25/02/2026: I rarely go to this bar, only with my friend Carmen, but the food is excellent, the cuisine is fantastic and very affordable. The staff is incredibly helpful and, above all, always smiling. As for the clientele, often regulars, they are very welcoming, just like the bar itself. They even say hello if they don't know you! A true hub of activity and conversation... not to be missed! Don't forget... the food is delicious, and if the sun is shining, you can eat on the terrace... pure bliss! 19/11/2025: Takeout order, 2 couscous dishes: 1 four-meat couscous 1 merguez couscous with double merguez sausage. Frozen chicken, frozen lamb, all wrapped in foil with no regard for proper hygiene. The photo speaks for itself. And the man on the phone told us, "Sir, even if the chicken is 2 or 3 days old and has been in the fridge, it's fine." Shameful.

20/03/2026: Excellent value for money, quiet location. Good and plentiful breakfast. Easy to find, its location south of Bayonne allows you to head towards Spain without being held up by morning traffic!

15/03/2026: Overall, I had a good stay. The room was generally pleasant. A minor point for improvement: the shower head could be checked, and adding a shower curtain would be helpful to prevent splashes in the bathroom. Thank you to Lola for her warm welcome and understanding at reception.

14/02/2026: The sushi pieces are of wildly inconsistent and uneven sizes, even on the same platter! It's glaringly obvious. Unbelievable. This is far from Japanese artistry; the lack of professionalism is blatant. I doubt the chef is even a specialist, and the coslaw and edamame that are offered are practically nonexistent on the platters. The portions are shrinking, it's obvious. And the price has gone up again. What a shame!

07/03/2026: I've heard about Cazenave chocolate for over 40 years. I went to try it recently and was disappointed by the quality of the frothy hot chocolate, which cost €7.90 and was served in a small cup. Furthermore, the tables are very close together inside: you have to squeeze past people to let them pass behind you. Finally, you have to wait outside the entrance for an employee to come and get you before you can sit down.

19/03/2026: Very disappointing! Our order arrived completely defective, which is shameful. We paid 60 euros, so I think I have a right to expect better. We placed the order at 7 pm and it only arrived at 8:40 pm, which is a bit long… and the sushi was poorly cut, which is unacceptable. Ultimately, not a good experience for the price.

16/02/2026: If I could have given zero stars, I would have. Last night, Saturday, February 14th (Valentine's Day), we treated ourselves and ordered takeout. We ordered two soups, two coleslaws, and a 34-piece platter (60 euros total). When we got home, the soup was good (although there was a lot of seaweed), but the coleslaw was rather bland, and the sushi had hard rice, rice that stuck to the box, and the maki and California rolls were completely tasteless. In total, 60 euros for something that wasn't even that good. Given that the sushi rice was sticky, it must have been made that morning and left in the fridge all day. I'm disgusted that I ordered such rubbish from them; the value for money was terrible. It's best to avoid this place. This is the first and last time we'll ever set foot in there. In response to your reply: I'll rephrase some of what I said: the rice in some pieces was hard, and in others it was stuck to the packaging. So, unfortunately, I have to assume that what I ate was made when I placed my order, but much earlier in the day... (I've ordered takeout sushi before, but this is the first time I've experienced what I got from you). This reflects on the quality of your food; for me, it really wasn't good, so yes, it was rubbish. Perhaps on a "normal" day everything is made to order, but on Valentine's Day, some things were planned as early as the lunch service.

22/02/2026: Two stars to encourage the waitress who is doing her best to satisfy the customers. The kitchen isn't working properly; they need to hire more staff or reduce the number of tables. An hour's wait for 2 x 9 oysters; the white wine had warmed up in the sun, and the children had already eaten the children's menu, which was very good.

01/02/2026: Friendly staff. Excellent oysters, fish and chips, glasses of wine and Irish coffee.

12/03/2026: Small hole-in-the-wall, but honestly, it's so good!

11/03/2026: Don't eat there, I was really sick all night and I won't be coming back.
