Les meilleurs restaurants en Annecy

28/09/2024: Excellent ice cream parlor located on one of the most touristy streets in old Annecy. We came several times in the middle of the afternoon, no wait, and the staff was pleasant. Pistachio, organic vanilla, and salted butter caramel… top notch! There are a few tables outside where you can sit and eat (but no toilets available to customers).

15/09/2024: BE CAREFUL (today anyway) the lemon had a very bad taste, my whole family tasted my ice cream and the raspberry lemon had a real problem we had to throw the ice cream away. I wanted to call to warn but couldn't, we hope we don't get sick. Damage.

03/06/2024: Digne d'un "chef", excellent à tous niveaux. "Vivons heureux, vivons cachés" ! Ce restaurant est un petit trésor hors des quartiers touristiques.

26/08/2024: We ate here randomly when passing through in the winter of 2018 and loved it. So this past week when we returned to see Annecy in the summer, we searched until we found it. We again loved the atmosphere, service, and food. I had a great fennel and quinoa salad and my wife got a unique double chicken burger. We both savored every bite. I don’t know if we’ll make it to Annecy a third time. But if we do, we’ll eat here again.

30/09/2024: I’m Indian and after traveling in France for three weeks, my husband and I were missing some home cooking so I came upon this place which I accidentally stumbled upon while heading for a massage appointment. We looked at their menu and decided we would come back that evening when they opened. We arrived at about 7:10 pm and they were able to seat us even though we didn’t have a reservation. Oh my gosh….the best part of our day. The food was delicious, and finding a good Indian restaurant is always hard for us when we are used to good traditional cooking. We had Butter Chicken, Lamb Vindaloo, and onion and chili naan. I wanted to go back on Monday, our last day in Annecy, but discovered it was closed. So glad we tried this place. One of the most memorable restaurants on this trip so far!

22/09/2024: We had the chicken korma and lamb madras. The best Indian food we’ve had in France! Great atmosphere, the staff were incredibly friendly and the food was amazing!

12/09/2024: Nice atmosphere and a reasonable selection of beers to choose from where you pour yourself a beer. It works by asking for a card and loading money onto it. Only thing we didn't like is that if you have any balance left on your card when you're finished, the staff will refuse to refund it to you and simply advise you to come back another day or drink more; this wasn't advised to us before we loaded money on the card and we felt this was a bit cheeky.

10/09/2024: The best beer bar in the country. The menu is free and without time limit, you are spoiled for choice in craft beers and you choose the dose. Each customer is received as they should be, as a good Savoyard: free and independent. Arvi pâ!

30/08/2024: Extraordinary, this is the title I could give to this establishment. While passing through Annecy, it was by pure chance that we came across this very beautiful restaurant, the food is very good and the owner helps to make the moment exceptional.

25/08/2024: Great discovery, small family restaurant, very nice with simple but excellent traditional cuisine. The service, the food, everything was perfect.

08/09/2024: So the server Alex, AWESOME! But the food……. We ordered a Savoyard fondue, the cook changed the cheese 3 times but nothing helped, the fondue was thick. A little disappointed.. But thank you anyway for the gesture

08/09/2024: Shocking restaurant. Food below average and the owner is rude and ignorant. How he works in hospitality is beyond us. Not a nice person at all. Best advice would be to walk straight past. There are plenty of fabulous restaurants nearby with a far better attitude to paying customers. Needless to say no tip was left.

07/09/2024: We went there around 3 pm and were just looking for a kid pizza for my daughter and a cappuccino for myself. The waitress didn’t quite seem to like it that we didn’t place a bigger order. She took our order. After a minute or so she came back and quite sternly asked me to remove my personal water bottle from the table as it was “against restaurant’s policy”. It was a standard 500ml water bottle. We asked her to not bother our order then and that we can go somewhere else. I came out and too a picture of the restaurant, so I could record the restaurant name. It was then, the restaurant owner came charging towards me with a clear intent to intimidate me. He brought along the same waitress to help translate between French and English. He asked me how dare I take a photo of his restaurant. I told him this is so I leave a review of my experience. He said few things in French and continued to try to physically intimidate me with his body language; as if he is going to strike me at any moment. My daughter and I just walked away. The owner is clearly a goon.

05/09/2024: Good cooking. Quite shameful, however, to ask your customers to give up their place to the next ones in such an unpleasant way!

04/09/2024: A treat, every time. Everything is fresh, cooked with passion and pleasure. The dishes are all as good as each other. Authentic cuisine, with authentic flavors. The decoration transports us to India, while remaining discreet. The service is pleasant and the staff smiling. A restaurant like few you find. THANKS !
