14/03/2026: New ownership. They've kept the menu and the prices, but the portions have shrunk considerably... The price of a grilled beef dish, my go-to for years at this establishment, was half the size. At €17, it's already more expensive than other options, but I still left hungry... Very disappointed. It's a shame, as I'd been a regular customer for over 20 years.

20/03/2026: A group of us went out for dinner, and overall, the experience was mixed. To start, we ordered fried calamari and tempura soft-shell crab. The calamari was tasty, but a bit dry and tough. The crab, on the other hand, was quite good. For our main courses, we tried the Korean chicken and the duck. The chicken was a pleasant surprise: very crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and with a well-balanced spiciness. The duck was also quite good, cooked perfectly, and served with a well-blended sauce. The biggest problem was the service. It took more than half an hour to serve our first course and another 40 minutes between the first and second courses. Furthermore, they never informed us of the delay or showed any concern for the wait, which significantly worsened the experience. In short, the food was good, but the service needs improvement.

07/03/2026: Sarawan is a neighborhood institution. The atmosphere, the staff, and the clientele are reminiscent of another era. It's a family-run restaurant, and its standard is superior to other restaurants in the area. The food remains consistently good and enjoyable, a reputation it has maintained for many years. You absolutely must try the caramel pork, but the homemade spring rolls are also worth the trip. And in reality, everything is delicious. In conclusion, you'll have a wonderful time at Sarawan, and I go back from time to time.

20/03/2026: Incredible! A fantastic dinner for €10 in Paris, unheard of! And what's more, it's delicious, clean, and the service is friendly. You pay by weight, so there's no waste. It's amazing!

18/03/2026: Super sweet and attentive staff! They accept euro and card but if you use card you have to spend at least 8€!! But regardless it was amazing food is sooo good and you can choose your portions! Oh and we got buns to go too

26/10/2025: It's been 15 years since I've been to this restaurant... I loved it! We had the Peking duck served as a three-course meal: delicious! The chef comes to your table to present the duck before carving it. The owners are extremely kind. I'll be back with great pleasure.

14/12/2024: The old port of Marseille seen from the heights, this city is fascinating because I have the impression of having two worlds. Leaving the train station you have large cities with lots of people and popular neighborhoods until you reach the old port. Once you are there, it is a rather chic and bling bling world, everything is made for tourism and you are amazed Take the time to sit on a bench and contemplate the sky, the sea... escape....

24/11/2025: The restaurant's decor is nice, but the food is truly disappointing. - The jokbal was dry, the banchan and sauces ridiculously small, barely enough for two people. - The ssam only had 7-8 lettuce leaves, and the €2 supplement adds virtually nothing—it's outrageous. - The fried chicken came with two identical, overly sweet sauces, some with tiny pieces. - The bulgogi was bland, swimming in onions, and tasteless. A restaurant that looks good in photos, but small portions, mediocre quality, and unjustified prices. I do not recommend it.

23/11/2025: Since Bokko opened, I've been there probably 40-50 times, and I've held all my get-togethers at Bokko. Whenever someone asked me about a Korean restaurant, I'd recommend Bokko. It's been a while since I've been there, and I guess the owner has changed. The generous portions that made me want to go to Bokko are gone, leaving behind prices that feel like they're being abused. I wondered if my stomach had expanded. The menu was incomprehensible, with no rice included, and the jjambbong was smaller and saltier. I wondered if it was jjambbong or stir-fried jjambbong. Plus, adding a bowl of rice brought the price up to 3.50 euros. Even though Korean food is all the rage these days, isn't 3.50 euros for a bowl of rice a bit much? Is this just me? Ultimately, Korean restaurants are becoming less popular. It's worth considering.
