17/09/2025: Lunch at least in August, in the garden, very pleasant...in terms of taste, we are not in a three-star hotel, but it is good... waitress and waiter very pleasant, smiling, competent and available, despite the restaurant being full

11/09/2025: Never seen before... Arrived at 11:55 a.m. we are on vacation so in no hurry but the restaurant is, we have to make money... quick reading of the menu, no time to choose the wine, order an aperitif and at 12:05 p.m. sharp the cassoulet arrives, certainly not home-cooked, really no desire for dessert, a coffee, the bill and hop outside at 12:30 p.m. to be quick it's quick especially when we have all the time in the world...

12/06/2026: I've been going to this casino for about ten years. It has interesting machines and a pleasant atmosphere; the interior is beautiful, and the service is friendly. Recently, I tried the new casino in Pompadour, 70 km away compared to 130 km for Alvignac. Well, believe me, I prefer to travel 60 km more and have a good day. In Pompadour, 50% of the machines only have one game based on the same principle and a high base bet.

09/06/2026: The machines just spinning their wheels, how boring! Practically no feedback, I mean, really. Losing is part of the game, but I was so bored tonight... The place is much less busy than it used to be, and I can see why!

04/12/2025: Not great. I was served, and a friend and I had barely finished our meal when my wife was still waiting for hers. Apparently, the restaurant is changing owners. We'll see.

04/11/2025: A small restaurant I like, but I'm not sure if it's the same owner. The waitress isn't very friendly, which is a change from previous years when Luis was the one who waited at the table. Otherwise, the food is still good. And that's the main thing.

16/04/2026: Despite the negative reviews, I wanted to try it for myself and I wasn't disappointed. For starters, a country salad that was far better than I expected, and for the main course, pasta carbonara, which some might consider a simple dish but which can easily become cloying, this time it was really delicious! It could have used a little more salt, but it's better to add some than have too much 😊

24/05/2026: Expensive for the quality of the food. The waitress was friendly, but unfortunately, the waiter had no sense of customer service. We found a fly in one of our dishes. We were refunded for it, but when we pointed out the problem, the waiter didn't seem to take it seriously.

21/05/2026: Frankly, very disappointing. We ordered a piece of beef with pepper sauce and fries for €19, and it was far from worth the price. The pepper sauce was extremely runny and tasteless; it was practically water. As for the meat, the portion was tiny, barely the size of a child's steak, certainly less than 100g. For €19, that's clearly outrageous. The dessert didn't redeem the rest: a chocolate fondant with crème anglaise and whipped cream, but again, it had no flavor. The crème anglaise was very runny and bland, and the whipped cream was equally tasteless. The worst part was the bill: there was a set menu (main course + dessert) advertised for €25, but when it came time to pay, everything was charged separately. We had to point it out ourselves to get the set menu price applied. This is completely unacceptable. On the other hand, the servers were completely blameless and remained pleasant and polite throughout the meal, so there's nothing to complain about regarding the service itself. But overall, it's clearly a tourist trap in Rocamadour, with very poor value for money. I strongly advise against it.

07/07/2025: One of the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Wrong order, burger dripping with grease and the burger meat didn't taste at all like other McDonald's which makes you question the freshness.

06/07/2025: A complete team of incompetent people, not a single order served without a hitch. Scrap metal in nuggets, cold fries cooked and recooked, incomplete order, in short, everything to be happy after having traveled 20 km for a McDonald's.

01/04/2026: Passing through the village, this was the only restaurant open in the evening. The welcome was friendly, and the dinner was decent. The owner, very friendly, even gave us some great tips for good local products. I recommend it.

27/05/2026: Avoid this place! It's a rip-off. During our bike ride in the sweltering heat, we asked for some tap water for a bottle! The friendly gentleman at the bar replied: "It's not mandatory!" I'm speechless at such generosity! Moral of the story: go have your drink somewhere else 😡

27/05/2026: It's noon, I've just cycled over 60 km, I'm out of water in my bottle, it's over 30 degrees... and I still have a long hill to climb... Thanks boss for agreeing to refill my bottle and saying, "You know, I'm not obligated."
