05/12/2024: I had wanted to come for a very long time, I did and I was not disappointed. Pretty garden setting with all kinds of aromatics which must be pleasant on sunny days. Very warm welcome and tasty dishes. Experience to repeat

03/08/2024: J'ai appelé la semaine dernière pour réserver pour ce samedi 3 août, la dame au téléphone a pris ma réservation, mes coordonnées ect... nous avons fait 1h30 de route pour trouver le restaurant fermé !! Heureusement que vos confrères dans la même rue sont bien plus commerçant. Une honte, restaurant non sérieux à fuir !!!

13/05/2024: Nous sommes venus dans ce restaurant en utilisant une smartbox (valeur 60eur). D'entree on nous dit qu'on nous prendra 5 euros de "taxe" car on vient avec une smartbox... que ça leur coute de l'argent... passons... On peut soit disant, contre quelques euros de plus changer notre plat, chose que nous faisons pour l'un de nous. On a le droit a une boisson dans notre box nous prenons un apero... S'en suis une LONGUE attente, certains arrivés apres nous sont servis avant nous. On se sent oublié ! arrive le dessert ... plus de choix, le dessert voulu a été victime de son succes, ça arrive ... on opte donc pour les patisseries à emporter (2 pieces par personnes indiquées dans le menu)... hors dans la boite on a que 2 pieces... choses que l'on fait constater... on nous réponds qu'elle a mis des plus grosse part... alors que sur la table a coté jai vu les mêmes ! bref on nous prends pour des lapins mais ce n'est que le début ! via le moment de l'addition ! +9euros pour avoir changé UN plat !!! on nous fait payer les aperos car dans la box est indiqué un vers de vin et on ne l'a pas eu car pas demandé ! +10 euros de taxe 1 dessert pour deux le tout pour 24 eur de plus... Conclusion: Le repas etait bon, nous avons passé un bon moment malgré la longue attente... jusqu’à l'addition ou on nous a pris vraiment pour des imbéciles.... c'est vraiment regrettable, nous avons fait beaucoup de restos c'est la premières fois que l'on est traité de la sorte. A fuir si vous utiliser une smartbox !

13/06/2025: How sad to see this old palace falls into total disrepair ! Everything is dilapidated, the carpet stained, the bathroom dilapidated, the bedding approximate, the roller shutters stuck half open or lowered, the curtains too short … the list is unfortunately endless. Great admiration for the staff who continue to work in this establishment, the welcome is pleasant whether at the reception or at the bar. In 1920, Joseph Aletti took over the management of the Thermal Palace, making it one of the jewels of his Société des Grands Hôtels de Vichy (S.G.H.V.). The hotel continues to welcome its guests under the name Aletti Palace, the last Belle Époque establishment still in operation. At its peak, the Queen of Spa Towns boasted no fewer than six palaces worthy of the name: the Carlton, the International, the Majestic, the Parc, the Ruhl (or Radio), and the Thermal. Now known as the Aletti, the Thermal Palace is the only one to survive; the others have been converted into apartments. The lobby is still entered through the mahogany revolving door. Adorned with a badge bearing the Frémont family's letters, the reception desk faces the staircase, whose banister is adorned with ironwork by Eugène Goujon. The woodwork of its Ascot bar is made from old hotel doors, its stained-glass windows come from Londonderry House, owned by a prominent British aristocratic family, and its restaurant, La Véranda, with its disappointing food, is housed in what was once Villa Strauss. With 129 rooms and reception halls, some of which have retained their original layout, the Aletti Palace regularly serves as a filming location. Jean-Paul Rappeneau's film Bon Voyage received the 2004 César Award for Best Set Design. As for artists scheduled to perform at the Opera, they need only cross the street to reach the stage, as did Madeleine Renaud, Yehudi Menuhin, and Rudolf Nureyev, to name a few.

19/09/2024: Too expensive for a fairly basic meal, like at home. It's a shame because it's good but the presentation is really basic, a pickle with the slice of terrine. Nothing with the lasagna, not a leaf of salad (or even a small salad with sauce, it generally goes very well together). Applesauce in a ramekin with a piece of waffle. Everything seems well homemade, but for around twenty euros with a beer, I would have liked more style because it's pretty good. The room next to the bar, on the other hand, is too much of a “worker’s meal”. You should perhaps favor this restaurant on weekends in the dining room with the more expensive menus to find more satisfaction.

21/07/2024: Thank you for this excellent working meal served during our bike ride. We acted like a diva by wanting to eat outside and then no and no thought whatsoever. The meal was perfect for the trip.

22/06/2024: De passage à Saint-Aubin, nous avons déjeuné dans cette charmante auberge. Un accueil chaleureux, un menu du jour très correct fait maison, et une mention particulière pour l'excellent dessert !

09/06/2024: notre groupe de 23 personnes a été super bien accueilli avec le sourire la soirée s'est très bien déroulée. de l'apéritif au dessert, tout était très bien présenté et d'une très bonne qualité. merci beaucoup pour les fraises , très appréciées par Noé. Le patron est venu plusieurs fois pour voir si tout ce passait bien et pour discuter un peu avec nous. nous recommandons cette auberge sans aucune restriction.

03/09/2024: Alles behalve een aangename ervaring. Weinig tot geen keuze voor de kinderen en de bediening liet de wensen over. De ravioli met langoustines was voor 95% gevuld met spinazie en smaakloos. Het voorgerecht was dan wel echt top en lekker bij iedereen. De escargots zijn zeker een aanrader. Voor het dessert kozen we een kaasbordje, selectie van 3 kazen. Na 45 minuten en 3 keer vragen waar het nagerecht blijft, zijn we vertrokken zonder kaas. Wel aangerekend maar geen compensatie ontvangen…

26/07/2023: The place doesn't look like much but the pizzas are really good! Thin pastry and generous filling. I know that there are two pizzerias in the village and what I also know is that this one is excellent! Average price. You can even drink a beer while waiting for your order.

13/07/2023: Regarding the pizzas, the dough is not good, the topping is not worth more. And so, 4 33cm pizzas ordered and paid for, only to discover, too late, that they were 29cm pizzas. Good luck but this will be the one and only experience for us.
