15/01/2026: Just a small piece that slightly spoiled my meal, making it hard to digest. Otherwise, it was good. A bit pricey for a neighborhood in Niort. It has that classic Chinese restaurant feel, with good soups.

29/01/2026: I visited here because I thought it would be nice to recharge with a Korean meal.
The pork bulbaek and green onion chicken were both delicious, and I especially liked the green onion chicken. The side dishes were also delicious.
I added rice and side dishes to make it a "pupa."
My partner wasn't feeling well, so I probably ate 1.7 servings by myself, but it was filling and delicious.
Everyone was very friendly, which made my experience even more satisfying.

31/01/2026: A lovely discovery! A restaurant with welcoming, smiling, and friendly staff. The food is good; it's not the best restaurant in the world, but it's still very, very good overall, with reasonable prices. I'll gladly return sometime.
31/01/2026: The food wasn’t bad, but I’m afraid the service, whilst friendly, was poor. Despite us saying a few times that we were ready to order, they decided that cleaning tables and doing other things around the restaurant was the priority. Then when the food arrived it was randomly staggered, so a main meal would be served and then the accompanying rice served 5 minutes later. Also some of us had nearly finished our meal before others in the group were served their meal. I’m afraid I wouldn’t go back.

The spring rolls were a homemade delight, as were the satay beef and the duck with basil—a real treat!
The waiters and waitresses were very welcoming. A restaurant worth discovering!

11/12/2025: We were seated across an extremely noisy group of young women in a small room, they talked so loudly we heard every word they said, but not our own conversation. Even our waitress winced at the level of noise they were making - we asked politely if they could request the guests to lower their voices but they chose not to. Didn’t stay for dessert as it was very unpleasant.

This is my 5th visit to Songsan Restaurant!!
I've tried jjambbong, samgyeopsal, kimchi jjigae, tangsuyuk, jeyuk, and buldolsot galbi,
and they're all delicious without fail~~!
The owner is so kind,
and the staff speak Korean fluently and are incredibly friendly!! You really have to come back🩷🩷

01/12/2025: We ordered delicious French ribeye steak, which we grilled right at our table. The Korean BBQ concept is super user-friendly.
The banchan (side dishes) were fresh and varied (kimchi, cucumbers, spinach, etc.). Plenty of options for making ssam (wrapping the meat in salad).
Excellent value for money, with a total bill of €108 for four people.
