It's still a bad idea not to warn that cider is no longer available and to have the nerve to say that this hasn't been done for 15 years when 2 years before that was the case. Prices are increasing but the quality of food and service is deteriorating. Given the competition that opens up the choice will be quickly made!!! 😊😊

30/03/2024: Cider house in the historic center of Bayonne. There is a closed or a la carte menu. It is worth taking the menu. Cod omelette, Spanish-style hake and beef txuleta with lettuce. For dessert, nuts and cheese with quince. Everything, with the cider you want to serve from the barrels. Three-story building. Reservations are essential. Very attentive waiters. Without a doubt, a good place to eat and leave more than satisfied.

Appreciable welcome at first contact, a shame later to be almost attacked by a restaurant cook while going to the toilet, apparently according to his fellow waitress, he really wanted to go to the toilet, to the point of verbally attacking the customers. .. Very slow food service with a lot of waiting between the starter and the main course. Menu rather expensive considering the dishes offered.

25/03/2024: The truth is that upon entering it promised to be a good option, but quite the opposite. There is a sign on the door that says coffee and croissant for €2. Well, that's what my partner and I asked for. To begin with, the place was empty and it took them a long time to serve us. Afterwards, they brought us the coffees, but not the croissants, which arrived about 25 minutes later, when the coffee was completely cold. By the way, although for the price indicated on the sign, we could not be demanding, the croissants left a lot to be desired. Furthermore, to end our bad experience, when it came time to charge us, they told us that it was €7, instead of the €4 that we expected as clearly indicated on the sign on the door (photo attached). Very bad experience in every way. To top off our disappointment, the owner of the establishment now responds to me saying that we went at 11:30, when we were there exactly from 9:55 (entrance) to 10:50 (exit). And now it turns out that he also excuses himself by saying that it was a big coffee. First news. We ordered a coffee and that's it, with a croissant, just as advertised, within the hour that they also advertise as a claim. It sounds like a trick to charge people more. In short, instead of assuming his responsibility, he lies. That, or he's confused as a person, I don't know what to think. As I say, disappointment and bad experience.
