Housekeeping can be improved (stains on the sink that come off when scratched with your fingernail, shoe marks on the toilet floor as well as multiple drops (pee?))
The bed/mattress I have experienced better in many hotels or rental apartments
No lock on the toilet door
Air conditioning/heating which is neither hot nor cold (it's starting to get a little chilly at the end of September)

11/09/2024: What a beautiful spot. We were biking and decided to stop for lunch. We sampled some Champagne and had a bit of food to go along with it. The spot is cozy and the staff are very friendly. Based on my experience I would recommend this place for food and drinks.
25/08/2024: The café in the main square was full, so they recommended this restaurant.
We were seated on the outside terrace and the staff were very nice.
The cheese platter could have a bit more types of cheese, as it is quite monotonous.
The ratatouille was very tasty.
We also tried two champagnes.

14/09/2024: We went there last night for the first time, very pleasant welcome, cozy atmosphere, nice decor.
My son and his sweetheart had the mussels marinière and the mussels with maroilles, my partner the roast camembert and I the Ch'ti burger. We had a great time 😁
I recommend!!

Honest food. Croque Monsier and a Coupé de Champagne by Michel Fagot (who also sits at the bar and reads the newspaper) to start the day. Proper service. Nothing to complain about. This is also where the older locals from Reims meet. OG Style.

BUT: Menu a bit light and lack of choice of vegetarian dishes.
Very excessive and unjustified prices given the meager contents of the plate (a salad for €20 for a sliced potato and a few pieces of avocado, a few slices of salmon). Not economical at all unless you take a bite to the limit. A brewery should be popular and affordable, this is not the case. A tourist trap...

21/09/2024: L’ambiance et la décoration sont sympathiques.
Nous avons pris des pâtes qui étaient bonnes.
En revanche le service peu professionnel, ce n’est pas le moment opportun pour dire qu’un champagne, ou un autre est je cite : « de la pisse », sachant que nous travaillons dans ces maisons. Certes cela peut être de l’humour, mais on peu rire de tout mais pas avec n’importe qui.

Malgré la réservation 2 jours à l'avance, et confirmée le matin même, avec une arrivée exactement à l'heure prévue, pas de table réservée comme prévu et demandé.
Ambiance très bruyante, service assez "rude", limite à l'arrache. Heureusement, les plats sont toujours goûteux, et n'ont pas changé.
Mais ça ne suffit pas.
A trop vouloir en prendre, on perd l'essentiel. Cette baisse de qualité perçue est décevante. Dommage...

07/09/2024: So disappointing! The food is not very good - no interesting flavours and no green vegetables with the main course and they told us they do not do vegetarian food. The staff in the restaurant all seemed very miserable and unhappy and this atmosphere permeated through the whole restaurant - there was as no joy there. Such an unpleasant and expensive experience for the last night of our holiday in France.
03/09/2024: Magnificent place. Superb marriage of old and contemporary. Lunch under the deep pink canvases was a very pleasant moment. The sea bass fillet was a treat. The service is quality.

02/08/2024: Certainly the best burger I have ever had the opportunity to eat! Meat from the butcher, homemade bread and even cheese makes the difference.
The price is justified by quality products and it is rare to obtain such successful taste quality.
A real experience for me, I would come back!

20/09/2024: I put one star because there is no less welcome and service from the woman at the impeccable bar, however the establishment itself is too small and it would be possible to carry out expansion and development work as well as renew the furniture there. food is ok, nothing extraordinary, the atmosphere feels like a canteen and I had to wait 2h15 (without exaggerating) to claim a shower
Personally I won't go back
