07/10/2024: I discovered this place and really enjoyed the cozy place under archaeological vaults under subdued light, very few people [unfortunately], very friendly atmosphere where I was able to get to know the manager of the place by singing together a few songs. Affordable prices for drinks...I would go back and bring some nice people there. Gipsy.

25/09/2024: Sweetbreads to avoid. The plate looks like an industrial garnish for a bite to eat. At 30 euros per plate, the cook didn't bother, including the gratin dauphinois. No taste for either of them. It's a canteen dish for 8 euros.

12/09/2024: To all young parents, don't bother going there after 9 p.m. with baby in the stroller/young child, to have a good evening with friends, because "there can be very drunk people". That is to say that completely drunk people in a place that wants to be, basically, family, are privileged over a family. Yet these are the people who have no right to be in this kind of place. Very disappointed with the policy of this bowling alley, we nevertheless liked to come there regularly.

12/09/2024: 31 août 2024 au déjeuner : quelle est cette fantaisie à perdre son temps en demandant les prénoms de chaque personne, une nouveauté non encore expérimentée, inutile dont nous nous serions bien dispensés car, cela n'apporte rien à la qualité du menu, inexistante. Beaucoup de blabla & de perte de temps, pour nous expliquer comment son buffet fonctionne (comme si nous ne connaissions pas ce genre de pratique). Les explications : "fait par moi", "pas fait par moi" ne rassure pas spécialement, principalement lorsque l'on est allés se servir au buffet : l'hygiène laisse plus qu'à désirer !!!!! aucune protection, ni fermeture pour éviter d'éventuelles projections ou autres mouches, insectes venir s'y déposer. Tout est dans la discussion, le concret est tout autre, la qualité, la présentation des ingrédients ne sont pas à la hauteur des prix pratiqués. A EVITER A TOUT PRIX, NE SURTOUT PAS S'ARRETER A L'ESCALE GOURMANDE, nom très ronflant n'ayant RIEN DE GOURMAND. LES SERVICES D'HYGIENE SONT-ILS VENIR Y FAIRE UN TOUR ?

06/09/2024: Excellent accueil ! Mention spéciale pour le filet de sole avec crabe, agrémenté d'une excellente sauce. Poulet-frites au top ! Très bon rapport qualité-prix, en tenant compte des buffets entrées et desserts à volonté.

23/09/2024: A cup of green tea for four euros, a cold service with a waiter with his headphones on while we spoke with him. Responds to his messages in front of us calmly. Very nice decor but you really could do better in terms of service. A very cute dog by the way

22/06/2024: Excessive and not very transparent prices! The chocolates are priced at €90/kg (an already high price) but we were charged more than €30 for the 250g box instead of €22.50. Added to these questionable practices are the unpleasant responses from the saleswoman. This is the last time we visit this address with its largely overrated reputation.

20/06/2024: Superb patisserie on the main street. Tea room with a few tables inside and an outdoor terrace on sunny days. Delicious and numerous cakes and pastries, very good hot drinks including an excellent thick and tasty hot chocolate. From the choice and originality, we feel that the pastry chef is at the same time passionate, inspired and gifted; a true artist! A temple of gluttony! We looooved it!

01/08/2024: De passage entre Niort et Clermont-Ferrand ne pas hésiter à sortir des grands axes. Ce restaurant vaut le détour, repas à 22.50 : entrée plat fromage dessert café le rapport qualité-prix est largement au rendez-vous de plus tout est fait maison. Accueil très sympathique et chaleureux
