26/07/2026: We stopped by to watch a World Cup match and got lucky with an outdoor table that had a clear view of the large TV. Despite being incredibly busy, the staff managed the crowd beautifully and served our glasses of rosé quickly. Unfortunately, the kitchen had already closed, so we missed out on trying their delicious-looking food. They host regular events like trivia, so it's worth checking their online calendar. Bonus: they also take reservations online!

26/07/2026: We came this evening for an aperitif and a drink. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The welcome was very cold, and despite being seated, no server came to take our order or even ask if we wanted anything. After waiting for 15 minutes without any attention whatsoever, we decided to leave. It's a shame, because the setting seemed pleasant, but the service was really subpar.

06/08/2026: Let yourself be pampered at this restaurant with the theme "Our Little Farm." - Great atmosphere (we sat "outside" under the completely enclosed awnings when it rained). - Delicious food (recommendation: tomato carpaccio! Pluma de Cochon! Red Heaven dessert!) - Excellent, attentive, multilingual service Highly recommended and worth every penny!

27/06/2026: This is a dream bar where you can load money onto a card and pour yourself as much beer as you like, in 1cl increments. You can choose from about 10 different European beers, pour yourself a little, and if you like it, you can pour a lot more, which is incredibly convenient. I still have some balance left on my card this year, so I want to use it next year.

20/08/2026: We really liked the place. Especially the service; we were served by the waitress Manon, who was lovely and spoke Spanish.

20/08/2026: We came for a romantic raclette with our dog and received a wonderful welcome… pets are welcome, which was a huge plus for us… we ate upstairs and it was great, thank you so much! We highly recommend this restaurant. See you soon!

22/07/2026: We ordered two pizzas to go: Sweet Sweet and Little Italy. We've never eaten a pizza as good as the Sweet Sweet!

22/07/2026: We very much enjoyed lunch at L'Equisse. We had, respectively, the three and four course set menus for midweek lunch, which are good value. Rather oddly, you're not told what the courses actually are until they arrive, though you can choose meat or fish, and they screen rigourously for allergies. The food was tasty, fresh, and made inventive use of seasonal ingredients. There's a good, very affordable list of aperitifs and wines. Service is friendly and prompt and staff speak English. We found the three course menu was pretty filling when you factor in the pre and post meal amuses bouches; I'm not sure we could have handled the six course menu, let alone the nine (from fellow diners it didn't seem like the course sizes were reduced in any way). The only slight let down was the very hushed atmosphere, a bit like eating in a library. Good for a very quiet intimate conversation, but not very lively or convivial. Still, the food and service would certainly draw us back.

21/07/2026: We took the 6 course which was plenty of food. Delicious, vibrant, full of taste, not pretentious and yet fun and creative. It’s not our first time in a 1-star and we thought they deserve it.

30/10/2025: Overall, the food is quite good. However, the prices are high for this type of cuisine. A croziflette made with 50% cream isn't exceptional, and meat cooked medium instead of rare isn't ideal either. Regarding the service, there are areas for improvement. Responding with a simple "yes" doesn't give a very professional impression, especially considering the price. Furthermore, the welcome leaves much to be desired: no one shows us to our table; we have to find our own seats. There's no drinks menu, which makes the prices a mystery until the bill arrives. For example, €3.40 for a simple syrup is quite surprising. The ambiance, meanwhile, is limited: only two high tables with chairs that are too small, making it uncomfortable to eat. The tables are also too small, further complicating the experience. If the dishes were offered at €10, I wouldn't have anything to complain about, but at that price, it's excessive.

16/10/2025: Very good food. Two friendly people. Fast service. Just a little cold inside because the door remains open for their terrace service. We weren't upstairs. Good time. We had a great time.

25/07/2026: The welcome was unusual but friendly if you're not too rough around the edges! The food was good and the place very welcoming. However, the charcuterie/cheese sharing platter was a bit of a letdown. There were four of us, and not enough slices for four people, which was a shame as we had to go without to leave some for the others. And considering the price, I think they could easily have added more...

25/07/2026: We visited here for lunch while exploring Annecy. The staff spoke mostly French, which was perfectly fine because we were able to get by in French, but I imagine it could be a little more challenging if you only speak English. The food was good, although the portions were a bit small for the price. That said, I think that's fairly typical for restaurants along the main tourist streets. We ordered two open-faced sandwiches, and both were very good. As we were finishing our meal, we noticed other tables ordering charcuterie boards, and they looked incredible. In retrospect, I think we would have enjoyed ordering one of those instead. The restaurant is located right beside the market, and they also have affiliated stalls out front selling what appeared to be their own cheeses and meats. Overall, it was a good experience. I just wish we had ordered something different.
