26/03/2026: I've been there several times and have never been disappointed. It's a cozy restaurant with two major advantages: a large terrace and its proximity to the banks of the Marne, perfect for a stroll before or after your meal. The service is always friendly and professional. The dishes are high quality and sometimes quite original (on my last Sunday visit, I had a calamari and chorizo appetizer, chicken ballotine, and apple tart). It's best to make a reservation. A great place to know about!

02/03/2026: As a lover of good food and wine, I highly recommend dining at the Hippopotamus restaurant. The manager, Achour, and the waitresses are fantastic, both in terms of their interpersonal skills and their efficiency.

03/04/2026: Very good restaurant, the food is excellent, and the service is impeccable. The noise level is also acceptable; it has a very intimate atmosphere.
It doesn't factor into my rating, but being on a boat can be a little unsettling as it rocks a bit at times. If this might bother some people, I'll let them know beforehand. A Coke and a burger cost me 21 euros, which is very reasonable for the area.

17/02/2026: I love coming to eat here. The welcome is warm, you feel comfortable, and above all, the food is really excellent: it's delicious.
30/01/2026: Deliveroo order. Shameful portions… A tray of vegetable noodles for €14 that doesn't even contain enough to feed a child. The few frozen vegetables are waterlogged.
The same goes for the tiny tray of white rice.
The meats in the M1 menu weren't good. Avoid this place if you're hungry.

02/04/2026: We were very hungry on our way back from our walking tour in Paris and happened to stop by this place. Their food is very good, extremely tasty and the servings are heaping. Would recommend this place if you happen to be in the neighborhood!
