18/08/2024: Here is an updated version of the notice: --- **An experience to avoid at all costs!** I strongly advise against this hotel-restaurant for many reasons. First of all, the room was a real oven in the middle of summer, with no air conditioning. It is unacceptable not to offer air conditioning these days. The bathroom, for its part, was in a pitiful state: dilapidated, with dangerous plumbing. Taking a shower was a challenge because the water suddenly became hot as soon as someone touched the sink faucet. A real nightmare, especially when you think about security! The restaurant, for its part, is a total disappointment. The prices are scandalously high for a kitchen that doesn't hold up. Clearly, this establishment takes advantage of the lack of competition to charge exorbitant prices. Personally, I much prefer good local cuisine, simple but tasty, to this so-called gastronomy. To top it off, I had to leave in a hurry at 8 a.m. and, despite having informed reception, half a night's stay was deducted from my bill. This is unacceptable and demonstrates purely mercantile management, without any consideration for customers, "these are the conditions of sale and normally I have to stay the whole night" In summary, this hotel plays on its isolation to offer poor and overcharged service. A word of advice: run away, you will find much better elsewhere and for much less money!

27/08/2024: It's a small restaurant that I discovered by chance following a visit to the Pont Valentré; the nice terrace with a few tables on the sidewalk caught my attention. Seeing the dish of the day at 11.90 euros, a sirloin with pepper sauce and fries, I immediately asked if a table was free. Total surprise, hearty dish and quality meat for a price far from the restaurants in the city center. The service was pleasant and fast, we could chat quietly without having to deal with the conversation from neighboring tables, I loved it. Thank you to the waitresses who were constantly moving in all directions with a smile and a particular kindness to the well-being of the customers despite the heatwave. Thanks to the team, excellent and really affordable meal (11 euros/person with bottles of water).

17/08/2024: It is on the street that leads to the Pont Valentré, the most famous attraction in Cahors, so you find it on the way from the city center. It is a menu and fast food bar. Your proposal is honest. They treated us well and in Spanish, so everything was easier. The price was affordable, so no complaints. We were right because we wanted to eat something quick and easy. The bathroom is mixed and small but very clean. I give it four stars for the detail of the language.

07/08/2024: Very clean establishment, well located, close to things to see in the region. The meals offered at the restaurant are excellent and the staff is pleasant. The rooms are superb. I highly recommend.

07/09/2024: 15.50 per meal with no choice is not great 3 small pieces of cheese for 4 nothing to do with the Leclerc cafeteria 10.50 starter main course with 5.6 choices plus dessert

05/09/2024: Last minute booking, very welcoming owners, good advice, very quiet hotel and very good bedding.

23/09/2024: Nous avons testé ce restaurant après avoir lu différents avis. Nous n'avons pas été déçus. La carte est simple et les plats sont copieux et goûteux. Service impeccable.

10/09/2024: Une décoration un peu surannée mais une cuisine simple et goûteuse pour un prix raisonnable. La vue de la terrasse est en effet imprenable !

31/08/2024: For a dinner of 50 people, we enjoyed a whole lamb on a spit cooked at home and very well prepared, and all the dishes (petits fours, vegetables, cheese platter and charcuterie) were of very good quality, with local products highlighting Quercy and served with professionalism and a smile

27/08/2024: After telling us by phone and email that they were available for our wedding next year, a date was blocked and an appointment agreed to choose the menus. After a good hour of driving, it seems that we have been forgotten and we have to wait more than half an hour before the caterer finally comes to apologize: He is no longer available on this date because he has committed on another marriage. He justifies himself by explaining a communication problem between him and his mother who seems to act as his secretary. The two booked the same date without consulting each other. A real organizational problem that turned our wedding upside down. Two hours of driving for nothing and a good dose of stress generated. We now need to find a new caterer urgently. For these reasons, I cannot recommend it.
