08/09/2026: Delicious pizza with plenty of toppings. And ready within 10 minutes. It tastes good. It is a shame, though, that they don't cut it for you.

06/08/2026: Simple place for takeout pizza with a few picnic tables. Vegetarian pizza was good. Calzone and other pizzas very mediocre. Salami sausage was way too thick, and lots of cheese. No Italian touch to the recipe. More American. Won't be coming back.

23/08/2026: Simple pizzeria. Small terrace in front of a small wooden building/shed. But the quality of the pizza is fine and the service is with a smile. Price/performance is OK.

07/06/2026: The room was very disappointing; there was no bottle of water upon arrival, which we did receive at much lesser hotels, and the staff was unfriendly. A man behind the bar was downright rude. The food was decent, and the view was beautiful. In everything, you can tell that this hotel lacks passionate staff.

07/06/2026: This hotel from this chain is fantastic in terms of location, but less so in terms of rooms and abominable in terms of service! The front location was an ugly box-like building with an unsecured parking lot that wasn't big enough. Certainly not during peak season. The reception was astonishing… a “manager” yelled at his staff in front of the guests. 😱 Unacceptable! The rooms were disappointing. A view of a roof, no water as a welcome, no shower gel; the beds were good. The kettle had to stand on the floor because the cord is too short to put it on the desk. The chambermaids were nice; one of the receptionists (a slim lady) was very helpful. The air conditioning broke down, so we were given another room (twice), and the last time, the receptionist on duty was tapping her fingers and saying: Depeche TOI!!!! I have to go back to the reception 😱 so bad!!! The breakfast was fine! But the dinner… oh my… so bad. Apart from the piece of meat or fish we ordered, the garnish was exactly the same: pommes Anna, a smear of sweet potato, and some vague jelly-like vegetable pudding or something... in any case, yuck, yuck, yuck. The beautiful photos on the website, oh, oh, oh, how fake!!! Service extremely unfriendly. Anyway, I'm done with this place; we are never coming back, even though our expectations were high. Such a shame. People, learn from this... it will help you...

27/08/2026: Great little bar frequented by locals, good underground vibe. The owner is very cool, thanks again for the bottle of water which would have been very useful during my bus trip if I hadn't left in a rush ;)

10/08/2026: Warm welcome, excellent service. Good value for money. We had two starters, a main course, dessert, and two glasses of wine each for €16.50 per person! Highly recommended.

09/09/2026: We went for dinner as a family, and everything was fantastic. The service, the food, the views... plus, they're dog-friendly, which is a big plus. Special mention goes to the duck burger and the confit, both spectacular, although the salad was also excellent. Highly recommended.

09/09/2026: We had lunch at L’Essentiel after visiting the Padirac Cave. Upon arrival, we were seated at a table that hadn't yet been cleaned, something I wouldn't normally pay attention to if it were busy. In fact, at least seven other tables were dirty as well. Then, we took our order, but when the waitress brought us the menus, she dropped mine, didn't apologize, and just walked away smiling. While we were eating, we heard shouting and laughter coming from the kitchen, followed by the waitress throwing herself on the floor, "arguing" with her colleague, just a couple of meters away. They were all we could hear! When all the staff went on their break, we could hear them talking about their own excrement and other obscene stories. Again, not a single clean table in sight. In short, we could have had a decent meal if all this hadn't happened. The food wasn't amazing, so overall not a great experience.

19/09/2026: A disastrous experience at this establishment. We arrived at 8 pm on a Saturday and the terrace was completely empty (we should have taken that as a sign to turn around and leave). The waitress was relatively pleasant, but the food was awful. The fries were frozen (even though the cook said otherwise), with no salt and no flavor. The burger was incredibly greasy, including the bun, making it inedible. The raw vegetables tasted like water, and the seasoning was off. Furthermore, the atmosphere in the restaurant was tense between the waitress and the cook. The waitress even remarked that they were overwhelmed with barely three orders. The only positive point was that the house wine was good. It's a shame because the location and the terrace are lovely.

31/05/2026: This is a traditional hotel, not a chain. The owner and his wife are very welcoming and go out of their way to ensure your satisfaction and make your stay as pleasant as possible.
