15/06/2026: What a stroke of luck to have stumbled upon Granny Smith, a truly unique vegan restaurant in Annecy! From the very first bite, we knew we'd found a hidden gem. Chef Maëva is simply remarkable: every day she creates a new dish, and it's always a delight. We eagerly await our return, curious to discover what she'll have come up with next. Her creativity never falters, and each plate is a delightful little surprise. The service is on par with the food. Dardani and Valérie welcomed us with exemplary kindness and attentiveness—warm, caring, and always smiling. They contribute enormously to the restaurant's convivial atmosphere. If you're looking for inventive, flavorful, and surprising vegan cuisine, look no further: Granny Smith is a must-try. A huge thank you to the entire team!

07/12/2025: The food was simple and good, but I was very surprised to see this restaurant has a 5-star rating… I felt uncomfortable from beginning to end. Between the "shoulder massages" and the homophobic, sexist, and racist remarks from the owner, whom I thank for leaving us with such a wonderful impression of this place we will not be returning to. You can laugh about anything, but not with just anyone. A word to the wise.

07/12/2025: We came to eat as a family, and it was a very unpleasant experience. The owner, I presume, was intrusive from beginning to end. We had barely sat down when he started massaging my brother's and father's shoulders. He inserted himself into all our conversations, sat at our table to chat with us, addressed us informally, and made homophobic remarks toward my uncles. He spoke to his colleagues without any restraint, shouting across the room; even the youngest employee seemed embarrassed for us. He was making a spectacle of himself; it was impossible to eat in peace. We were very uncomfortable and hurt by his remarks. He tried to apologize, but we sensed no sincerity. Judging by other negative reviews, we're not the only ones complaining about this kind of behavior.

16/05/2026: The servers and atmosphere were very friendly. However, the quality and quantity were lacking. The sausage was very greasy and didn't taste very good. The crozets were good, but there wasn't enough of them. Three-quarters of the chai latte was foam. The price is therefore high.

20/05/2026: We chose the three-course tasting menu, and the surprises were excellent, from the cabbage dishes to the veal and chard creations, and the chocolate dessert. The petit fours were also delightful. The textures and cooking were perfectly executed. We received a very warm welcome from the hostess and the attentive young waitress.

30/10/2025: Overall, the food is quite good. However, the prices are high for this type of cuisine. A croziflette made with 50% cream isn't exceptional, and meat cooked medium instead of rare isn't ideal either. Regarding the service, there are areas for improvement. Responding with a simple "yes" doesn't give a very professional impression, especially considering the price. Furthermore, the welcome leaves much to be desired: no one shows us to our table; we have to find our own seats. There's no drinks menu, which makes the prices a mystery until the bill arrives. For example, €3.40 for a simple syrup is quite surprising. The ambiance, meanwhile, is limited: only two high tables with chairs that are too small, making it uncomfortable to eat. The tables are also too small, further complicating the experience. If the dishes were offered at €10, I wouldn't have anything to complain about, but at that price, it's excessive.

16/10/2025: Very good food. Two friendly people. Fast service. Just a little cold inside because the door remains open for their terrace service. We weren't upstairs. Good time. We had a great time.
