18/01/2026: Excellent, peaceful, with only fresh, homemade products; we had a lovely afternoon tea. Really great, and the gourmet tea for €10 is something I highly recommend.

05/01/2026: The meal was delicious, but it's a shame that French law wasn't applied: "All French restaurants must offer their customers reusable or recyclable containers, whether free or for a fee, so they can take the leftovers of their meal and drinks home with them, if they wish. This measure came into effect on July 1, 2021, as part of the law to combat food waste passed in 2018."

11/02/2026: We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant, ideally located at the foot of Amboise Castle. The cuisine was delicious and inventive, featuring seasonal ingredients; we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The staff were very pleasant and had a great sense of humor. We will gladly return.

08/12/2025: A warm and very pleasant welcome, a team that doesn't take itself too seriously—their humor is so refreshing and brings a smile to your face 😃. As for the food, it's truly delicious, and the price is fantastic too. I highly recommend it.

26/12/2025: I absolutely don't understand the 5-star rating... a military-style welcome, plates cleared as soon as we finished eating, completely inappropriate "intrusions" into our eating habits, mediocre food quality, sauces whose contents are a mystery, tasteless dishes, stir-fried "vegetables" that amount to little more than boiled cabbage, and so-called "vegetables" that are finally served; a revolting mix of endives cooked in broth? Black mushrooms and other very greasy ones... no bamboo shoots, soy, carrots, or peppers, just white, white, white in a transparent, tasteless broth, white rice that was actually gray, Cantonese rice that resembled nothing at all... the entire meal was like that, and there were seven of us. We stopped after the main course, which suited the two waiters/managers present, who were quick to usher us out to close at 2:10 pm, on Christmas Day. First and last time!!!

05/10/2025: THE MOST RUDE SERVER I’ve ever experienced! He forgot our order, asked if we had eaten our soup, forgot our dinner order, brought it to us an hour and a quarter later, told us to “calm down”. Didn’t acknowledge his error. He took my cold dinner away and brought it back 15 seconds later! The restaurant didn’t even offer us anything for their error and absolutely horrible service. I asked that I not pay for our mains and the manager said ok. While I was paying, the server called our friend “stupid”! Absolutely unbelievable!

17/08/2025: Didn't try lunch. Friendly and efficient service. A variety of high-quality beers. Beautiful platters, not too expensive and delicious.

10/07/2025: Very disappointed with this McDonald's. Forgetting orders is unfortunately very common, and the waiting time is endless, even when there are not many people. But what shocks me the most is the manager's attitude: when we call to report an oversight, we are treated like liars and were told "my colleague is sure of himself." What a shame! Knowing that I had just come back because a happy meal had just been forgotten! Do you really think that's all I have to do? Waste time calling, eat cold food, just for two happy meal desserts that I wanted to cheat?! What nonsense! Having worked in a McDonald's myself, I know how essential it is to respect customers, to recognize your mistakes and to apologize. Here, we are far from the minimum service. It's a shame that you're the only one in Amboise, because this lack of professionalism really doesn't make me want to come back. I really don't like leaving negative reviews, but here we're really making fun of the customers! A real rethink is needed.

01/12/2024: Les incontournables friandises d’Amboise pour se faire plaisir entre 2 visites : à emporter ou sur place, tout est bon! Le chocolat chaud maison à l’orange, une tuerie! Les oursons en guimauve, les tartelettes, goûtez-tout!

28/10/2024: Décevant. Serveurs souriants, certes, mais pour la patronne, faudra repasser. 30 mn d attente pour se voir servir une quiche à rechauffer et une assiette de fromages. Achat du caramel beurre salé au comptoir. Insipide. Sans saveur Repassés plus tard car les enfants voulaient une glace. J'avais envie d en manger une mais...pour les adultes....pas de cornet possible !!!! Allez savoir pourquoi... Ca m'a passé l'envie ! Bref...déception.
