31/03/2026: An excellent experience at El Rincon Chileno in Toulouse. I was won over by the beef empanadas, which were flavorful and generous. The waiter, Carlos, added a friendly touch with his helpful recommendations. The colorful and typically Chilean decor immediately immerses you in the atmosphere of South America. You travel from the very first bite. A welcoming place that I wholeheartedly recommend to lovers of authentic cuisine.

I've been away from my homeland for over four years, and the moment I stepped inside, it felt like home. A familiar aroma of lovingly prepared food, a warm atmosphere, and exceptional service—I mean, the staff were attentive, thoughtful, and incredibly kind. A place that transports you back to the places you hold dear. The empanadas are a classic, the ceviche a delightful surprise, the pebre a must-try, and above all, the discada—simply superb. There's a reason it's the most renowned and oldest restaurant in the area. It's become my go-to spot in Toulouse.

31/05/2026: A small restaurant that seemed nice at first, but we were disappointed by the quality of the food and the atmosphere, with its dated furniture. The waiter gave a good presentation, and the prices were reasonable, which encouraged us to go in. However, the quality of the ingredients was lacking; the meat was barely fresh, the aligot had a strange taste, and only the fries were homemade and good. As for the furniture, the vinyl tablecloth had a large hole in it; I was even afraid the table might collapse because of the legs, but it was securely attached. The waiter assured me it was fine. The service was good, being quite responsive. We didn't stay for dessert because we were disappointed.

28/05/2026: We came for lunch, and the service was super fast and the waiter very pleasant. We ate fresh produce and homemade dishes, so it was perfect for a hot May day.

Professionalism is guaranteed, and the food is really great. I've been coming here for over 25 years; the atmosphere is always fantastic. I highly recommend this place for after-work drinks or lively evenings. I would even recommend it in Montpellier, where I've lived for 15 years.

25/05/2026: The ice creams offered by this artisan are very refreshing. I recommend them during periods of intense heat. The vanilla scoop was excellent, but I was less impressed with the matcha.

11/04/2026: The all-you-can-eat foie gras was a disappointment for everyone. It was more like foie gras butter, and no one even had seconds. A shame, because everything else was excellent; the charcuterie and main dishes were very good. The duck heart and duck breast skewers are highly recommended.

22/04/2026: I've been coming here for years, and unfortunately, it's always the same story. The waiters are unpleasant, grumpy, and overwhelmed! I'm constantly having to correct them, especially regarding politeness and customer service. This is particularly true of the older waiter with glasses. For example, when I arrived at a table to sit down, the waiter cleared the first table instead of the second, seated some ladies, and served them before me, even though I was the first one there. I politely asked him to clear the second table if possible, since he wasn't doing anything at that moment, but he responded in a condescending tone. It's a real shame for a place like this, which would be so much more pleasant with smiling waiters who actually enjoy their work.

12/04/2026: We came for drinks with friends, but were repeatedly disturbed by the waitresses who acted like vultures, jumping onto our table as soon as we'd finished our last sip to grab our glasses. This happened multiple times, even though there were no other customers and therefore no need to collect each glass instantly.
