21/03/2026: A lovely little restaurant where the owners go out of their way to make their customers feel welcome! This Saturday, the menu was worthy of a festive meal: homemade foie gras that was absolutely divine, a perfectly cooked beef fillet with truffle sauce, and delicious profiteroles, all accompanied by locally produced cider. Bravo to the chef! 👏 And thank you for this wonderful experience! 🙏

The very friendly owner kindly accommodated my preferences by serving me a reimagined combination of the two daily specials: a delicious, impromptu seafood sauerkraut! 30/03/2026: I spent one night there for work, as part of an overnight stay. The evening meal was a very good buffet with a varied and plentiful selection of starters, main courses, and desserts. However, the room was really nothing special. It was very clean, no complaints there, but I had neither shutters nor curtains on the window, the bed was rather hard, and the hotel was very noisy. You can hear people talking in the hallways, I could also hear my neighbor in the next room, and it's incredibly noisy when the bar is busy.

21/12/2025: Passing through the area for my sales job, I stopped by Milano for a coffee. A warm welcome, very friendly staff who enjoyed interacting with customers, which made for a truly pleasant experience. I enjoyed it so much that I returned for lunch: an excellent meal, quick service, and always in a cheerful atmosphere. An address I wholeheartedly recommend, and one I will gladly return to on my next trip to the area! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

24/12/2025: We stayed for a Christmas market weekend. The hotel is very well located, barely a 10-minute walk from the center. There are a few parking spaces in the small streets surrounding the hotel. The room was small, but sufficient for one night. However, the bedding was very soft and the walls were thin. The breakfast room is tiny, but the buffet was well-stocked.

26/05/2026: A very disappointing experience at the drive-through. We were accused of having "crashed" the system with our click & collect order, which is untrue. The manager spoke to us in a haughty and unpleasant manner throughout. One order was even declared invalid, and we were asked to place and pay for it again… before finally receiving the original order. A lot of confusion, inappropriate remarks, and absolutely no sense of customer service.

24/05/2026: It had been a long time since I'd had a hot McDonald's. It was delicious, and we were served very quickly for four different meals. Everything was perfect, welcoming, and with a smile.

19/05/2026: It's always the same story, regardless of the McDonald's location or the years that go by. Tonight again, I ordered click and collect from the Chateau-Gontier drive-thru, and the potatoes are never cooked through. There's always a mistake in the order (this time, a sandwich with a rösti patty, but without the patty). The least they could do, considering their prices are twice as high as their competitors, is to properly check orders before handing them to customers. Aside from that, the staff's attitude remains good.
