29/04/2026: We often order through Uber Eats and it's always a great experience. In my opinion, the buffet offers the best sushi in Limoges. The recipes are varied, carefully prepared, and original, with truly unique and distinctive flavors. The quality is consistent, even with delivery, which is a real plus.

05/04/2026: We went to this all-you-can-eat restaurant and found caterpillars in our salad and several midges, some still alive. Several of my friends and I experienced severe stomach pains, nausea, and general malaise after the meal. The staff offered a 10% discount and lollipops, which is clearly unacceptable given such a serious hygiene issue. I strongly advise against this establishment until stricter hygiene measures are implemented.

04/10/2025: Never been to this restaurant. Tried it on Monday evening, August 4, 2025, and it was a complete disaster. There were four adults and two children. The children were served food they usually like and order. Each of us had to choose items that looked edible while trying to vary our choices to try different things. Personally, I like to start with fish, shellfish, and crustaceans with a little something on the side. I ordered some fish, a few shrimp, and two mussels, but without any side dishes because none were available. The fish and shrimp were good, but I'm glad I only ordered two mussels because they were completely tasteless. They must have been steamed or boiled with nothing else, so no salt, no pepper, nothing... I then ordered some charcuterie. "Little" meant very little choice and very few side dishes. I moved on to the main courses where I didn't find the variety usually offered in this type of restaurant, and the same went for the side dishes. I don't usually go for dessert, but given how little I'd eaten, I went to help myself, to, as they say, "fill my empty stomach." Well, I left with an empty stomach. The other three adults were just as disappointed and critical as I was. In short, WE understood why it wasn't crowded. Add to that the fact that the staff lacked everything a restaurant staff should be, and you'll understand our criticism. The reason I gave it two out of five stars is to get a reaction from you. Only the aperitif was good.

12/05/2026: A terrible lunch. Barely inside, I had to wait over 10 minutes for one of the four servers to come out of the bar and come to my table. I didn't even order a drink. Is there any logic to charging €18 for a beef tartare you buy at the supermarket, slightly improved and served with a few fries? A chocolate mousse that looks like cream costs €6, a disgusting coffee is €1.60, and a Pepsi is €4.50. This means I ate some truly unacceptable and disgusting food with appalling, unprofessional service for an exorbitant price (€29.30). 👎👎👎

09/05/2026: I was very happy with my chesseb; the cooking was perfect, the salad well-seasoned, and the welcome wonderful. I arrived alone and felt like I was part of their team. I highly recommend this establishment! (Especially the young waiter in the dining room in the evening.)

24/04/2026: I placed an order and I didn't receive anything I ordered, and it's not the first time.

21/02/2026: DECEMBER 2025: We stopped for a break on our journey. We simply enjoyed an excellent Americano coffee and a pastry. It's a shame that newspapers weren't available for customers in the bar. WELCOME: Warm. ATMOGRAPHY: You immediately feel at ease here. It's even hard to get going again.

19/12/2025: A very pleasant surprise, excellent welcome, comfortable rooms and a British atmosphere in the bar where we enjoyed delicious tapas made with local produce. I highly recommend it.

11/05/2026: Probably the best chicken sandwich ever with so many flavours added. Leave room for one of their tempting cakes. Turned a simple lunch in to something amazing. Dog friendly too

24/04/2026: Avoid at all costs... I ordered a slice of custard tart, a donut, and two drinks to eat in. The tart was in a refrigerated display case, but under a spotlight, so it wasn't fresh, and the donut wasn't any better. The drinks weren't very cold either. I mentioned it to the person who went to check, and they just said, "Oh, okay," and that was it. An employee, I think the manager, was sitting near us and heard everything but didn't lift a finger, too busy on social media... Shameful considering the price we paid...

12/12/2025: Cheap grenadine diabolo is great!

30/11/2025: A friend of mine was discriminated against because of his disability. Despite about ten other customers, a waiter refused to let him sit down, even though his disability prevents him from standing. He wrote a review denouncing the waiter's behavior but was intimidated by the bar staff into removing it. Such actions are unforgivable.

09/06/2026: Wanted to try some local food in a nice location. The dauphinoise potatoes were amazing. Beef bourguignon was also delicious. Made a slight mistake getting the duck rare and I think my taste would have preferred it more well done. But overall happy with the food and service. Atmosphere seems local with lots of people sitting out for drinks- 7pm seemed too early to eat food compared to most of the locals ?

I'm always warmly welcomed with a smile, and the food is good and fresh. And it's not expensive at all. I highly recommend it. If you want to eat well, have a good time, and enjoy a pleasant atmosphere, stop by.

16/05/2026: We received a very warm welcome at this hotel, which has beautifully decorated and clean rooms overlooking the village lake; the beds are very comfortable. Our dog even had his own little rug! Special mention goes to the breakfast buffet, which offered excellent products, a good selection of sweet and savory options, and owners who were incredibly attentive to their guests!

30/05/2026: I love Jean Burger! Sure, it's a bit pricey, but you'll never be disappointed. It's hearty and appetizing, with Limousin beef, and I think the bread is locally made too—I'm all for it. It's worth the price. Don't trust the website; they put the bun on the side of the burger to give it an artistic presentation—it doesn't really work from a marketing standpoint (at least not for me). And the filters... oh my, a true love affair! Thank you so much! <3 The waitresses are so kind!
