13/06/2026: What a fantastic find! While on holiday in Bayonne, I went twice because I loved it so much! The café has a great vibe, the waitresses are lovely, and most importantly, the coffee is delicious. I tried the latte and the iced latte, both excellent. I also highly recommend the dark chocolate and hazelnut cookie – it was amazing!
09/06/2026: A lovely setting for afternoon tea. The vegan brownie was simply divine. Everything is delicious. The terrace is fantastic. I highly recommend it!

24/05/2026: I was served pastries (pain au chocolat and croissant) that were completely stale. They were inedible. One more star for the Basque cake, which was good, but a small portion for the price.

21/05/2026: The chef is very friendly, as is the lady who serves him, and it's well worth the trip. Real pizzas, super generously topped, absolutely top-notch! A chef who knows how to tantalize his customers' taste buds... Go for it, you won't be disappointed... We're from the Landes region, and we'll be back. Unfortunately, there's nothing like it where we live between Biscarrosse and Arcachon...

A very welcoming and friendly gentleman, excellent pizzas at a more than reasonable price.
It's poorly located in the city, which is a shame because it has great potential. I highly recommend it.

05/07/2026: The €30 set menu was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish.
My wife ordered the mussels and also loved them, with a perfectly seasoned parsley sauce thanks to the Espelette pepper. This restaurant is definitely worth discovering, and I will certainly return.

20/05/2026: I knew this restaurant from having lunch there a few years ago; the portions were generous, and the pizzas were good. Today, that's no longer the case. We ordered a sharing platter of baby squid, and we received six lukewarm and bland pieces. Then we ordered two salads with burrata, which were sparsely garnished (two lettuce leaves and five strips of marinated zucchini). We had to ask for the pesto, which was missing! And we were given a "ladleful" of pesto on our two meager salads... We watched the pizzas go by; they were sparsely topped, visibly smaller than expected, and the crust wasn't cooked. The servers were quite friendly, but there's definitely a staffing problem in the kitchen. In short, we won't be going back anytime soon.
19/05/2026: Excellent restaurant. Welcoming staff and quality cuisine. The daily special was very good and very reasonably priced.
We highly recommend it.

08/06/2026: I'm only posting this review about the service and unfortunately not about the food, as we didn't have the chance to try the brasserie, which, however, has excellent reviews for its meals. We arrived at 1:45 PM, hoping to order crepes and waffles, as well as hot drinks for two, and the place wasn't crowded since there were seats both inside and outside. We would have understood the refusal if we had arrived during the midday lunch service, but given the time, I think the other diners were closer to dessert than appetizers!
However, you can be happy, sir, because thanks to you, we were able to enjoy delicious food at Maison Lascaray, and the person who greeted and served us was very professional, kind, and attentive.

20/05/2026: I ordered a custom cake for my daughter's birthday (10 people) and here's the result.
Aesthetic: magnificent, perfect down to the smallest detail 👍👍
Taste:
The request was for a strawberry cake with equal amounts of cake, cream, and strawberries.
The result was far from perfect!!! 🤨 A cake with a pastis flavor, way too much cake, very dry, and completely unbalanced with the rest of the cake. Three strawberries barely standing at all… what a shame!!
For the price paid, €100 or more, the cake was inedible. Huge disappointment!!! 👎👎👎 So, is it better to have a delicious cake that's perhaps less pretty, but certainly cheaper?
Or
a beautiful, expensive cake that's TERRIBLE 🤷♀️
Not to mention the complete lack of communication for ordering or receiving the cake… It's impossible to call.
