18/11/2023: Passing through St Pourcain restaurant chosen a little at random, very warm welcome, menu at 15€40 starter main course dessert excellent food super tender meat with choice of three succulent dessert sauces, very friendly waitress, we will return with pleasure,👍.

21/12/2024: L’hygiène laisse à désirer, les repas sont froids, vulgaires tambouille de cantine militaire, passer votre chemin. Si vraiment vous y allez pas la peine d’aller côté restaurant, ce sont les mêmes cuisines que du côté cafétéria.
10/12/2024: Le décor est plutôt très agréable..
Mais la salle de restauration est glacial..
Que c'est terrible de se geler pour manger.

29/06/2024: Di passaggio per visitare i castelli della Loira abbiamo pernottato a Lapalisse scegliendo questa struttura sia come hotel - semplice ma confortevole - che come ristorante.
Siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi dalla gentile accoglienza, dalla genuinità dei prodotti offerti, per esempio il patè con ottima composta di cipolle o la morbidissima entrecote, e dal rapporto prezzo/qualità

Friendly welcome.
Spacious room (Reinette).
Large dining room.
I have to remove one star because it doesn't deserve its "local cuisine" status. Nothing is homemade (maybe the deviled eggs), not even the fries.
And what about the frozen soufflé? It tasted like ice cubes and something from the fridge.
What a shame!
But I'll be back.

30/09/2024: de passage a Montluçon, on c est arrêté a la boulangerie pour y faire une pause .leurs pâtisseries excellant les serveuses souriante et agréables.
19/09/2024: Sur pizza, une larme de sauce tomate, une larme de jambon blanc pas possible de couper plus fine ! Que de la pâte à manger... pour 3€60.
Le bénéfice est colossal

30/10/2025: Had the chicken tagine take away . Simple but enjoyable. Momo ( friendly owner ) provide decent home made food . The fairly large portion cost €12.00 per person . It is served in the original Maroccan dish which add to authentic feel . I recommend

15/09/2024: We were impressed by the size and furnishings of the breakfast room, the breakfast was rich and carefully selected, and the service was impeccable.
09/09/2024: We had a very good stay. The suite was superb and there were lots of little touches (tea and coffee tray, drinks in the mini-fridge, bathrobes, slippers, Bluetooth speaker, etc.) that you don't find much even in other 4 stars.
We will come back, for sure.
