17/09/2024: Great bakery! The offers are great and the prices are great! Not to mention the bread and everything else delicious! Small downside regarding the team, some are not very friendly or smiling. Damage.

23/08/2024: came for lunch, we were very very disappointed with this brasserie, arrived at 12:25 p.m. for a quick lunch before going back to work, 50 minutes later, the first course finally arrives, (sea casserole) the dish is lukewarm, the fish is dry and the pasta is hard, impossible to finish, it's so unappetizing waiting another 40 minutes to finally see the frozen dessert (frozen nougat) we will not come back, too much waiting for very mediocre products

20/08/2024: A pitiful and ridiculous Kebab sandwich with its 2 pieces of meat and its overpriced frozen baguette! I've known this place for 20 years, at the beginning good and now a tourist trap, you come to eat because you're hungry not to get ripped off for 1 piece of meat and to order a pizza you have to wait 2 hours... Ridiculous This soup seller has become pitiful! big head because he's all alone, we take advantage of it eh...

13/08/2024: Very special - great dishes and a lovely service but overwhelmed kitchen makes waiting times too long. We were the first guests to arrive and still waited 45m for 3 dishes. Food 5*

10/08/2024: La cuisine est sympa, l'équipe est adorable, mais la gestion de peu de couverts est laborieuse, on croirait qu'ils ont ouvert avant-hier... Le spectacle est en cuisine! Mais la qualité dans l'assiette est là, fraicheur des produits et cuisine maison. A recommander, seulement si vous n'êtes pas du tout pressé...

29/08/2024: We wanted to have lunch in this restaurant yesterday at 1:30 p.m. Apparently the remaining ten or so empty tables had to be reserved because we were told it was full. We didn't necessarily see many more people an hour later when leaving the restaurant opposite. It is true that full does not necessarily mean that all the tables are full. Perhaps it is a lack of personnel but it was not considered appropriate to explain this to us at the time. It is therefore impossible for me to give an opinion on their cuisine.

31/08/2024: Seuls pour manger à 2 un samedi midi. Accueil impersonnel, cuisine bonne. Pas de proposition de harissa. Pas de possibilité de regarder correctement les pâtisseries orientales… afin de faire son choix. Très bon thé à la menthe, mais un tout petit verre servi rapidement sans possibilité de se resservir, puisque théière enlevée. Chien accepté.

16/09/2024: This evening, I came to receive a package purchased on Rakuten and deposited here, received since the previous Saturday but which I had not had time to receive (I wanted to do it on Wednesday, but the place is closed every Wednesday). This night, I receive a text message again telling me that my package has arrived here. I arrive here at around 7:40 p.m. I ask for my package to be received. Answer: "No, I'm going on vacation tomorrow. The postman came to pick up the packages. He can't come at midnight, since I close at 8:00 p.m.." I leave the place a little disappointed and angry. Fortunately, I have the presence to call back the location and another person answers me "The packages have been left at the post office on rue Clémenceau." Good. Thank you for the information, but when I tell her that I have just broken my nose at the bar to receive the package, she says to me: "Ah well, well normally, you should have received an SMS explaining to you that your package had just be removed from the bar." I'm sorry, but that wasn't the case. Basically, when it comes to receiving packages and communicating, we are obviously doing better than here. (08/25/2024): In addition, I wanted to go there on Wednesday but it was closed, and so I said to myself "OK for Friday at the end of the day", unfortunately, no communication therefore: On vacation for fifteen days, therefore the parcels and colissimos already deposited at La Poste. If I had had the information that they would be closed from Saturday August 24 and that consequently the parcels and colissimos would already no longer be available on Friday August 23 after 6:43 p.m., I would have really arranged at all costs to pick up or ask someone to pick up my package for me earlier in the week!! A word of advice: When the Bar-PMU closes (for holidays or a non-working day, like Wednesday for example), remember to hire someone so that the people who receive packages at your home can still come look for them. That would prevent people from breaking their noses like I did last Friday! (09/05/2024): In fact, this problem does not seem to come from the Les Arcades bar (apart from the fact that if I had known that the bar closed for a week between August 24 and August 31, knowing that this colissimo was normally received at their home on August 17, I would have rushed to pick it up between the 19th and 23rd, but not to show up on the 23rd just after the postman came to pick up the Colissimos Apparently, yes,. the postman did something stupid by sending my Colissimo back to Yvelines, because I apparently made a complaint, which I don't think I made. 04/08/2024: Ma brochette de viande rouge, même avec de bonnes dents, était immangeable (heureusement pour mon portefeuille que je n'en avais pris qu'une !). Selon la serveuse, "ça arrive qu'il y ait des morceaux qui ne sont pas tendres". Je n'ai pas voulu polémiquer avec elle, de toute façon elle n'y pouvait rien, mais moi qui venait pour manger de la bonne viande rouge chez un spécialiste, c'était raté. C'est le boucher qu'il faut changer s'il n'est pas capable de servir de la viande tendre. Lors d'un passage précédent, alors que nous venions pour manger un chili con carne, il n'y en avait plus (et ce n'était pas bien sûr indiqué sur la carte, sinon nous ne serions pas rentrés ...) c'est vu, je n'y retournerai pas

16/09/2024: 2 coffees ordered. Lots of waiting. Only 1 cupcake forced to ask for the other. A white cup that only has the name. Very used. Whereas before there were older dishes, clean and typical of a café. We used to have coffee on Sundays and it was always full of customers. Now it's almost empty. Change of boss, Change of servers. It's no longer worth anything. Too bad Café L'Escale, it was an address in St Gilles....
