03/10/2026: There are two gluten-free options on the menu, both sweet. We had a sort of "healthy" dark chocolate bar with an almond flour base, peanut butter, and a chocolate topping. It was good. A cortado was €2.90. A bit pricey, but the service was good, and it was the only gluten-free place we found open in the afternoon (at 4 pm; this place closed at 6:30 pm). The place is nice, and the service was friendly.

27/09/2026: Spectacular views of the Midi D’Osseau, while you can eat or have a cocktail.

10/08/2026: Honest pub, with happy hour from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM... Right next to the Pau promenade. We took advantage of it for a couple of pints.

25/07/2026: A popular bar with a great terrace, unfortunately it's also the bar where we received the worst possible service. One waitress was unfriendly, bordering on insulting.

12/09/2026: I was very disappointed with my experience at the drive-thru today. I was alone in my car and had two bags to pick up. After taking the first one, I simply placed it on the passenger seat so I could get the second. The person who gave me the second bag started shaking it, repeatedly saying "come on, come on, come on," as if to tell me to hurry up. I found this behavior particularly inappropriate and disrespectful. I understand that it can be busy and that people need to be quick, but that's no reason to pressure customers like that. I find this behavior unacceptable and I wanted to report it. A little respect and patience would be greatly appreciated.

02/06/2026: I came with two friends and we had a wonderful time. The service was discreet, efficient, and very professional. The dishes were served with great care; even in a bistro setting, you could feel the genuine attention paid to each plate, both in terms of taste and presentation. The cocktails were excellent, and the setting is simply perfect. Admittedly, the prices might seem a bit high, but the experience more than justifies them. This isn't my first visit, and it's always a pleasure to return. A truly wonderful place that I recommend without hesitation. Congratulations to the kitchen staff and the teams who handle the service and reception at the hotel.

02/06/2026: We've seen many reviews about this café/restaurant... very mixed. Personally, we live in the Pau area and love coming here for a drink. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant, and the setting in Beaumont Park is lovely. We ate here tonight, and the food and gourmet coffee were excellent. No complaints whatsoever, and the waiter was fantastic. We think it deserves top marks for this type of service, and a special mention goes to the waiter. We'll definitely be back.

04/05/2026: Wow, the best kofte sandwich of my life! It's easily in my top three best sandwiches ever. Everything is homemade, the meat is perfectly seasoned and spiced… incredible, you have to taste it to understand! And the atmosphere is welcoming, friendly, and convivial, with zouk music playing in the background! Thank you, Refik!

26/09/2026: A very good experience at Café Russe in Pau! The atmosphere is pleasant, the service is friendly. A welcoming place where you can have a good time, whether for a drink or a snack. I highly recommend it!

24/09/2026: For over a year and a half now, I've been coming here and I've had the pleasure of meeting a fantastic team, always kind and smiling. I highly recommend going; the prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is always great.

19/08/2026: No complaints about the service. However, the quality of the food and the chef's attitude make one long for the days when this brasserie was renowned. Indeed, the ribeye steak I was served, besides being overcooked (I ordered it rare), was ridiculously small and, above all, extremely tough, to the point that I had to send it back. The cook sent it back with the sinew removed (a quarter of the steak) and the rest cut into small pieces! So I returned the plate to him and endured his disdainful attitude. I finally left having only ordered a starter, a tiny portion of overly vinegary baby squid.

03/08/2026: A wonderful dinner at Brasserie Royale; the shepherd's pie and the flank steak were very good. The fries were excellent. The caramelized shallots were slightly undercooked and not quite caramelized. The crème brûlée, made with real vanilla, was delicious. One negative point, however, is that it's not possible to pay more than half the bill with holiday vouchers. That's disappointing.

29/05/2026: It's changed its name: O'Fast Good But really just Good. It could become Fast again if the boss puts down his cigarette and tea to help his employee… The food lives up to what you'd expect from a kebab

23/05/2026: I stopped by on a whim and I'm really not disappointed. I'll gladly come back; it just goes to show that chance works in mysterious ways.

05/09/2026: I ordered the Peking duck and was quite disappointed. The meat was dry and there was hardly any sauce, which made the dish really unpleasant to eat. A shame, because I was expecting much better for a Saturday night.

10/07/2026: I had a wonderful meal at Mekong with a friend. Upon arriving in Pau, it wasn't Béarn culture I discovered, but rather Asian culture. That evening, entering this unassuming establishment, the red LEDs and the magnificent bar transported me to Chungking Express, one of my favorite Wong Kar-wai films. The manager was very attentive and even offered us shrimp chips.

06/04/2026: The pelota court restaurant. Not quite the same quality as before, but the atmosphere is still there. Excellent value for money.

15/07/2026: The bar has a good atmosphere, however the staff should pay attention to their personal lives which seem to be detrimental to the customers.
