01/12/2025: We ordered through Uber Eats. Once the order and payment were complete, I immediately noticed an error in the restaurant's address. I didn't have the option to cancel or modify the order through the app. So I called the restaurant. The person I spoke to told me it wouldn't be possible to cancel because they had too many orders and it would take too long to go to the kitchen and search using my name. Then the manager took the phone and tried to explain why my order couldn't be canceled. I confess I didn't understand any of the explanations. It was impossible to communicate with this person, who was clearly more frustrated by the situation than I was. We regret having experienced this ridiculous and unprofessional behavior.

20/04/2025: We went to this restaurant a few weeks ago with my team and frankly, for a lunch, everything was perfect. In terms of organization, the L'Ardoise team was very accommodating and agreed to send us the menu in advance so that we could make our choice and submit it to them so that the meal could be prepared on time. The prices are ultra competitive: concretely, Main course + dessert + drink + free coffee = €14.50. Perfect for the budget and in particular in this area of ​​Rouen which sometimes tends to raise prices easily. Certainly, the choices are limited, but that's not bad (in general, few dishes on a menu = guaranteed freshness ++ on the plate, which is the case here). The bagel is notably served with homemade soup as well as a small salad and for dessert, there are quite a few choices. Speed, seriousness, freshness, simple and effective. If you want to eat lunch in Rouen or for a meal with colleagues, I highly recommend L'Ardoise!

20/11/2025: Hello, I went with my mother to Marionnaud on Monday, November 17th, which wasn't open yet. I decided to have a coffee and sit down because my 88-year-old mother had very painful legs but didn't want coffee. The waitress told us that wasn't possible because my mother had to order something, which she did. I want to emphasize that this wasn't the waitress's fault; the instructions came from her boss. Shame on this so-called restaurant owner! I'm in the business, and I would never have done that. If several of us had come to a table and only one person wanted to order something, then I would understand. Sir, you're here to make money, and I understand that because it's a business, but forcing half the customers to buy something is no longer good service. You should be in a different line of work. If I had been your waiter, it wouldn't have happened like that, I guarantee you. My conclusion is: AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!
