28/07/2026: I've visited exhibitions, fairs, museums, attended premieres, but this was such a disappointment. Walking around the island, you come across works made of granite blocks erected like menhirs (which is to say, others had done better a few thousand years before), or piled one on top of the other with explanations about the work straight out of a tortured brain under the influence of ecstasy. One can also see a work visible only from the sky (perhaps a pale imitation of the Aztec drawings of Nazca—again, how unoriginal!), and the highlight being perhaps a mound of excavated earth meant to be art (by that logic, all farmers and bulldozer drivers are great artists. Who are they kidding? Taxpayers who paid for this insult to real artists with their taxes? Tourists who came looking for a bit of culture? Apart from the International Art Center building, where one can admire some worthwhile works, everything else is meaningless.

28/04/2026: A lovely overnight stay on my birthday. Friendly and welcoming staff. The courtyard-facing room was very quiet, and the breakfast buffet was good. Great restaurant. Thank you for the thoughtful touch with dessert!

20/06/2026: Tasting the Vézère beer was very pleasant, several varieties and non-alcoholic options, also lemon soda, all organic, too bad we couldn't visit the brewery, only the buses.

14/06/2026: We went for coffee on Saturday, June 13th, around 11:00 AM. We asked the waitress to seat us on the terrace, but she told us it wasn't possible at that hour, that it was reserved for meals (11:00 AM on Saturdays...). She asked us to sit in the conservatory, which was less pleasant, but fine. This same waitress then went back and forth, passing within centimeters of us for almost 20 minutes without asking what we wanted to order! Is this a business?! In any case, their politeness and courtesy were extremely poor! We ourselves own four companies, and customer satisfaction is our top priority! It's fundamental! Customers are what keep us in business! A word to the wise!

30/03/2026: It's time to consider renovations at the Paul bakery in downtown Pau. It's noisy, dirty, one toilet is out of order... not to mention the dust that accumulates. Compared to Feuillette, Paul is no longer living up to its ambitions. It's a shame because the staff is very friendly and the products are still delicious, but please think of your customers.

Considering the price, they're not doing this to take advantage of the situation, but to offer a service with genuine kindness. 18/07/2026: Average service: We arrived at 12:15 for a drink, and the waitress rudely informed us that we couldn't stay as lunchtime was approaching. We were served 10 minutes later, and then reminded that we needed to hurry up and leave! This establishment is not recommended.

23/07/2026: Les Artistes has practically become a Limoges institution! Their dishes are generous and delicious, with truly excellent homemade fries, and a wide selection of main courses and desserts where everything is genuinely good. It's the perfect place for lunch and dinner. The staff is lovely and full of good jokes, and I've rarely experienced a problem with the service. The location isn't the best in Limoges, and the restaurant offers misting under their tents in hot weather, which I didn't particularly like as it made the air feel stuffy. Fortunately, the servers were very friendly and moved us to another table without any fuss!

The service is always pleasant, and the friendly staff makes you feel right at home. It's also ideal for a romantic dinner. The food is delicious, with generous portions and a variety of options. Excellent value for money; I highly recommend it and will definitely return! 👍🏻 Thank you again for the adjustments made following our discussions about my food allergies. Don't hesitate to let the restaurant know in advance so you too can enjoy the chef's talents despite any dietary restrictions. 👍🏻 It will make the experience all the more enjoyable for everyone.

26/05/2026: I wanted to go back to Bacchus because the closed Quilles Saint-Martial bar left me with few alternatives... I returned reluctantly, as I've never been very enthusiastic about the wine list. It hasn't changed, apart from some Thierry Germain and a few rare, rather decent wines. Fortunately, we were advised not to expect to be served quickly, as most of the clientele was waiting for mediocre tapas or other overpriced delicacies. The best? Store-brand peanuts for 2 euros or potato chips of the same origin for 3 euros... seriously? What kind of place is this? So, if you're well-dressed, influential, friends with the owner, and the quality of your food and drink is secondary, this is the place for you. For wine lovers, I'm talking about real enthusiasts and not label drinkers, frankly... wait for the opening of the wine bar at La Place, in a little while, but don't torture yourselves at Bacchus.
