06/08/2026: While on holiday in the region, we had lunch at this hotel restaurant with our dog. The owners gave us a very warm welcome, the food was authentic, delicious, and generous, and the value for money was unbeatable! Thank you to these restaurateurs who have truly nailed it! If we return to the region, we will definitely come back!

13/07/2026: Order errors, overpriced for the quantity and quality, extremely slow service, one of the waitresses ended up in tears after being repeatedly reprimanded by the manager. In short, it was not a pleasant experience for anyone; the only positive point was the pleasant setting.

30/07/2026: This is utter nonsense. The salesperson didn't even get up, so nobody had the nerve to sell in their place or even fulfill the orders. Completely incompetent and showing contempt for customers.

21/07/2026: We like to stop at Marie Blachère bakeries for breakfast or coffee breaks. We choose the ones with a dedicated seating area. In Laval specifically, we chose the one with this area; at the first one we went in, we immediately left because, although there was a coffee machine, there was nowhere to sit!

23/09/2026: A lovely restaurant, the staff are friendly and the service is extremely fast, which is one of the establishment's strengths! That's why we want to come back.

26/09/2026: A very good crêperie. The buckwheat crêpes, called "galettes," are just like the Breton crêpes from Morbihan or Finistère. The fillings are generous. I recommend it.

26/08/2026: We arrived at 1:45 pm, a group of three. We received an enthusiastic welcome with smiles, the food was excellent, and there was no pressure regarding timing. Thank you very much.

06/07/2026: The food is too simple. The salmon terrine from Thiol or elsewhere isn't great, too processed. The salad leaf in each dish is a bit outdated. It's a shame because the terrace is lovely and the setting is pleasant. It just deserves an effort in presentation and a more limited, but homemade, menu.

02/07/2026: Visited today at 3:30 PM for tobacco. The young waiter with glasses, or the owner, it doesn't matter... was sulking, unfriendly, no smile, no hello, no please, no thank you, and no goodbye. Just a "Sir" to ask what I wanted, and a "26 euros" as he handed me the card terminal to take payment... After waiting 10 minutes for him to clear his tables, even though he saw me and the person behind me waiting. Tobacco shop or restaurant, he should choose one and stick to just one business because, clearly, doing both at the same time is a major inconvenience for this "so-called shopkeeper"...

16/09/2026: We were very disappointed with our visit to this establishment. Accompanied by my mother and aunt, who both have digestive issues, we simply ordered two grenadine drinks at room temperature (making it clear that they couldn't drink cold water). From the moment it was served, the glass of water smelled strongly of mint. After pointing this out, the waitress retrieved it, and we realized it was tap water. The glasses were refilled, but the water still tasted bad. Since we couldn't drink anything, we asked for a refund, which was categorically refused on the pretext that "that's not how they operate." The result: drinks we paid for but couldn't be drunk, a complete lack of consideration for customers' health, and extremely disappointing service. We left disgusted and will not be returning.

24/09/2026: Everything was hot and delicious; they even brought me the sauce they'd forgotten without me asking. The burger was piping hot, a welcome change from the usual McDonald's where the burger is barely lukewarm. The staff was very pleasant, and the restaurant was clean.

19/09/2026: Very good experience today, Ambre welcomed us with a smile, was very helpful and attentive to customers.

24/12/2025: We stayed for a Christmas market weekend. The hotel is very well located, barely a 10-minute walk from the center. There are a few parking spaces in the small streets surrounding the hotel. The room was small, but sufficient for one night. However, the bedding was very soft and the walls were thin. The breakfast room is tiny, but the buffet was well-stocked.

23/09/2026: Pleasant service, manager, with a green streak in his hair, very very friendly and very warm towards customers, hot products, clean room, everything was impeccable, not being from Laval I will return to this McDonald's without any hesitation.
