27/08/2024: le sorbet citron/basilic, trop bon ! idem pour le pain graines de courges et autre, pain aux raisins délicieux, personnel très accueillant, patron très sympa, merci de m'avoir prévenu de l'arrivée des sorbets

05/08/2024: Finally fresh bread that can be frozen. Wide variety of bread: classic, country, wholemeal, cereal, pie, apricot fig, walnut raisin, even brioche and always very good. I recommend with your eyes closed.

04/09/2024: Accueil , sourire et plats du jours agréables à déguster! C’est par pur hasard que nous nous sommes arrêtés! .. Pas déçus! Viandes excellentes! Je vous le recommande !

17/08/2024: Accueil sympathique, toutefois l’attente a été beaucoup trop longue (45min pour prendre la commande…), peut être liée à un problème de personnel? Les serveuses sont agréables mais clairement débordées par le nombre de tables. J’ai regretté aussi l’absence de flexibilité : des pâtes sont proposées en accompagnement des plats, mais on m’a refusé d’échanger des frites contre des pâtes dans un menu enfant. Dommage. Sinon les plats sont bons (burger de bonne facture) avec des suggestions locales.

21/08/2024: Bonne cuisine, menu du jour très abordable 16,90 €.Entrée ,plat principal,fromage local ou dessert café .Par contre le service laisse à désirer ,trop longue attente entre entrée ,et plat principal. Dommage ..!!!!

24/11/2024: We spent a very balmy October evening in this welcoming country bistro. The vegetarian pan was excellent, we were on the verge of going back the next day to try it again. Very friendly service and warm atmosphere, thank you very much.

20/09/2024: I went there on a Sunday at the end of the holidays, a rainy day, all the restaurants in Montcuq were full including this one, but faced with our dismay, the manager kindly accepted my daughter and me. Delicious meal, warm welcome, go there with your eyes closed, but remember to book!!!!

21/08/2024: Personnel agréable, cadre sympa en revanche attente très très longue pour passer commande et être servie, pourtant nous étions peu nombreux dans la salle. Un peu déçu par les galettes qui sont peu garnis et les desserts sans intérêts rien de local.

19/08/2024: Une nouvelle soirée en famille à la crêperie et toujours un super accueil entre professionnalisme et simplicité. Les femmes de l’ombre derrière les fourneaux sont humbles mais surtout d’excellentes cuisinières avec cette touche de créativité sur les assiettes. Les serveuses sont toujours disponibles et en partant vous pouvez déguster un rhum arrangé… offert Je recommande

24/09/2024: We are disappointed with this campsite. Known it 10 years ago, we wanted to come back, but things have changed a lot. Upon our arrival and following a reservation on their site, we had to pay a supplement on the pretext that we had not indicated enough adults. The campsite blames their power plant. Then we arrived at our location, it was busy. It took us an hour from our arrival to setting up our belongings, with 2 young children. Once again, it is not their fault but the motorhome owners. During the week, the restaurant is closed, the snack bar closes at 8 p.m. Little service. The toilets are half-closed, and quick cleaning. We remain disappointed. Following a follow-up to the central office, we obtained a refund, but there remains a major lack of organization at this campsite.

25/08/2024: Very good locations. Poor sanitary facilities, no cleaning service. Very few open toilets. Grocery store without products. We are given a phone number to call but no one ever answers. Strong point the swimming pool.

19/08/2024: Service more than questionable bordering on unpleasant even if the cuisine enhances the experience. The knife tartare remains an excellent experience despite the tasteless fries.

04/08/2024: The food was great, the meat was nicely seasoned. The fries were also tasty. The service was good. The atmosphere could be improved, but it was still cozy.

14/08/2024: Deux menus à 27€ et 40€ très copieux et assez créatif. Service qui tient le choc malgré la forte fréquentation du mois d’août. Un cadre plutôt agréable dans une salle moderne en bord de Dordogne.

21/09/2024: The few extra minutes of driving out of Martel is worth the cost. We felt pampered and out of time, we recommend the hotel but also the restaurant whether for dinner or breakfast. We enjoyed quality, homemade products. We recommend without hesitation!

28/08/2024: Room number 15 is very uncomfortable. The bed was the worst, 1.35 or 1.40cm at most and, above all, the horrible mattress, with back pain the next day. The bathroom is tiny, the toilet is in a cubicle where not even a person can stand if you want to close the door. To enter the bathtub you have to climb a step and then enter a bathtub with a step inside. The room is located under the stairs and you hear who is going up or down the stairs all the time. The window looks out onto a downstairs roof with no view. Breakfast is expensive for what they offer. We had a reservation for 3 nights but we asked to be changed because, in addition, my partner has knee surgery and couldn't get in and out of the bathtub well. But it couldn't be because they had it full. They told us that no one had ever complained and they took it badly, without any empathy for my partner's physical problem... We had to go to another hotel because being here on vacation will surely make you bitter. I hope that this review will at least change the attitude of those responsible when a guest tells them a problem.
