29/06/2024: Nous avons commandé pom Périgourdine C'était bon mais , pas de vinaigrette dans la salade, nous n'avons pas eu de sauce aux morilles encore moins les gésiers. La qualité des produits sont toujours correcte, mais l' assiette reste pauvre et pas aussi gourmande qu'avant . L' ambiance est nulle , juste une petite serveuse très souriante, et très professionnelle . La vaisselle de table est sale , surtout les verres .

11/08/2024: Belle terrasse ombragée au calme et au frais. Accueil très sympathique. Menu sans fausse note, de l'apéritif au dessert, nous nous sommes régalés ! Assiettes chaudes (un détail mais pourtant qui fait la différence parfois), poisson "nacré": cuisson parfaite, saveurs subtiles dans les sauces. Nous recommandons et nous y retournerons sans hésiter. 1 Menu à 28 EUR et 1 Menu à 40 EUR sinon A la Carte bien sûr. "Invité impromptu" en fin de repas : hérisson dans la haie !

20/07/2024: Venus suite aux commentaires très positifs sur TripAdvisor, nous avons déjeuné ce midi. Un cadre extérieur plein de charme. Une table nappée et un tarif a 28€ (formule mise en bouche, entrée, plat, plateau de fromages, dessert) très compétitif... cela presageait un service de qualité. Une carte remplie de fautes d'orthographe!!! Cela nous fait sourire, mais on y croit, car la serveuse Manon est attentionnée. Malheusement... Une mise en bouche sans assaisonnement, fade, du pain industriel, une entrée catastrophique!!!!! (Un "gaspacho" qui ressemble à un bouillon jaunâtre trop pimenté, qui sent peu la tomate avec 2 croûtons, et avec de la graisse qui flotte à la surface (provenant certainement du lard qui est noyé dans le fond du bouillon), un plat "correct" mais très basique (saumon sans peau, sauce citron avec une texture pas homogène, 1 Radis, 1/2 carotte, 1 feuille de salade et 1 pomme grenaille), un dessert (babas au rhum) "correct". La vraie bonne surprise est le plateau de fromages!! Nous étions 4 à manger (samedi midi). C'est regrettable. On a senti qu'il y avait de bonnes intentions. Bref, c'est dommage car le potentiel de ce lieu semble énorme. Apellez Philippe Etchebest!

14/06/2024: The quality of the dishes is mediocre: some dishes or sauces have a clearly industrial taste, the cheese platter offers very few cheeses and is not very tasty, the apple pie, said to be homemade, tasteless (but the chocolate mousse was good). But it is the atmosphere imposed by the manager and his state of mind which are even more disappointing. For example, when paying, we discovered that we were charged an extra €2 because one of us went a second time to help ourselves to the buffet to try a salad. However, this possible supplement had never been reported by the waitress. We were surprised by the manager who told us that we only had to make one plate but bigger (which is totally stupid, encouraging waste and overconsumption). Rq: on the other hand, the fact of not having consumed the wine included in the menu is not deducted from the bill. The application of this supplement (13% on a €15 menu) also means that the manager "monitors" what the customers are doing, in order to know if they get up to go to the buffet or go outside. All this to charge them €2. Such a state of mind undoubtedly explains the mediocre quality of the products and dishes, the desire to recover every last euro clearly being the manager's priority objective. To avoid.

30/08/2024: My father hospitalized in Montluçon, I live in the Var, I came one August evening to this restaurant to please him by offering him his favorite dish which is the Stuffed Crab, there was none, so I I settled on a Chinese omelette! Response from the boss: you can't do it yourself! I explain to her that I am from the Var very kindly etc... she kicks out my 14 year old daughter and me... my father died the night that followed... I won't say anything about the cooking, but you should be ashamed of yourself for doing so like this...

16/07/2024: The secret of the restaurant is the woman who serves. She creates the atmosphere and is very helpful, although you have to love that. The food is nice, traditional, but not very much. We were still hungry after dessert. For a menu of 26 euros you expect more than four shrimps. Shame.

22/02/2024: So to begin with I don’t understand why the establishment closes at 2:30 p.m. Flunch has always been open for 4 hours, which allows you to sit down with a friend to chat, but now it's no longer possible, knowing that there's only that in Montluçon. 22/02/2024: It bothers me to put 1 star, if I could have not put one it would have been better. I'm not the type to complain, but when I see this cafeteria it's enough to pull my hair out, in the 2000s when I came flunch to be attracted by these choices, 20 years later when I see the choices on the menu and that nothing has changed, I find it sad that in 20 years nothing has changed but for now. Today we eat cardboard, last time I ordered a steak unfortunately it was as hard as the table, I will send my dentist bill to flunch, the only positive point was the pancakes which were well stocked, it brought people to four o'clock, but today it is closed at 4 o'clock, in the evening, not many people, but I can understand given the welcome there is and what we are served. Flunch Montluçon is going straight into the wall and it won't get better by closing the four hours. Run away!!!

30/09/2024: La Comté offers pancakes and waffles. Saturday afternoon I went there with friends to offer them a little snack but the waitress told us that she did not serve pancakes or waffles in the afternoon because she was alone. IT WOULD BE GOOD TO SPECIFY THIS OUTSIDE. We had a chocolate which apparently was homemade but I've had better, plus it wasn't very hot and we were in the middle of a draft. To avoid. 👎

23/09/2024: The team received me well, in treatment in the town, reception at the restaurant was long, victim of L'enseignement? Their pancakes are light and tasty. Bravo for this balance in the composition of their products after 15 days of attendance Price with alcohol 🤣

13/09/2024: Il faut passer la porte … restaurant de grande qualité, des produits au top, un éveillé présentation, un service convivial. Les légumes sont cuisinés avec délicatesse, ils viennent parfaitement accompagner la viande. La plat du jour est de grande qualité. Et laissez vous conseiller pour le dessert, vous ne serez pas déçu

16/08/2024: We had dinner here, it was fantastic. Great food, super cheap. Good service, taste was delicious, it was on the table quickly. Good wine, nice water, nice coffee. Highly recommended!

30/07/2024: While stopping by for a coffee for 20 minutes, the boss had time to argue with two customers... For our part, we wanted to change our baby and therefore throw the diaper in the trash which is in the toilet, logically. The boss followed my companion to the toilet and told him to throw the diaper in a trash can in the street... My partner did not understand this request because everywhere we throw diapers, tampons, etc. in the toilet trash. So the boss yelled at him... A customer even looked at me and laughed “your diaper might be radioactive”.

30/08/2024: Ashamed, I arrive to get my bread around 5 p.m., the waitress who brings in the chairs and tables and then goes behind the counter without washing her hands and asks you what do I serve you!! I told him before serving me please put on gloves you haven't washed your hands!! She put on gloves and served me my bread and then took it off to serve the other customers.... We must not forget that bread is the only thing that cannot be washed!! A total lack of hygiene This person wears glasses, mid-length wavy hair, she is not very tall.

18/08/2024: While passing through Vichy we discovered this pastry by chance and we were not disappointed at all. Balanced pastries, sought-after tastes, well made. Their range of bread is incredible! Very good quality! I recommend!

28/07/2024: We were very disappointed by this establishment which we went to regularly. We waited 25 minutes to be served at a slow hour. We had to ask for the table to be cleaned, which was done in a bad mood by the unpleasant waiter, we really felt like we were bothering us. Luckily, a smiling waitress eventually arrived. On our table of 5, two of us got sick immediately after tasting (vomiting, gastro). We suspect homemade whipped cream that is not fresh. We reported this to the waitress who was sorry. The price is excessive compared to the service. We will not return to this address which claims a standard well beyond the quality and service delivered.

23/07/2024: Extrêmement déçus. Baisse de la qualité et de la quantité, moins de choix qu'auparavant dans le buffet et pour un prix plus élevé. N'accepte pas les chèques et en plus un lecteur de CB en panne nous avons du ressortir pour chercher du liquide. Ce restaurant n'a plus rien à voir avec ce qu'il était. Nous ne reviendrons pas.

18/07/2024: My husband and I were regulars, having been working on the house since February, we hadn't taken the time to return to our favorite restaurant. And there, 6 months later, big disappointment but really, the cleaning was catastrophic, greeted like a "slipper", we were said hello with our mouths full (goodbye also)... we were shocked, after the dishes it didn't matter nothing more to do with what we had known before, before it was absolutely homemade...what a shame really it was a superb address, a very beautiful place, with owners that we appreciate

03/09/2024: Nice food ! And loved that they use their on containers for chips and drink if you’re eating in ! Toilets weren’t particularly clean - and there were flies inside the restaurant.

11/09/2024: Very nice discovery, warm welcome, top regional products, gourmet and generous plates. Definitely worth the detour. And we haven't had dessert yet...
