25/06/2026: We arrived on a weekday lunchtime during a heatwave and were lucky enough to have lunch at Ttipia, in a beautiful room that remained pleasantly cool thanks to its thick stone walls. The food was delicious and subtly spiced. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with large tables and very friendly staff. We were very happy with our meal!

I've eaten there several times and tried all the dishes on the menu; they're all very good, not to mention the very attractive prices for such high-quality ingredients. One of my favorite restaurants in Bayonne!

21/05/2026: Nice little restaurant, lunch on the terrace overlooking the square, simple, efficient, and inexpensive lunch menu. Very pleasant staff, very good food, although the Caesar salad had a bit too much dressing, but the presentation was original. The suckling pig and the small salad of baby squid and shrimp were excellent...

07/04/2026: A small, unassuming restaurant that doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is excellent, the prices very reasonable, and the waiter is passionate and attentive between courses. Note: reservations are essential as the restaurant is small! Highly recommended!

28/05/2026: Restaurant that charges undisclosed prices at the till. We had lunch on Whit Monday (a public holiday, a detail worth noting). Several set menus were offered: a starter/main course/dessert for €29.50 and a main course/dessert for €16.50, advertised as available Monday to Friday, without any further explanation. We ordered two main course/dessert options. The food was very good, which is worth mentioning. When we got to the counter to pay, after thoroughly enjoying our meal, we discovered an "à la carte" bill of €27.50 per person (a price completely pulled out of thin air, as it wasn't mentioned anywhere): the main course was charged at €19.50 and the dessert at €8. We were then told that the set menu (main course/dessert) did not apply on public holidays and that "the pricing is currently being reviewed with the manager." Please note that this type of practice, beyond being unacceptable from an experience standpoint, is illegal: under consumer law, prices and terms must be clearly displayed and communicated to the customer before ordering. This was also not done verbally by the waitress who could have informed us. We therefore left feeling disappointed, even though the experience had been good (the food was good and the waitresses very friendly, who were unfortunately just following management's instructions).

12/07/2026: Terrible food service, 30-minute wait for a carafe of water in the middle of a heatwave, 1-hour wait for 3 burgers and fries which arrived cold. The only good thing about the evening was the welcome and kindness of Ana. Avoid this place.

10/07/2026: We've dined here several times now. I'm not disappointed with the service at all. I recommend it to anyone I know or who is staying at the hotel.

28/12/2025: Eternal thanks to the TELLECHEA couple. The pear-trout-foie gras mille-feuille and, of course, Xamango's Parmentier will remain among the pinnacles of gastronomy. And those impromptu evenings with Jean-Claude... Nostalgia for a genuine authenticity punctuated by unwavering standards.

29/03/2026: It's not haute cuisine, but it's very good. And above all, the staff is incredibly friendly: the owner, the young waitress, and the cook. It's a shame we didn't have enough sauce for our fried food. But the baked egg was a superb combination.
