04/07/2024: Totalement hors de prix pour la qualité servie 21€ pour un « bowl » qui arrive sous forme d’une assiette de crudités coupées à la va vite et un tas de riz au milieu de l assiette La pavlova se résume à une boule de glace avec 3 tas de chantilly sur le bord de l’assiette et une meringue achetée manifestement toute faite chez un pâtissier. Le tout pour la modique somme de 10€. Le rapport qualité prix n’est absolument pas justifié. À ce niveau là c’est du vol… Dommage l’accueil est plutôt sympathique

02/05/2024: La qualité au rendez-vous, avec un service très pro tout en étant sympa ! Prix corrects. Carte des vins avec du choix. La salle à l’étage est vraiment top. Une belle terrasse aussi.

15/08/2024: Vendredi dernier nous avons passé un moment enchanteur à l'écluse de Villeneuve-sur-Lot ! Niché au bord du Lot, cet endroit magique nous a offert une expérience inoubliable. La planche gourmande, une véritable symphonie de saveurs, a comblé nos papilles. Merci infiniment aux employés attentionnés et à l'équipe en cuisine pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur savoir-faire. 24/08/2024: The restaurant is located in a splendid historic building. Staff was friendly but new on the job and given the setting surprisingly poorly trained. We had the flagship dish "Salt crust chicken for 4 people" only available on pre-order. The food was pleasant but the presentation lacked attention to detail. Overall an average dining experience in an exceptional setting, but not aligned with the above average pricing.

13/08/2024: Nous nous sommes régalés, accueil chaleureux, le Chef Michel Trama nous a bien conseillés, un menu délicieux. Même Théo, le Cavalier King Charle de la famille, est sympathique. La bâtisse ancienne est splendide, la déco soignée vous invite à la détente. Nous recommandons, n’hésitez pas si vous êtes dans cette belle région.

29/08/2024: I've been there several times to have a drink or a coffee. Always a warm welcome, reasonable prices for drinks. Until now I have always come without planning, outside of lunch hours. I will try the meal as soon as possible. Simple, friendly, large nice terrace. Easy parking outside market days and evenings. People who love their job, and that's worth highlighting in the area.

18/08/2024: We spent a quiet week. In this quality, very clean, friendly gîte with a top swimming pool. Hammocks for naps, small, medium and large have found what they are looking for. The horse farm was a real plus for me and my daughter. The restaurant on site is very nice. Thanks for the stay.

14/07/2024: After a visit to a seminar, I found this gîte uninteresting. The accommodation is very basic, very basic decoration. The restaurant is also uninteresting,

17/08/2024: A panini is prepared with a panini machine, it should come out slightly flattened, it cannot be put as is, in an oven for 1 minute. So €7.50 for a 33cl can of coke and a panini bread with a few cheese crumbs in it...that's a bit stingy.

20/08/2024: We had reservations for 13 people. The service was deplorable, slow! We order the aperitif, then 2 charcuterie and cheese planchas. Unfortunately, we had to ask for bread, otherwise it was not served, and in addition 1 slice of bread per person. We ask for the card to order, no menu card, no wine and other drinks list. So we ordered according to what the waitress told us. We ask the price of bottled wines, red and rosé, 20th per bottle. I find it strange that the bottle of rosé is the same price as the red. We had to ask again for bread to accompany our starters. Order dishes always announced by the waitress. After having our dishes, we noticed that the meat that everyone had ordered rare was medium, except for 1 plate which was rare. Served with fried meat and green salad with tomato. What a surprise once my meat was finished, I went to start the salad, and at that moment, a slug wandered across my plate, which I immediately brought back, forgetting to take my photo. They bring us wine glasses that have just been rinsed and not washed. Red wine is served straight out of the refrigerator, what a waste! The desserts let's not talk about it, the disappointment, crème brûlée served cold, tiramitsu with alcohol, 2 different alcohols in 2 Tiramitsus. And finally the toilets are not clean at all. Hair and dirt in the hand dryer. Floor is dirty, sink is dirty. In short, this restaurant is a horror! To flee...
