29/09/2026: The food was OK, but VERY VERY expensive for what it is. The staff were very nice, but quite incompetent. The service was really bad. Anyway, at least I tried it. "Hello, Thank you for your response, which only confirms the level of service and lack of professionalism I experienced. Since you mentioned my budget and chose condescension instead of welcoming feedback, I feel compelled to detail exactly why the experience was disastrous: We arrived and were seated at a table in the back. Even with the restaurant practically empty, we waited between 10 and 15 minutes just to be served. We ordered two cocktails that took a long time to arrive, even though they were tasty. The peak of disorganization came soon after: the main course was served before the appetizers. Regarding the meats, the service was extremely spaced out, with the waiter passing by every half hour, making the pace of the dinner chaotic. I requested a Guaraná soda. I asked again, and again — at least 3 or 4 times. Instead of the soda, they brought a cocktail that we hadn't ordered. We had to reiterate our request for the Guaraná and wait again. After finishing dinner, we ordered the appetizers that should have been served." Initially, since they never arrived at the table despite our requests, we had to ask for them to be packed to go so we could eat them at home. To make matters worse, at the time of payment, we witnessed the waiter and the cashier arguing about a problem between themselves, in front of us, forcing us to wait another 2 to 3 minutes. This demonstrates a total lack of professionalism. The problem has nothing to do with the menu or the amount invested — we paid around 120 euros and expected at least organization. The staff may be nice, but the incompetence and inattention in the service were unacceptable. Have a good day.”

27/09/2026: This restaurant is a real gem in Lyon, one of the few you find! Everything is there for a wonderful evening: the food, the atmosphere, the service… The owners and servers are exceptionally kind. I can't wait to go back!

20/09/2026: A friend from Lyon had recommended this bouchon, a restaurant she's known her whole life. It's a family-run establishment. We weren't disappointed. Everything was delicious and homemade with quality ingredients. We started with cervelle de canuts (a cheese spread) as an appetizer to share, followed by oeufs meurette (eggs poached in red wine sauce), delicious pike quenelles, rum baba for me, and crème brûlée for my husband. A real treat!

10/10/2026: We went for dinner. The food was average. Nothing special. A bit overpriced. Personally, I wouldn't go back.

20/09/2026: Lovely table in a secluded corner just past the Charvet clock. Very pleasant and friendly service (you feel comfortable, even very comfortable) and perfectly executed cuisine. In short, a place to go back to again and again...😉

For this price, you expect better than heavy, poorly executed, and clearly overpriced food. Don't waste your time or money here. A €35 "Lyonnais menu," and honestly, it's not worth it. The main courses feel closer to fast food than to a proper Lyonnais. The tripe is buried under a coating that's far too thick—more like cheap fried chicken than a classic Lyonnais dish. 25/09/2026: I loved this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious: a special mention for the butter chicken, and the restaurant's interior makes for a truly immersive experience (music and decor)! Plus, the waiter was discreet and very kind!!

10/10/2026: A lovely evening for two at Le Boeuf d'Argent, where we chose the Émotion and vegetarian menus. The ingredients were high quality, the meat was excellent, the service attentive and helpful, and the wine list very well-stocked. However, we found the offerings a bit underwhelming considering the price. The vegetarian menu, priced almost the same as the regular menu, consisted solely of radish, with no other plant-based protein. At a time when we're increasingly talking about rebalancing our diets with more plant-based protein, this is a shame, and it makes the price difficult to justify. A welcoming restaurant with excellent service, but the vegetarian options could be more refined and generous.
