29/03/2026: You enter here without being dazzled. The dining room, stripped to its bare essentials, clearly makes no attempt to seduce. No lanterns, no lacquered wood, no Japanese clichés. Nothing to hint at what's happening in the kitchen. And yet. Behind this almost austere decor, a French chef—assisted by his Japanese wife, whose precise and discreet service evokes the customs of the archipelago—creates cuisine of unexpected rigor. The ingredients are fresh, the techniques masterful, the dishes conceived with a meticulousness that contrasts with the simplicity of the setting. First, the tonkatsu: impeccable breading, perfectly crisp, juicy meat. A starter that sets the tone. Then, the goma udon: a delicately vinegared sesame broth, perfectly cooked noodles, a balance of flavors that testifies to true expertise. The trio of ice creams—green tea, sesame, and yuzu—concludes the meal with a fragrant simplicity, without a single false note. A glass of Ume Shu accompanies the meal, a light plum liqueur, dangerously easy to drink. We leave with the feeling of having discovered a simple place that does things right, cleanly and sincerely. A restaurant that doesn't try to be flashy, but masters the essentials: flavor.

10/03/2026: I ordered a TooGoodToGo from this restaurant, which I hadn't known about despite living in the neighborhood for years. What a great find! I loved the dish—generous portions and delicious! I'm leaving a review because the restaurant isn't visible from the street, but it's definitely worth climbing those few steps. The decor is lovely, the staff seems very friendly, and the food is excellent. I'd definitely go back to eat in sometime!

24/02/2026: The food was mediocre and hard to digest, but the service was disastrous. We waited an hour between ordering and receiving the ingredients for the barbecue! The waitress seemed overwhelmed, even though there were only three tables with customers, including ours, in the entire restaurant. A very bad experience; I won't be back.

04/05/2026: If you’re looking for a decent pho, I wouldn’t recommend. As other comments have mentioned, the broth is bland. I was surprised it’s lacking depth of flavor…. The noodles have a noticeable starchy, powdery taste. The beef is just average — a bit chewy and not particularly memorable. Not as authentic as other Vietnamese restaurants I’ve tried.

01/05/2026: My go-to spot for years, excellent Pho and other specialties. Fresh and flavorful, eat in or take away. The owner has a rare smile but is always efficient and pleasant. 🙂

19/04/2026: Tasteless, overly salty dishes, from the shrimp rice where you have to search for the shrimp—it's incredibly dry. The shrimp spring rolls are inedible and also extremely dry. The pork spring rolls are tasteless. Only the wok dish is barely worth it. We won't be going back.

10/04/2026: I love all-you-can-eat Asian buffets. I saw the Google rating of 4.0/5, which many people give 5 stars for very little, like just being friendly. It's nice, but it's not enough. So I wanted to see for myself, and I was quite disappointed, as was my partner, whom I invited. I love noodles, but noodles in general, and on my first visit, they were undercooked. It's a shame because there's a lot of choice, but you can't say the quality was there. Where I live, the restaurant is smaller, but the quality is there, so it's very often full. Here, the restaurant is large, spacious, and beautiful, but because of this lack of quality, there aren't many people. The prices displayed online aren't up to date. It says €15.90 per person on weekdays at lunchtime, but once we arrived, it said €16.50 per person on the table, which changes everything. Paid so much for a mediocre meal, plus indigestion upon leaving the restaurant, even though they are welcoming it is not worth going back.

11/03/2026: I've been there more than ten times and have never been disappointed. I went back and was incredibly disappointed. They were the only ones in the restaurant, they couldn't be bothered to cook. I paid 60 euros for a completely dry tandoori chicken. The portion was tiny and they didn't even use the same sauce containers as before, which just proves they couldn't be bothered to cook for us. I'll never go back. I was so happy to introduce the restaurant to my husband because I'd been there about ten times, but they'll never see me again. It's a huge disappointment, especially since they were the only ones there. They've just lost a loyal customer. Even the lamb dish I'd been ordering for years changed; they served us some kind of stuffed merguez sausage, which is nothing like it used to be.
