12/06/2026: We had a very good meal; the portions were generous and everything was served quickly. For starters, a special mention goes to the eggs meurette and the Lyonnaise salad, which were both excellent. For our main course, we had quenelles, which were plentiful and very well prepared. A special mention for the praline tart, which was simply superb—in short, I highly recommend it and don't hesitate to make a reservation.

12/06/2026: The food was delicious, and the portions were very generous. The food at Restaurant Café du Soleil was generally very good, and the menu was quite comprehensive. However, the portions were truly enormous, much larger than I expected. One person ordering just one dish would be quite full, and might even be unable to finish. The prices didn't seem cheap, but considering the portions, it was understandable. I suggest not ordering too much; if you don't have a big appetite, you can share with a few people, or order less.

12/08/2026: Excellent restaurant. Limited menu, which guarantees fresh ingredients. Very good and exotic dishes. Top-notch wines. The atmosphere matches. But you don't come here for the wine. Impeccable service. Small dining room, creating a cozy ambiance.

24/07/2026: 4* deduction!! Warning! Additional fees are being illegally charged on non-F credit cards! This is prohibited in the EU!! To the boss - absolutely unacceptable! Shame on you!!

18/07/2026: Delicious food with remarkable flavours served on the terrace, accompanied by a fantastic white wine from Albert Boxler (Gewürztraminer Réserve 2014). Unfortunately, the wine wasn’t served cold enough and had been placed in the cooler on the dirty ground (cigarette ends etc).

14/08/2026: The service was exceptionally friendly. It seems to be a favorite spot for regulars. I loved the relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with affordable and very well-prepared dishes.

12/08/2026: Super cute wine bar for lovers of natural wine. We drank whites and reds, all very funky. Tapas are a must because they're really good. English-friendly If you're in Lyon, definitely go!

15/08/2026: Good restaurant for the price... I've known this place for a long time and I have to admit that I find the food isn't as good as it used to be... what a shame 😭

11/08/2026: From the outside, you might think, "Well, okay." But inside! A typically kitschy-sweet Asian ambiance, incredibly delicious food, lovingly prepared and served. The service is extremely attentive and fast. Absolutely worth a visit if you want delicious sushi. Definitely a "bon retour"!

06/07/2026: A very nice Irish pub, with typical Irish decor and a very friendly bartender. You can watch matches while enjoying a good cider or Guinness with a smile from the staff 😊. I didn't try the food, so I can't comment on that.

24/05/2026: The food is worthy of a true Lyonnais bistro: simple yet delicious. Impeccable service. Friendly, warm, and attentive staff. The establishment is clean, and the restrooms are very well maintained, unlike some other restaurants where hygiene is deplorable.

17/07/2026: February 14th... Our second visit to this restaurant, and what an experience it was! Here, you don't just have lunch or dinner; you live an exceptional moment: olfactory, sensory, gustatory, visual... The chef's creativity is inspiring and boundless; each dish becomes a journey, an emotion in its own right. The front-of-house team demonstrates remarkable discretion and attentiveness. Each bite is like a delicate whisper, each announcement of a dish a promise invariably kept. A huge congratulations! We are already eagerly awaiting our third visit...

17/08/2026: My boyfriend and I went there on a whim. I don't regret it at all!! Generous portions for the price, lovely servers, a very kind chef, and above all... The food was excellent. We ordered carbonara and truffle pasta. Usually, when I order something with truffle, the flavor is overpowering (often it's just flavored oil), but here the flavor was subtle and didn't overpower the other dishes. The carbonara was simply incredible. For drinks, we had an Italian beer. A wonderful, light, and very good table beer. And a limoncello spritz, also very good and nicely sweet! I highly recommend it.

16/08/2026: The best place to eat in Lyon!! The staff was amazing and so was the food!! Big plates and delicious flavor, the gelato was awesome!! We love it sooooo much!!!

14/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at Le Fav! It felt like we were on holiday in Lyon! The sommelier and the waitstaff were very welcoming and offered excellent advice. We had a truffle croque monsieur and a filet mignon, which were a delight for our taste buds, paired with a blonde beer with a twist of lime. We'll be back to enjoy another Chartreuse! See you soon!

29/07/2026: Located in Old Lyon, this restaurant offers excellent service. The portions are generous, but we were aware of that beforehand. The price is very reasonable. The hot dishes were very good, but the salads were less impressive, which was a shame.

25/07/2026: We ate here with friends while traveling to the area for a business conference, and it was a good experience overall. The restaurant is well decorated and located in a touristy part of Vieux Lyon. The food was okay. Over the course of the two weeks I spent in Lyon, I ate at a few bouchons, and I didn't think the food here quite measured up to some of the others, but it was still enjoyable for what it was. It's a great location to sit outside, watch people pass by, and have a decent meal. The servers were lovely and engaging. As I mentioned, the location and atmosphere were probably the highlights of the experience.

25/07/2026: A very pleasant surprise for us as we were heading to a Candlelight concert at the basilica. The dishes were delicious and generous, the service warm, and the small terrace very pleasant (even in the thunderstorm).

19/05/2026: Disaster! The brunch was really bad, the glasses were dirty. It's a cool place for drinks, but not for a meal.
