20/07/2026: Frankly disappointed with our lunch. After waiting for 20 minutes when there were very few customers, both dishes—paupiette and mashed potatoes—arrived completely cold. We had to send them back, and they replaced them. Then, the French toast dessert was neither soft nor fresh; it was still frozen. We also pointed this out, but... nothing came of it. It was the first and last time at this restaurant. I do not recommend it.

30/07/2026: This isn't the first time I've ordered from them and I've always been very satisfied, but this time it was a horrible experience. Half of my order was missing and on top of that, I threw it all up... even though I love this brand and I've never had any problems before.

27/07/2026: I confess, I went there reluctantly. My husband loves going to Gill's. For me, the menu is boring. It's been the same since they opened! Beef tartare, salmon gravlax, duck, and calf's head... Let's go for the calf's head, which is rarely found in restaurants. I've had it before, and it was good. This time, I was served an unpresentable veal ratafia (see photo) that was barely fresh. The potato was reheated, and the veal stock sauce was tasteless. I would have preferred carefully cut pieces and a vinaigrette with gherkins for acidity. Clearly, the chef was also asleep at the wheel! However, the excellent glass of Burgundy made up for it. The desserts are good. My husband comes back time and again for the crème caramel, a guaranteed success, the best in all of western France! Special mention goes to the wait staff, who were very friendly and professional. They acknowledged the mistake and removed a calf's head from the bill. It was a nice touch, and such a gesture is rare enough to be worth noting.

21/05/2026: small lovely place for ramen/soba. Worth the travel! The skewer was also extremely delicious and the soba noodles were so chewy. careful thought was put into creating these dishes.

04/07/2026: Pickle tray arrived with a single small (and soft) popadom. nan bread arrived a long time before meal, so they were cold when our mains arrived. Food was bland and lacking spices, but maybe that;s a local preference. Worst Indian food we've ever had and we're from Bradford!

30/07/2026: Amazing ambience for drinks, and it was really lively even on a Wednesday night. The super friendly lady bartender was really nice to help me out with picking something from their 25 taps of different craft beers.

28/06/2026: It was great to find a place open late at night in Rouen. The staff was very friendly, polite, and welcoming—thanks to them. However, the pizza itself was disappointing. The dough wasn't very good, and the ingredients used were mediocre. For a pizza priced at €24, the value for money is unfortunately quite poor. The only positive aspects were the late-night availability and the great staff.
