Tous les sens étaient en extase La quantité est parfaite ce qui fait que les plats s’enchaînent bien Restera un très beau souvenir

03/08/2024: Nous avons été hébergés dans une chambre dite “luxe terrasse” très calme, bien isolée et climatisée, avec une originale tenture aux murs, de belles dalles de pierre au sol, avec une très spacieuse salle de bains de facture récente, aux couleurs douces et à l’équipement moderne très fonctionnel. La terrasse de la chambre à proximité de grands arbres du parc est spacieuse, bien équipée mais un peu trop d’éclairage électrique éblouissant de nuit. La piscine est de belle dimension, très propre, peu d' ombre naturelle l'après-midi où nous y étions mais avec parasols. Agrément d'un petit-déjeuner aux produits bien choisis avec belle perspective sur le parc et l'étang. Un bémol : les croissants pourraient être meilleurs s mais il est très rare d'en trouver d'excellents comme ceux de l'hôtel "Les Hauts de Loire" à Veuzain sur Loire. Dîner au restaurant extérieur couvert d'architecture originale, assises confortables, le “Jardin extraordinaire” : nous avons apprécié que l’équipe accepte notre requête d’interrompre une sono tonitruante. Dégustation de deux plats originaux très réussis: “L”aubergine- souvenir d’orient” et “Le lapin - pressé de lapin, citron confit”. L’ile flottante était gouteuse bien que sans originalité. Nous avons pu facilement recharger notre véhicule électrique sur le parking de l'hôtel.

22/06/2024: Excessive and not very transparent prices! The chocolates are priced at €90/kg (an already high price) but we were charged more than €30 for the 250g box instead of €22.50. Added to these questionable practices are the unpleasant responses from the saleswoman. This is the last time we visit this address with its largely overrated reputation.

20/06/2024: Superb patisserie on the main street. Tea room with a few tables inside and an outdoor terrace on sunny days. Delicious and numerous cakes and pastries, very good hot drinks including an excellent thick and tasty hot chocolate. From the choice and originality, we feel that the pastry chef is at the same time passionate, inspired and gifted; a true artist! A temple of gluttony! We looooved it!

30/08/2024: This place is simple but fine. A buffet style start and desert with a choice of plat de Jeur to go with it. 16,19 & 25€. I had a steak, it was fine. The owner is nice and friendly.

23/08/2024: We have just moved to Bessines and we are wondering why bother going to Limoges when we have such a good restaurant 5 minutes from home! We had starter/main course/dessert. The meat was succulent, the sauces the same. The tartare was a bit too spicy but otherwise it was really great! Nothing to complain about!

28/06/2024: Repas très décevant, nous avons été malades tous les deux, mon mari et moi. Menus à 47 euros. Pour moi : Le foie gras coeur framboise était un "peu" mou et pas très gouteux, le pavé de veau laqué au miel et noisettes torréfiées, très sec, aucun gout. Pour mon mari : pastilla de ris de veau et entrecôte. Tout de même bizarre d'avoir été malades tous les deux sans avoir les mêmes plats. C'était nettement mieux avant les nouveaux propriétaires. Ils ne nous reverront pas.

27/09/2024: Clean and pleasant bowling. Many choices of arcade games. A little more bowling ball wouldn't be amiss!

12/09/2024: To all young parents, don't bother going there after 9 p.m. with baby in the stroller/young child, to have a good evening with friends, because "there can be very drunk people". That is to say that completely drunk people in a place that wants to be, basically, family, are privileged over a family. Yet these are the people who have no right to be in this kind of place. Very disappointed with the policy of this bowling alley, we nevertheless liked to come there regularly.
