23/05/2026: A wonderful discovery after three attempts to book! 🎉 We finally managed to explore this menu which took us on a culinary journey 🌏, thrilled us 🥰, a true delight for our taste buds... The local white wine from Faverolles, "Le Water l'eau," was excellent and paired perfectly with our dishes! Your turn! 😁

17/05/2026: This place offers excellent value for money on the lunch menu. The food is fresh and well-prepared. There were six of us, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The service was professional and friendly. I highly recommend it.

14/05/2026: We had a very pleasant time. The terrace was large, and the waitress was smiling, energetic, and knew her job. The owner was friendly and attentive to his customers. The food was very good. We opted for the set menu (starter, main course, and dessert) for €24, which was reasonable. We will gladly return.

18/05/2026: After an hour's wait without any explanation, despite several requests, the table behind us, which had just arrived, was served before us and other families who were waiting. We told them we were going to pay for our drinks and leave. We were told they were short-staffed in the kitchen. The manager, without an apology, told us, in an insolent and rude manner, "You should do it yourselves." What a lack of professionalism! A simple "Sorry, we're confused, I'll take care of your table right away..."—six covers, no less—might have made us wait a little longer... oh well! But they won't be seeing us again! Another major negative point: only one parking space for this large establishment, which also boasts a large terrace.

14/05/2026: We visited twice; the first time to enjoy the cheese board and the "discovery" board of white wines, the second time for the mixed board and a rosé and orange wine (recommended by the waiter who found the perfect pairing for our tastes). We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and received a very warm welcome (as did our dog).

The batter is thin, perfectly golden, and slightly crispy around the edges while maintaining a soft, moist interior. The quality of the fillings is evident. The recommended Breton cider paired well with the entire meal. The excellent service adds greatly to the charm of the location (at the foot of Amboise Castle). The price-quality ratio is good. This restaurant is for those who appreciate simple, delicious, and authentic cuisine and those seeking a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

06/05/2026: A very warm welcome. The staff were responsive and attentive! We had a quick meal with our two children, which was perfect for the rest of our visit. The crêpes and galettes were really delicious (we don't have them in the Landes region, 40). Thank you!

29/05/2026: A great place for lunch in an air-conditioned room after visiting the castle. Efficient service. The cucumber gazpacho starter was truly excellent!

21/05/2026: Torn between the flavor of the food and the portion size. The dish was finished in three bites. Very good, but we left hungry. The bill came to over €120 for two people. And don't sit near the windows, as they let in a draft.

15/05/2026: We had dinner at this excellent restaurant in Amboise. I wasn't sure what to expect, as I'm a bit wary of overly enthusiastic reviews. But there's no doubt these are entirely deserved, and I'd even say I'm surprised they don't have at least one Michelin star. I tried the pea velouté. And I absolutely loved it. The composition, as described, seems complicated, and one might even think it's perhaps too much. But no, the palate isn't fooled; everything is there. The delicate flavor of the peas is enhanced by the crisp notes of the goat cheese bavarois, the texture of the small pieces of smoked bacon, and the slightly acidic touches of pickled onions. I won't go into detail about each dish, it would take too long, but one remarkable thing about Chef Stéphane Delétang's recipes is the satisfaction you get from discovering that every ingredient described is present in his dishes. I would also like to congratulate the pastry chef for his beautiful and incredibly delicious desserts. We thoroughly enjoyed his chocolate and hazelnut financier and his strawberry bavarois. Both are so tempting you want to devour them too quickly, and you find yourself thinking, "Hmm, I could really go for another one!" Finally, there's the impeccable service: friendly, smiling, and attentive. Madame Delétang takes such good care of her customers, quickly and with a smile, that you can't help but want to return as soon as possible. Looking forward to our next visit!

01/06/2026: A good restaurant on Victor Hugo street, serving good beef fillet and duck breast. And an excellent white wine with great value for money - the Authenticus (Plou et Fils).
