The value for money is truly perfect!
Just one small drawback: the wait between the main course and dessert was a bit long.
Their dog was very friendly; my son spent the whole time playing with it. Thank you so much!

10/08/2026: A bit dated, especially in a run-down area, but otherwise a Courtepaille just the way we like them and the kind that are becoming increasingly rare. Friendly waiters and quality food. The value for money is unbeatable these days.
It's a shame there aren't many restaurants left of this historic franchise.

We had some tapas as a starter and then pizzas.
The ham croquettes were really low quality, cooked in oil that hadn't been changed... (They were black).
The rabas (a type of flatbread) were the same, cooked in oil that hadn't been changed...
The Bayonne ham was too thick and had absolutely no flavor.
The worst part was the frozen pizzas. I mean, if you're going to eat pizza like that, you might as well have made one at home from the corner store...
A total rip-off!

It was a very pleasant meal here. The waitresses are excellent. It's totally worth the wait if the place is full.

28/12/2025: Eternal thanks to the TELLECHEA couple. The pear-trout-foie gras mille-feuille and, of course, Xamango's Parmentier will remain among the pinnacles of gastronomy. And those impromptu evenings with Jean-Claude... Nostalgia for a genuine authenticity punctuated by unwavering standards.

Simple but very good cuisine. Beautiful presentation, quick, efficient, and professional service.
It's a shame the inn is closing due to retirement 😭

Their caterer is fantastic; from the cocktail hour with its culinary stations to the main course and dessert, everything was a delight! The fruit tree was a huge hit with our guests.

13/06/2026: What a fantastic find! While on holiday in Bayonne, I went twice because I loved it so much! The café has a great vibe, the waitresses are lovely, and most importantly, the coffee is delicious. I tried the latte and the iced latte, both excellent. I also highly recommend the dark chocolate and hazelnut cookie – it was amazing!
09/06/2026: A lovely setting for afternoon tea. The vegan brownie was simply divine. Everything is delicious. The terrace is fantastic. I highly recommend it!

25/08/2026: Several experiences at different times of the day. Coffee in the morning. Lunch at midday. After-work drinks in the evening. Lovely waiter. Simple and delicious food at a reasonable price. Warm atmosphere, a place where locals of all ages seem to enjoy meeting up. I recommend it.

We had the beef tartare and pork pluma.
29/03/2026: It's not haute cuisine, but it's very good. And above all, the staff is incredibly friendly: the owner, the young waitress, and the cook.
It's a shame we didn't have enough sauce for our fried food. But the baked egg was a superb combination.

26/04/2026: We couldn't even get in for a drink because of the bouncer's attitude. He was arrogant and unpleasant; did the guy think he was a bouncer in Saint-Tropez? And the best part is, he's not even from the area… for a bar frequented only by locals, it's quite funny… I only advise against going there because of the bouncer's attitude.
