Yes, there's a hefty surcharge on the menu, but frankly, it's worth the trip. The waitstaff was very professional; kudos to these two very friendly young men. If you're looking for a truly good bouchon (traditional Lyonnais restaurant), don't hesitate to stop by Comptoir Chabert.

The Korean fried chicken had a unique and delicious sauce with a hint of fermented bean curd, and the pickled radish was refreshing and helped cut through the richness. The raw beef bibimbap was also a pleasant surprise; the beef was fresh, and the overall flavor was good. The grilled pork was tasty, but the portion was small. We also ordered rice wine, which was served in a retro-style metal pot with small bowls—a whole pot! For dessert, we had milk shaved ice with soybean powder and red bean mochi—so satisfying!

We were welcomed by a warm and professional team who answered all our questions and satisfied our curiosity about the different dishes and wines. The dishes were delicious: a gourmet starter, a main course of exquisite finesse, and a surprising and flavorful dessert (don't be fooled by the photo; the condiments are arranged in a mosaic under the waffle to ensure a new discovery with every bite). The icing on the cake was the very reasonable price. Thank you to the entire team for this delightful experience that satisfied both our taste buds and our stomachs!

A charming setting, full of character, where you immediately feel at ease. Seduced by the atmosphere and a menu showcasing the great Lyonnaise specialties, we naturally decided to extend the experience at our table. And what a lovely surprise! 😍 A huge thank you to the owner for her warm welcome, her kindness, and her hospitality, as well as to Mehdi, our waiter, who truly made our lunch shine! With his infectious energy, his humor, his respect, and his remarkable sense of service, he created an incredible atmosphere within our small group. A true ray of sunshine, just like the restaurant's name! ☀️ We thoroughly enjoyed discovering and tasting Lyon's specialties in a spirit of sharing, good humor, and conviviality.
