Hurry before this place becomes a cult classic and loses its spontaneity. It's delicious, incredibly friendly, and of course, spotlessly clean, but what's more, it's truly unlike any other place—a unique spot that should be held up as an example. Thanks again.

04/07/2026: Having stayed at the Auberge some time ago, here's a new review of the restaurant we visit every year. Authentic local cuisine, far removed from the trendy "touristy mountain hut" style, offering quality dishes. Among the locals, come and enjoy a delicious meal at this neighborhood institution.

09/07/2026: Perfect, a wonderful culinary discovery. However, the service could be improved; for example, the appetizers shouldn't be served at the same time as the aperitif.

03/07/2026: The restaurant was clean with good service. The back courtyard was cozy. However, this didn't make up for the food, which wasn't very good. A very sweet sauce was smothered on the salads, making them very unbalanced and difficult to eat. In the end, the desserts were a disaster: one tasted like it had been frozen, and the second, which was supposed to be a molten chocolate cake, was actually an overcooked sponge cake. Very disappointed. Despite objectively pointing out that the molten chocolate cake had turned out to be a sponge cake, this didn't seem to be taken into account by the kitchen staff.

27/06/2026: The location of this restaurant is quite advantageous; no cars or passersby to get in the way, and the outdoor terrace is on the opposite side of the street, near the very pleasant pétanque court! The establishment lives up to all its promises; the dishes are delicious, especially the calf's head, a local specialty, and the staff is very welcoming. It's a shame the terrace is a bit crowded... the tables could be better arranged to allow for more space for both the staff and the customers. But that's the only minor drawback, because this is truly the restaurant to go to in Langogne; I recommend it without hesitation!

12/07/2026: Simple and delicious. Despite our late arrival, we were warmly welcomed and served perfectly. The meal was excellent, the service particularly pleasant, and the view from the terrace is truly lovely. A great place!

24/06/2026: Auberge de Langlade, Maison Food Amour!!!! So true! We came Saturday evening with my mother and sister, and it was love at first sight with this restaurant! The dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious (exquisite, even). It's refined and succulent without being over the top. No need for truffles, monkfish, or other luxury ingredients to enjoy a truly wonderful meal. I was particularly taken with the tomato-themed starter! This restaurant is a real gem; the service is well-run despite the small staff, no hiccups whatsoever, and the staff is charming. A thousand thanks for your work and your passion! I will definitely be back! Keep it up, because it's people like you who make us dream! Since I love to dream, I went back to try the autumn menu!!! Not disappointed, just as good as ever, another favorite. The mushroom dessert is simply divine! Go without hesitation. Perfectly seated on the terrace, we savored delicious dishes, beautifully presented and prepared with fresh, local ingredients by the chef. The service was also very pleasant, efficient, and unpretentious, and the owner's warm personality is truly remarkable. 10/06/2026: We didn't stay at the hotel, but we had dinner there one evening while passing through. The welcome was exceptional, the hosts charming, the chef attentive, and the traditional cuisine, combining local ingredients, was very successful, using perfect produce.

06/06/2026: We had a particularly pleasant 2-3 day stay at the Auberge La Patache. The hosts are delightful and take great care of their guests, right down to the food. The restaurant menu is homemade, featuring delicious and fresh local produce. A must-visit in the French valley, and one we will definitely return to.

09/05/2026: I highly recommend it!!!! We arrived as a group of eight, without a reservation and a bit late 🫣, but we received a fantastic welcome. The quality is excellent, whether it's the burgers or the salads, and the portions are generous too 🤤. Looking forward to coming back on our next motorcycle trip 😉

03/06/2026: While passing through Lozère, we had dinner at Le Lion d'Or and what a wonderful discovery it was! The dishes were generous, delicious, and reasonably priced; the welcome was warm, and the owner was friendly and dedicated to ensuring excellent service. We will definitely be back!

31/05/2026: Review of the catering service We contacted Le Lion d'Or for a meal for 100 people. They offered us several menus, and after we made our choice, we met on Saturday, May 30th. The room setup was perfect and quick, and they didn't rush us about the time to sit down to eat. As for the menu, everything was delicious, a feast for the eyes and the taste buds, and in generous portions, enough to satisfy both small and large appetites. Regarding the staff, Beatrice and Nicolas (as well as their family and employees) are attentive, with smiles, humor, dynamism, and passion, and they know how to adapt to everyone's expectations. 05/07/2026: The food is excellent. The setting is beautiful and picturesque. Very welcoming. One small drawback regarding accessibility for people with reduced mobility: the terrace is fine, but the bar area and restrooms have several steps.

02/07/2026: Our first restaurant visit since our vacation, we were pleasantly surprised by this discovery. We tried the summer menu and it was a feast for the taste buds, a delightful surprise of flavors. The portions were perfectly sized. We loved it from the appetizer to the dessert. 17/05/2026: We first went in for takeaway pizzas, and the owner and waitress were absolutely lovely; we felt right at home. So we went back the next day to eat in, and the pizzas were fantastic. Don't hesitate, they're great!
