26/07/2026: The waiter was a short, red-haired man—sorry for the word, incredible!—nothing to complain about. Quick, efficient, and full of humor, as he should be. Perfect food, except that the bartender and two other waiters acted like they were running a corner shop.

01/08/2026: Excellent value for money! Here, for €21 on weekdays and €26 on weekends, you get a complete and delicious meal. The welcome is excellent and the service is simply perfect! This restaurant is very well located opposite the small port of L'Estaque. I've been a loyal customer for many years and I've never wanted to go anywhere else.

28/07/2026: The well-oiled team is attentive and responsive; you can tell the place is well-known and popular, and during the summer months, it's wise to book in advance, even for a table of four at the beginning of the week. The decor isn't the establishment's strong point, nor is the background music, but fans and air circulators placed here and there ensured pleasant air circulation. The dishes on the €21 set menu are generous and flavorful, and the bread selection is varied (including a very digestible dark, charcoal-grilled bread). A panoramic terrace (upstairs) can be reserved for groups and/or events.

14/06/2026: Honestly, a superb experience! A restaurant with a magnificent view of the sea and the port, a setting that makes you want to savor every moment. The atmosphere is incredible, warm, and full of energy. As for the food, a real treat: flavorful, well-prepared dishes with beautiful flavors and elegant presentation. The team is fantastic; the waitresses are lovely, always smiling, and create a truly wonderful atmosphere. We had an exceptional time, from the view and the warm welcome to the quality of the food. I wholeheartedly recommend this place; it was absolutely fantastic!

14/06/2026: An exceptional experience at the Élyssa restaurant, with a magnificent view of Marseille's Old Port! The setting is superb, perfect for enjoying a meal overlooking the boats and soaking up the Marseille atmosphere. The welcome is warm, the service attentive, and the dishes are delicious, prepared with care and bursting with flavor. A true pleasure to dine in such a lovely place. A must-visit address by the port, I highly recommend it and will definitely return. Groupe Paca

21/03/2026: The food was okay, nothing special, the service was slow and the staff were unpleasant...yet there weren't many people there.

05/04/2026: I am VERY disappointed. The manager was on, very on. Then two scenarios come to mind, either it is a good restaurant that has a positive atmosphere and they have food they are proud of or it is absolutely terrible and they are just trying to get customers who are willing to have a "good" dinner. We ate burgers that were dry and not tasty, and when we were going to pay they said they did not take cards, only cash. "Luckily" there was an ATM that you could withdraw cash 1 meter from the restaurant. The minimum was 20 euros with a fee of just under 5 euros. As I could see in my receipt from my card, it looks like the restaurant owns the ATM. It is one of the wildest things I have ever experienced. We were there in early April.

01/03/2026: The best couscous I've had in Marseille. The portion is more than enough for one person. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Fast service.

07/06/2026: Small, typical restaurant; we ate outside, the meal was good and well presented at a very reasonable price.

23/05/2026: A lovely, laid-back discovery while taking the waters nearby. The entrance is a little tricky to find, but once you do, it's paradise. A cool and quiet atmosphere, everything you need to unwind at lunchtime.... It must be livelier in the evening, but it's probably a gem in this area too.

19/07/2026: The employee (the manager?) called me "young man" when I was paying. I'm clearly not 25 years old, it felt like an insult.

19/07/2026: An exceptional welcome! Although the restaurant doesn't open until noon, we were greeted at 11:13 am and were literally saved the day. Upon arrival, we were treated to small tapas as an appetizer—a real delight. As for the main courses, we tried the fig, apricot, and almond tagine, bursting with flavor and perfectly balanced, as well as the kefta couscous, which was truly delicious. To finish off the meal, tea was served with great kindness. A huge thank you for this warm welcome, the kindness, and the attention given to the customers. A place to recommend without hesitation!

11/07/2026: The courtyard is really lovely and inviting. The crêpes are also reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the service was rather unfriendly, and the crêpes themselves didn't impress me at all. Overall, I was disappointed and wouldn't order anything here again. However, it's certainly pleasant for a short visit to the beautiful courtyard.

02/03/2026: 2 hours and 10 minutes for a starter, main course, and coffee... definitely only order one course because once the starter is served (quickly), you're hooked and the long wait begins... Otherwise, apart from one waitress who absolutely must find another job, they're friendly... liars like they're tooth-pullers – "It's coming right away, sir!!!" – but friendly! A bit pricey for what it is. 🤔

03/01/2026: Superb restaurant overlooking the harbor. A delight! The cuisine is refined, the menu is excellent, and it also includes vegetarian options. The staff is very pleasant and attentive. A must-try!

07/06/2026: It's always a real treat! Delicious and generous tagines and couscous of all kinds! A flavorful pastilla! The owner is friendly. We'll be back soon with other friends. One small drawback: they don't have wine or alcoholic drinks. But no matter! The good mint tea more than makes up for it.

30/03/2026: Definitely something wrong with this restaurant. Dinned at this place then threw up 3 times, kept me up all night long. Be REALLY careful chowing to eat here, it may endanger your life.

31/07/2026: It was very tasty, cozy and colorful! The dishes are very tasty - classic couscous from barley groats according to the traditional Kabyle recipe, exactly what you should go to this restaurant for. The hall is decorated in a very atmospheric way, a real immersion in the color. The owner (Mustafa) is super, a warm welcome, you feel like you are visiting friends. I highly recommend it if you are looking for an authentic atmosphere of Marseille!
