a menu for €25, which included a thin slice of wild boar terrine with a hard and dried sprig of fennel and hard bread, then two thin slices of roast veal with a spoonful of potato casserole and fig sauce. Apparently everything was pre-cooked. At the end there were three approximately 5 mm thin and 5 cm large slices of a cake drowned in instant vanilla sauce, which was supposed to be chestnut cake, which, however, was not understandable. My wife only ordered chestnut soup, which was OK, but she no longer wanted another course. The soup, consisting of a rather small plate with some bread, cost €15. The crowning glory was a liqueur, which was charged at an outrageous €10. Not recommended.

12/09/2024: Solicitation in front of the restaurant...Not great, starter served at the same time as the aperitif, mediocre and lukewarm fish soup, tasteless mussels marinière, no smile from the staff, when paying the bill not a thank you, no good evening , in short...the perfect tourist trap. TO AVOID

07/09/2024: Food is not outstanding, but okay (tuna steak and children's menu with chicken sticks and rice). Tables are very close together, so waiters sometimes only got to our table via detours. Good view of the harbor.
