05/09/2026: I loved the food; the set menu, main course and dessert, was €16. The salmon was delicious, and the woman who served us was wonderful.

21/09/2026: The diabolo arrived lukewarm without ice, the ice cream sundae had deflated whipped cream (clearly it had been sitting around), and the crepes were cold, meaning they were pre-made and not even warmed up. Not an amazing experience.

17/08/2026: Mediocre. This restaurant has nothing to offer except its shaded terrace overlooking the Nive River and its location at the foot of the Hotel Le Bayonne (useful if you arrive late). The food is truly mediocre, the dishes bland. The Caesar salad wasn't great; the lettuce leaves were wilted: you could tell it had just come out of the refrigerator 😝 and had no taste. The hot dish was of the same ilk, taken straight from the fridge and reheated. Far too average for the very high price we were charged. Seriously: if you can, walk towards the city center and you can eat quite decently by the Nive.

05/10/2026: I ordered a small starter off the menu. They really went to great lengths! Delicious fresh bread, a soft, creamy cheese, black olives, bell peppers. Really, really nice. I had the veal T-bone, my husband the hamburger. Very good. Truly beautiful and high-quality dishes, prepared with care and tailored to the customer. This was our stopover on the way back to the Netherlands, but a beautiful spot along the water, the Nive.

20/09/2026: The welcome wasn't very warm, barely a hello. The service was very slow despite the waiters' apologies. The meal was decent.

20/10/2026: On that late October evening, the warmth of the place was very pleasant. I dined at the entrance, but I felt very comfortable there, being a privileged guest. A white-based pizza, a glass of wine, and a profiterole to finish. It's an understatement, but I was very happy.

17/10/2026: We received a very warm welcome. A real treat, especially the baby squid. Fast service.

15/08/2026: Great atmosphere, Quentin the manager is ADORABLE, a real sweetheart! I had a great time and he even played some songs I requested because I felt like singing (thank you!). Honestly, I had a wonderful evening, it really cheered me up! P.S.: They have karaoke on Sundays 🥰
