04/08/2024: Pas facile en cette fin Juillet de trouver un restaurant d'ouvert à Château Gontier. Par une belle journée ensoleillée nous cherchons avec ma compagne une terrasse si possible au calme. Au coin d'une petite place nous découvrons notre bonheur, au calme et bien ombragée à l'aide d'un grand parasol, une table nous attendait. Gentiment accueilli, nous avons opté pour un repas complet au tarif de 19 euros! un carpaccio de tomates anciennes bien frais en entrée suivi d'un poisson du jour accompagné d'une purée maison et de courgettes et en dessert une salade de fruit très fraiche. Le service durant tout ce repas assuré par la même personne était tout simplement parfait. Un déjeuner agréable comme on aime.

21/07/2024: Nous avons pris trois crêpes, elles étaient bonnes. Le steak haché avec les frites maison ont satisfaits les papilles d’un enfant souvent difficile. Spécial remerciement à la serveuse qui a été d’une gentillesse et à su s’adapter.
60€ pour 3 adultes et 1 enfant, super rapport qualité prix.
(Ps : on dit crêpe, mais c’est pas grave haha)
17/04/2024: La formule bistrot comprenant entrée, plat, dessert pour 50 euros offre une qualité digne d'un restaurant gastronomique.
Le service efficace et souriant de la serveuse a été très apprécié.
Un très agréable déjeuner

Very welcoming both at the bar and in the dining room.
The toilets are super clean. I stopped at noon so I don't know what the showers are like.
On the other hand, what ruins everything for me is the quality of the dishes. What I got on the plate seemed to have “come out of the microwave” (meaning reheated but not cooked)
On occasion, I would make a stop in the future, hoping for the best on that front.
However, we feel that hygiene is respected so it just needs something better in the kitchen to make it top-notch.

24/08/2024: Ne vous arrêtez pas au patron '' un peu sourd '' (c'est lui même qui le dit 😊) et un peu bourru. Les crêpes sont croustillantes, au bon goût de beurre et bien garnies. Nos Papilles finisteriennes ont apprécié.
Service très rapide, à peine 5 minutes après la commande et très souriant.
Allez y sans hésiter !

Do not present the drinks, no menu and when you ask for information on the drinks you are kindly answered "I already said it" knowing that we were a table of 20 and that we are not necessarily paying attention to what's happening at the other end of the table.

13/08/2024: We visited the hotel 13th August to find that it was closed and a notice said it would be reopening on 28th August. It seemed incredible to us that a hotel would close for what must surely be the busiest time of year!!

Really petty!..
We really did not appreciate this approach, it cast a shadow over this stay.
1.50 euros per battery, or 3 euros for 2 batteries for an evening stopover at around 130 or 140 euros, we found this completely ridiculous
We are in our 3rd year of being homeless, this has never happened

A working menu for €15 (starter, main course, cheese, dessert, 1/4 drink and a coffee) and all with quality and a smile.
We will come back :)
23/04/2024: The starters are very good, the meal of the day is copious and tasty (Norman-style chicken fricassee with fries and salad), the service is fast and efficient, the dessert is delicious (Paris Brest), we have the right to cheese and coffee, great discovery. The price is unbeatable for all these good things, just one word: thank you!
